Hi everyone! I was a member back in 2014-ish and lost (and kept off!!) about 30 lbs back when the points system was very different. So, here I am again after ten years finally ready to lose the last 55 lbs. I’ve yo-yo’ed with other programs over the last decade, with some success, but have never been able to sustain real weight loss like I did on WW and so my return feels like I’m giving my goals a real shot. I am excited! My trouble is I cannot wrap my head around zero point foods for mainly things like chicken, eggs, fish, beans, etc. because I am in tune with their caloric values as a former macro counter. I switched my puppy to Purina Pro Plan Large Breed Lamb & Rice puppy food and he really likes it, but I worry about the moth contamination problems Purina has. I want to switch him to a different brand and wanted to see what you all recommend. I want to stay away from chicken. I’m considering the following puppy foods: Diamond Naturals, Orijen, Taste of the Wild, Nutro, but am open to other brands. I’ve looked at Kirkland puppy food but could only find a chicken formula which I want to avoid.

10 weeks pregnant and had my sweet husband pick me up a chicken bacon ranch toasted sub with a whole pickle from Jimmy John’s, and to top it all off, with a crispy sprite. Except there was one major issue… it’s just not the same without my usual turkey tom. I know some women say to just eat the sub anyway, but I would feel so guilty if I did. My baby is due July 26th and my favorite food I can’t eat for 7 more months (yes I’m aware this is dramatic but just let me have my moment) 😭

my dog just had surgery in his intestine. It is day 3 and he does not want to eat. So we decided to give him plain white rice with baby food, because he did not want to eat the plain rice by itself. The baby food (stage one 4-6 months) only has the ingredients of chicken and chicken broth listed. About 30 years ago, my grandmother and two aunts compiled a lot of unsourced recipes that probably spanned 100 years or more. I'm trying to balance the utility of a cookbook with the fact that I'm starting from an absolute treasure of a family heirloom. So, one option I've considered is to just scan the original book and include it as-is in its own chapter, then include the most usable recipes in the main content with updated instructions and ingredient lists. ...

does anyone else feel extremely anxious over the copious amount of leftovers from the holidays? like my family has an entire load of cinnamon bread, 2 loaves of nut bread, monkey bread, chocolate chip cookies, brownies, buckeyes, peppermint cookies, tons of candy, salad, chicken, mashed potatoes, etc. don't get me wrong, I eat and love all these foods but the amount is what’s stressing me out. like I know half of it will go to waste and I **** food waste and somehow feel like its my job to finish off all of the old food even though I’m a college student headed back to school in 2 weeks.

Me and my mom went to Burlington yesterday and I saw this beautiful Christmas casserole dish for 14.99 and we got it, the problem is she had it on top of stove on the back burner and when she started cooking in the front burner accidentally turned the back burner on. All we hear is a loud noise and my dish is in peace’s.
