"I was struggling with my extremely picky eater who would simply sniff his meals and walk away. It was heartbreaking to see him not eat well, plus it felt like money down the drain after trying so many different types of food. Then came this game-changer: a new formula he absolutely adores! Every bowl is licked clean now; he's healthier with a beautiful shiny coat and full of life again." What actually qualifies as 'mansplaining'?52m agoI'm in the office today and I was grabbing a drink in the kitchen when these two women were discussing supplements right next to me. One of them was talking about creatine and the other asked what that is. She said its basically a really strong protein powder, pretty much a legal steroid with no side effects. The other woman was like oh really? She was like yup, it's crazy that more people don't know about it. Now, anyone who knows anything about supplements knows she's talking out of her ***. I interjected politely and I said "Excuse me ladies, don't mean to interject but creatine is a performance enhancer, not a protein powder or steroid. It helps generate A... Confused about reaction58m agoI bought this ramen seasoning online. The packaging says gluten free/vegan. However, this is my second time trying it and having a severe reaction as though I ate gluten. Literally could feel that “off” feeling in my gut that you get when you eat gluten. Any ideas about what could be causing it based on the ingredients list? Raw Cat food help1h agoHey everyone! So my cat has been raw fed for 3 years now. He used to eat Savage Cat but when the company switched their duck farm to mid west duck, he started turning his nose up to all of it. So I got him on lotus. Lotus has so many meat options to choose from, which is great so I can switch proteins weekly. He loves it ! Right now lotus can't get any of their food to the distributors. My two small business pet food stores can't get any in. Im scrambling trying to find a replacement. I have one tub of the lotus lamb left and started feeding him Savage cat chicken again. He is tolerating the Savage cat a little but at times wastes alot of it. Does anyone have any suggestions abo... Too much protein?1h agoPurina one True Instinct 30% protein 17% fat I’ve seen post about active dogs and needing the extra protein and fat. My dogs are not active. They have a fenced in yard and sun bathe most of the day. I have a 4 year old (60 pounds), 7 year old (60 pounds) , 11 year old (80 pounds). This is purina one true instinct. Is it an issue to feed them this? Only two cups a day for all due to weight loss and maintenance. I could not switch food even if I wanted to. Picky dog wouldn’t allow it. On Wegovy and Still Overeating Sometimes1h agoHey everyone !! I’m on a GLP-1 journey (through s h e m e d) with Wegovy, and overall it *has* helped but I’ll be honest, I still struggle a lot with cravings and emotional eating. Some days I’m not even hungry… I’m just stressed, bored, tired, or emotional, and suddenly I’m eating more than I planned. Then the guilt kicks in, and that messes with my motivation even more. I’m trying to remind myself of a few things that *are* slowly helping: * Pausing before I eat and asking: “Am I hungry, or am I overwhelmed?” * Not banning foods restriction makes me obsess more. * Eating protein earlier in the day, which genuinely reduces the evening snack attacks. * Giving myself ... Is my 60 lbs puppy eating right?1h agoHi! My family and I recently adopted what we think is a Rhodesian Mix. Since we’ve never had dogs before we asked a bunch of questions to our vet about what to be feeding him. Our vet told us to go the raw food route with nothing else to really supplement and we’ve been having issues with his stool. We’ve tried giving him pumpkin puree and it seems to be super inconsistent whether or not that helps. We’re also running into the problem of him being super hungry all the time. We’re really trying to do right by him and give him the best possible options. We just have no clue if we’re doing it right! Why is nearly every interaction with the VA an exercise in futility?1h agoSix months ago I filed a FOIA request for C&P exam notes from my last exam. I also filed a request for my CFile. Unbeknownst to me, a lawyer I was talking with, who is not representing me, also filed a request for my Cfile. Well, last week I was notified of a "partial fulfillment" of a FOIA request. So I downloaded the letter, which was addressed to the lawyer who is not representing me. It gave instructions to download the results of the FOIA request from a website called vaedelivery.gdit.com. Now the letter was addressed to the attorney who is not representing me, not me. But to access the info, one needs to log into the VA.gov website under my account. The ... So that's what I've been doing. More exercise, less junk and sugary food, etc. Taking myo-inositol and berberine daily also (among other supplements) but no luck. Anyway, I was on vacation when my Sri Lankan friend told me to apply castor oil (cold pressed) on my belly from the belly button area and massage in a circular motion from there to around the tummy and lower abdomen, then apply a hot compress after... Survey for Food & Nutrition1h agoHey everyone, could you please take a few minutes to fill out my survey about teen food preferences? It's short and the responses are completely anonymous. Thank you! Link: [https://forms.gle/QugU5my8TMPqnVQ57](https://forms.gle/QugU5my8TMPqnVQ57) First Month on Wegovy1h agoTomorrow I take my third shot. I’ve noticed a huge difference in food noise and getting full quickly, but then some days I feel ravenous. I’m guessing it’s when the **** begins to wear off, does this seem correct? Also, I am getting heartburn all the time. Almost every time after I eat. I think it’s taking me time to get used to how much I can eat and smaller meals. This is a huge change since I always felt hungry and could never tell when I was full, or not until I was way past fullness. Any suggestions on small high protein mini meals would be great. Today I had an egg and heartburn immediately after. I’m not sure I can have a smaller meal than that 😂 First time ko maka receive ng noche buena package 💗1h agoNakakatuwa pala maka receive ng ganito 🥰 as a giver, nakakatuwa maka receive 🥹🥰 Pigging out too much already1h agoThis is the first time in 20 months I’ve been pigging out.. like I want to eat the chair railing off the walls. I particularly pig out on protein bars. I’m right back to my old habits. I’m so disappointed in myself. I have zilch food suppression obviously. I mean I ate 2 boxes of protein bars plus other odds n ends. Like my protein shakes. Brought me right back to where I was at 255lbs. I am so fuc$ing mad. No food suppression like i stated earlier. Perhaps it’s time to titrated up like now. lol. I’m taking 7.5 mg for a couple months now but the food attack came quick n strong. Nothing like it. Not sure what to titrate up too since my cravings ~food noise is extreme. Any one else... My bf's diet triggering my ED habits again2h agoI don't have an ED now but I used to. My bf found out his bmi is higher than the average range and he wants to go on a diet. He skips breakfast and eats bruch instead. He also keeps a track of his food and counts the calories and protein, etc. I've been influenced by this and I try not to count calories or try anything. But I've feeling more guilty about specific food and started eating less overall. I also overate and purged after having a date together. Is it selfish for me to tell my bf not to go on a diet when he wants to lose weight cus of how I get triggered? Was it a good deal? GNC2h agoCopped a 5lb GNC whey at ₹4150/- was it a good deal.
