From zero Mrr to 0 mrr. Get my secret sauce below

This is my first year building stuff. Building has become a bit more fluid with all the tools around. Allows me build all my shower thoughts on local. I've built several websites and saas products as side projects. There's a joy to building that has made me feel purposeful. I can only imagine what it feels like to make consistent mrr. I believe if you apply yourself long enough, consistency will either payoff or you'll realize that local is where you should stay. I have 3 products that I think have potential so will market those and see what happens. Brainotes seeks to organize all your ideas in one place. Let's be honest we've lost tonnes of ideas because of wh...

Help me hit 1,000 DAU for my iOS app before 2025 🚀

3h ago

Hi everyone! I’m a mobile developer aiming for 1,000 daily active users by the end of this year. Current status: • Running Google Ads for about 1 month • Mostly $15 per day (with a few days at $30 per day before) • Current DAU: 200–300 • Main market: South Korea About the app: • Casual finger picker / random draw game (no login) • Users place their finger → app picks one person • Used for fun decisions (coffee bets, team splits, order deciding, etc.) • AppStore Link: http://apps.apple.com/app/id6749502463 Question: Any ideas to help me grow from 300 → 1,000 DAU by year-end? Open to ad optimization, feature ideas, updates, retention tips, or marketing sugge...

best marketplace for print on demand

3h ago

I wanted to prepare for my online store , so I actually was building a POD site, but, it appears there are some complications regarding return policies, privacy and terms and conditions for these. Since, I'm testing out only a few handful of designs, I didn't want to deal with most of these. What is the best marketplace alternative, where I only will have to worry about the designing and marketing/advertising part without any of this hassle? Is redbubble the best alternative? Any recommendations greatly appreciated.

I built an app that scans food labels for allergens (launched this week!)

3h ago

Hey! Just launched **Allergify** – an AI‑powered food label scanner that helps you quickly spot allergens and risky ingredients when you’re shopping. # How it works You scan a barcode and Allergify instantly analyzes it for: * Your saved allergens (nuts, milk, eggs, gluten, soy, etc.) * “May contain” and “processed in a facility with…” warnings * Additives and E‑numbers that often hide allergens\* * Basic nutrition flags (e.g. ultra‑processed, high sugar/salt)\* Results are color‑coded (Safe / May contain / Unsafe / Unknown) so you can decide in a couple of seconds instead of reading a tiny wall of text. # The AI part (premium) Allergify uses AI on top of Open F...

This never happens. $30 in, $700 out. Xmas came early

Stopped by a liquor store to grab a bottle of iced tea and decided to grab these 2 tickets. I scanned them with the app for second chance and I was stunned that both won, expecting small amounts. Started scratching and was surprised that the Merry Multiplier had won $40 but then uncovered the multiplier 5X!! Satisfied with that I wasn’t expecting the Monopoly to hit big. Love a $500 instant win. The liquor store could only cash the $200, had to go to the grocery store to cash the $500.

Considering Chapter 13 for Car Loan

3h ago

I am considering going down the path to pursue Chapter 13 bankruptcy as I am in a situation where I physically cannot afford to make payments on a car AND pay rent in my city simultaneously. About a year ago I was essentially homeless and got a decent paying job 57k a year, I got a cheap apartment $800 per month in Houston which is very cheap - with additional fees I pay 900-1000 per month, but about a month after that my car completely broke down and I had no way of getting to work anymore. I was ****** and agreed to a predatory car loan at over 34% APR 20k loan for a Toyota Camry. I pay $500 per month for the car, plus insanely expensive car insurance due to my age and requiring full co...

Modular Toy Store Employee Gift 4002025 with Other Modulars

3h ago

Some people were curious to see what it looked like with others, so I’ve picked a few I think it works well with (and some requested combos). In my opinion the best placement would be between the book store and market street since both give more autumnal / wintery vibes and have lower buildings to ease into this one’s height. Happy to share more if there are specific requests!

32K sales, 5K profit and 16.1% margin ☺️

3h ago

Quick update from BFCM week and after a few weeks of tightening things up and trying to get more control over spend + backend costs, this one finally felt like a clean W. Didn’t scale crazy, just kept things steady, and the numbers came out much healthier than I expected: - Revenue: ~$31.8K - Net profit: ~$5.1K - Net margin: ~16.1% Nothing wild, but honestly the first “calm and profitable” week I’ve had this whole BFCM run. I’ll take it. How was your BFCM this year? And are you prepping anything specific for next Christmas??

A new 2D Pixel-Art Rogue-Like Game Wartheon on Steam

3h ago

[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DsD87DUfFnU](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DsD87DUfFnU) After 2 years of work, I plan to release my first game - Wartheon as EA in the middle of Jan, 2026. The game is a unique mixture of rogue-like, pixel-art and rpg elements. Game currently has a free demo you can try it and recommend it t your friends if you like it. [https://store.steampowered.com/app/3214320/Wartheon/](https://store.steampowered.com/app/3214320/Wartheon/) Also, I am open to constructive feedbacks regarding the game's content and marketing. I try to handle it all myself so these days I get really frustrated for what should be done next or it is worth it.

The Financialization of Poverty

3h ago

I’ve been trying to figure out why I feel broke despite making decent money. On paper, my salary is higher than what my parents earned at my age. I should be doing better than they were. But somehow, I’m always one emergency away from disaster. Every month feels like I’m barely staying afloat. For a while, I bought the standard explanations. Wages haven’t kept up with inflation. Housing costs have exploded. Student debt is crushing my generation. Corporate greed is out of control. These are all true, but they didn’t explain the feeling I couldn’t shake: that something fundamental had shifted in how the economy works. Then I started noticing the apps. There’s an app to advance...

Pick any weekday to visit Kovan and you'll find it bustling with hungry residents heading to the hawker centre for a meal, nipping into the supermarket or wet market to pick up groceries and students dropping by a bakery for a takeaway treat.    It's a quintessential Singapore "heartland" neighbourhood, with coffee shops nestled between general stores selling everything a household needs, second-hand mobile phone shops and traditional Chinese medicine clinics alongside general practitioners. But in the last few years, the retail landscape of the area has slowly evolved with various bubble tea and ice cream shops emerging, cafes selling matcha alongside the trendiest b...

Does your store have a frozen manager?

3h ago

Kind of a weird question, I know, but does your store have a frozen manager or is it mostly other people from grocery or meat departments stocking/handling things for frozen? When I first started working here we had a frozen manager, and he was kinda the only real person who worked in the frozen department at least in the daytime. It's a small store, so only an aisle and a half worth of frozen goods, but people from other departments would occasionally help out. Well, he left like four years ago, and no one has filled his spot. I honestly didn't really think about it until our new HBC manager was telling me about the overnight person he's supposed to have helping him in his ...

Kind stranger, thank-you

3h ago

At the grocery store, gas station, or car wash, seems like anywhere I go I run into them. Their gaze hangs just a little bit longer, their smile stays put, so I am sure to see it. They offer assistance, when none is needed. Saying it’s no big deal, and am I sure? They are nicer now, they are kinder. I am so blessed. They don’t care what my politics are, they don’t care if I’m LGBTQ. They care not how I voted. They talk softer, apologize more often, go out of their way, and get out of mine. For that, I am grateful. Who are they? I’ve no idea. They are no different than the people before. I am no different, just bald. I want to thank them. Thank-you. With every ounce of...

I finally figured out why we're all broke despite working full-time.

CH work advice

3h ago

Hey everyone, 31M, suffered through cluster headaches since my early-mid 20's but had remission for the last 3 years. As you can guess, a new cluster has started (hooray). I was wondering what advice people have for dealing with their attacks whilst in a working environment. I started a new job in May that involves in-store sales and thus constant interaction with others. Not working, and avoiding customers/fellow employees isn't really an option, and currently my only way to abort a headache is a wet/cold rag on my eye at almost all times, which is also not something I can really pull off without issue. (As a quick side note: if there's any Australians here who can recommen...

My shopping list is ready for Christmas celebrations… kinda

4h ago

I swear Christmas hits different when you finally sit down and make the *actual* shopping list. Like I opened my notes app thinking I’d just write “gifts + snacks” and somehow it turned into a full-blown grocery marathon plus a “things-I-forgot-last-year” trauma list. I’ve got cookies, wrapping paper, candles, batteries (because why do kids’ toys eat batteries like they’re starving), hot chocolate mix, some random spices I don’t remember the purpose of… and of course, gifts. So many gifts. Why does every store suddenly decide to put cute stuff in my face the moment I walk in? It’s like Christmas season is one big emotional trap and I fall for it every year. The funny ...
