Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Protein Foods Latest Community Discussions About Protein FoodsIm quitting gym. Wanna make sure if my desicion is right .1h agoBeen working out on and off for 4 years , eating right amount of protien and afrer spending thousands of rupees on protein and supplements this is how my body looks after 4 years. I honestly start hating gym . After seeing all the posts on this sub I feel so depressed. Im not even close to that. So maybe I feel like gym is not for me . I am thinking of shifting my exercise to endurance like running. I don't know if imw right. I honestly feel sad leaving gym though. Fasting vs. a healthy diet1h agoOk so I have always fasted in order to loose weight coffee is my usual breakfast. After that I eat random meals I actually enjoy fasting but I can't do it everyday. I work full time + more and go to school on the weekends and certain nights out of the week I typically never eat at work and when I have class on the weekdays I don't eat those days. I'd rather pick sleep over food honestly. Sometimes I just don't want to eat. I'm not an anorexic or anything I actually am a little over a healthy weight. My weight fluctuates, Last year I lost 60 pounds from fasting. I've heard my coworkers say protein helps loose weight but I have never tried that route. One thing I... Getting back on track…1h agoI’ve been yo-yoing lately and off track. Started back up again but not so hungry due to stress and fatigue today. I I kept it simple and easy for meals today as well. I overate yesterday because I made home made fried potatoes. They were so good but way over budget. I have 93 calories left for a late night snack so I think we are okay for today. I might use those 93 calories for veggies. I built SnackSmart - a fast, no-nonsense snack logger. Tap to relog your frequent snacks in 2 seconds.1h agoHey everyone, Solo indie dev here. I built SnackSmart because every calorie tracker I tried was designed for sit-down meals - scan a barcode, search a database, scroll through results. That's fine for dinner, but nobody's doing that for "a few chips from the bag." **The core idea: snack logging should take 2 seconds, not 20.** Here's how it actually works: **Quick Log bar** \- Your 5 most recent snacks sit as tappable chips at the bottom of your dashboard. Grabbed the same Greek yogurt you had yesterday? One tap, confirm the portion, done. It remembers the nutrition from last time so you're not re-entering anything. **Photo logging** \- For new snacks, take... 10 years of symptoms, finally seeking care. advice & tips appreciated !1h agohi all, im 20f and recently got diagnosed with anemia. i've had health struggles since adolescence, but i've never been properly diagnosed with anything. i think it all ties back to my menstrual cycle as these symptoms started around then but i am glad to finally be able to receive help about my iron w this diagnosis i've had low energy and fatigue since middle school, which is when i also became very pale and nails became brittle. also started getting debilitating headaches which still come and go often, but not daily. i also get out of breath v quickly when going uphill, which i thought was due to my fitness capabilities, but this never improved despite getting more in shap... How did I exceed my calories1h agoHow did exceeding my carbs by 2 grams lead to exceeding my calories by 50, without even hitting other macro targets? The math is not mathing How is Cosmix Protein Powder?1h agoNeed your thoughts & opinion on Cosmix Protein Powder, protein products & supplements? Considering stopping mounjaro1h ago49 year old Male. 5-8 with graves since 2007 and managed. Endo put me on metformin for past 5 years. Weight fluctuated from 170-185 but was in an upward journey. Since 2022, I was doing a lot of sports and weight training , but in 2023 weight caught up again. Specifically large midsection. I started a new endo and he recommended mounjaro. A1c was 5.7. 2.5 for 4 months. I dropped from 183 to 173 in 2 months but since then it has been stagnant. Increased to 5 mg and for past 4 months no change in my weight. However, life has been miserable. I feel exhausted, can’t do weight training or sports. I never napped before but now I need to. Food noise has gone. A1c is 5.5. Feel slightly dizzy when ... Dosage related to visceral fat1h agocurrently 6 weeks on reta (with cjc dac and tb), dropped from 87kg to 78kg at 168cm maintaining most of my strength/muscle by way of taking care of my nutrition and training. prior to this, i was 120kg and dropped to ~90 just by eating near maintenance and being more active but hit a plateau for 2 months. 1st week was 1mg, 2nd was 1.5mg, and i've stayed on 2mg since. the appetite/food noise suppression is at its peak now and i've no reason to think i need to up my dose to 3 or 4 because of that, but i remember briefly reading that 4mg/week is where the glucagon mechanism starts to actually kick in, thus targeting more on visceral fat. any input on this? Why LFHC vegan diet makes no sense: Insider's perspective2h agoThis post serves to document a start of a new health journey. Today, I exit the cult of ultra low-fat, high carbohydrate veganism. For the last year, I have not primarily followed the LFHC diet. Rather, I was eating a what I thought was a healthful, well-balanced diet: lots of bread, grains, and very sweet, equatorial fruit along with a lot of meat, fish, dairy. It didn't provide the stability in focus, mood, physical performance, and sleep a young man at university needs. For the last few weeks, I have been in the cult of Peter Roger's theological vegan zealots. From his non-nutrition videos on the most absurd topics and his narcissistic lauding of himself as Aristotle and the sm... Do not trust these Healthy Meal Labels.2h agoCame across incorrect protein labeling on Eatfit. Nutrition numbers shouldn’t be guesswork, a lot of us make decisions based on them. Expected better. The Elite, Epstein and the new Worldorder2h ago# The Architecture of Elite Control: Forensic Analysis of Global Power Networks and the Strategic Realignment via the "Great Reset" Analyzing the power structures of the early 21st century requires shifting away from superficial political observation toward a forensic analysis of financial flows, academic infiltration, and the weaponization of *kompromat*. Unsealed documents from the Jeffrey Epstein circle (2024–2026), combined with internal banking records and the World Economic Forum's (WEF) programmatic publications, reveal a system that extends far beyond individual crimes. It is an integrated infrastructure of influence where financial institutions serve as enablers, e... 4 Weeks In - The Good, The Bad, The Ugly2h agoCurrently 4 weeks in with reta and figured I’d share a little bit about my journey. Height: 6’ Starting Weight: 268 Current Weight: 257 I work out fairly consistently - go to gym 4 times a week, weight lift fairly heavy, and incorporate 12/30/3 on treadmill 3-4 days a week then Peloton 1-2 days a week at home. For the life of me, I can never seem to lose any weight - I eat moderately healthy, don’t consume unnecessary calories from drinks (stick to water, black cold brew or with some almond milk but never sugar). I decided to try out reta to see what would happen. Week 1: 1 mg - 2x a week Week 2 (this is where I made a mistake and let urgency rule my decision making: 2.5 mg - 2x ... Hello, legit po ba itong seller ng creatine?2h agoI wanna buy creatine for cognitive boost sana. Saw this deal and it looks like a steal. Pero I'm also wary about fakes. Please be honest. I know yung iba magsasabi lang na fake para sila na maghohoard lol. Give me a chance, it's my first time. Link to product: https://ph.shp.ee/6edYwYX Helppp! Protein tips2h agoI thought drinking enough water would be the hardest challenge on these meds since I used to be chronically dehydrated and drinking 10-12 cups of water seemed impossible. Turns out that was the easy part. I am just not able to get enough protein. All my meals are protein forward and that is the first and sometimes the only thing I eat. I try to fill the gaps with a shake and a protein bar. But no matter what I do I can not get enough protein in me. At this point the thought of another protein heavy meal grosses me out. I need to get about 100g according to my doctor. I am barely getting to 75 and it is a struggle. The problem is that I have a small appetite and protein fills me up quickly. I... Why do vegans think lashing out will convert people2h agoI just brought up on another subreddit how I’m a dairy-free nevervegan, who could not go vegan due to my IBS. (And not eating dairy already narrows down my diet enough where relying on stuff like chicken, eggs, is a big help for protein) And someone lashed out at me saying “If you’re so SPECIAL that you need a certain animal product, you could at least reduce it” It’s like dawg, my mom already doesn’t eat red meat (She was forced to eat poorly cooked steak as a kid and it traumatized her), my dad has gout, and my brother has sensory stuff with some food, so my family eats pretty flexitarian already. Are they special since they think humans are a unique category outside of othe... Soybean oil vs Soy Oil and allergic reaction3h agoI am highly allergic to soy that causes a skin reaction. I know soybean oil is safe due to the allergy being cooked out. I'm unsure if the same case if for Soy Oil. Google has been giving contradicting results. The soy allergy isn't bolded but I just want others opinion before I risk it. Vanilla Bundt Cake3h agoThis cake was an absolute BANGER. Not “good for a diet cake” — like actually just GOOD good. Super moist, and that glaze?? Unreal. With my ingredients it came out to 253 calories per slice… but I cut it into 8 instead of 12 because it was THAT good 😂 Zero regrets, would make again immediately. How much effect does being lean and athletic have on being able to dangle quick in tight?3h agoThe best danglers I know are all lean and athletic. Bonus points if they're tall. The smaller guys tend to have to 10&2 like Kaprisov to protect the puck. The ones who have more of a dad bod but are still good on their skates, will tend to use their body more, but aren't as good in tight. Must admit, I have more of a dad bod now, and playing 2x a day has really drained my power. When I go to the gym I can barely lift half what I did before the winter. For years in soccer, if I workout the day before a game or eat fried foods, my performance drops significantly on game day. Can't reach the through balls, lose more 50/50s, less sharp on my toes to react quickly.
