looking to add to my tank, and i come across this monstrosity of a review

So, I’m not a first time betta keeper but this is the first time I’ve run into this situation. Just got done with the whole process of setting up a new tank and planned on getting a new one from a reputable aquatics store near me. However, I was at the PetSmart grabbing dog food when one of their bettas caught my eye - he looked so depressed in there and is the most beautiful betta I’ve ever seen. He is a samurai betta with iridescent silver scales and black fins. I knew he wasn’t the healthiest but I wanted to give him a chance. In the tank he made himself right at home and gained so much personality already. Swimming around, ate a little bloodworm, and booped my snails. But ...

I got these two girls from a petsmart 4 months ago and they still won’t let me touch them. I try to give them little snacks and let them lick yogurt off of my fingers whenever I open their cage, but any time I try to pet them or touch them, they bolt. I got them a dig box because it’s good enrichment but I can’t even get them out of their cage to let them use their play area. I know breeder rats are more familiar and comfortable with people, so this might take even longer for my pet store bought rats. What are some good tricks to get them to trust me better? What am I doing wrong?

Normal PetSmart delivery. Large heavy box. DEFINITELY was dog food as I have never seen cat food that large or heavy. Sounded like dog food when moved... But about 20 min after the completed delivery I get this text. I truly think the customer expected it to come not in a box, sent the text before opening the box, and then felt too ****** to reply back saying he opened the box and there was the dog food. What do y'all think?

Since im seeing all the not great setups at other petsmarts, im curious to hear some feedback on my stores setup. I made a compelling argument to upper management at my store to allow me a bit more freedom with the setup than what policy calls for. I would like some genuine feedback especially if there's an area I should change about it.

I’m stuck at register and i need to listen to something different. is there an app or a way to add songs to a queue? i think planet fitness and some other stores do it but idk if petsmart does.

I'm looking to get 3-4 female blue neon or green lantern platys for my new tank, but the only place I can seem to find them locally or online are the big box stores (Petco & Petsmart near me). I'd really prefer not to buy fish there if I can help it. For the record, I've already been looking at Flip Aquatics, Aquatic Arts, Dan's Fish, Imperial Tropicals, Liveaquaria, The Wet Spot, and a few others. Most don't have the color I'm looking for in stock, and the only one that does has a minimum order of 6 unsexed fish. Hello! I'm new to the mantis breeding community and I've been doing tons of research. I have some follow up questions after seeing some mixed answers. I have a Carolina mantis ootheca currently incubating that is expected to hatch any day now, and I tried ordering two separate producing melanogaster flies from Josh's Frogs. But so far, both batches do not seem to be faring transit well due to the massive heatwave in my area, even when I bring the flies in as soon as they are delivered. I have acquired this girl and 5 other otos about 2 years ago and she has already spawned one time almost 1 year ago now (end of July or early August is when i saw first saw the babies). I have at least ~8 or so in there now from what i can count at nights when they are most active, not including this girl. All other otos in this tank from what i can see are behaving normally, including her own babies from last year (since the tank bred seem to hide far less than the wild caught ones). They live in a somewhat heavily planted tank with at least 100 neocaridina (who are also fine). Ok so here’s the story. I’m the closing cashier. Work at Petsmart. We close at 9pm. Group of guys come like 4 minutes before we close. I make the announcement on the intercom that “Hey we close in a few minutes, please bring any items you have for check-out!”. I used to literally type in “Petsmart (insert city) reviews and it took me to the website page where I could see reviews for the store and grooming department. I used to love to look at them and see if anyone gave me a shout out. Now when I type the same thing the website is different and you can’t access the reviews. I also noticed I haven’t gotten reviews on the work computer site in a long time. My coworker said they stopped doing that. Anyone know if there is anyway to still access them? I feel like that’s where all the positive reviews go and all we are left with is the angry reviews from customer who didn’t get the fish they wanted

Yesterday I got a new crested gecko. It’s a juvenile and it’s in a bioactive enclosure. I got this gecko from Petsmart and it seemed very active in the cage, but once I brought it home, i’ve noticed that they have still not ate yet. I am giving them a formulated crested gecko diet when at the store the caretaker mentioned something about taking them out to feed them? Is this something that I’m going to have to do since it is a juvenile, I have a leopard gecko but with him everything was just so easy. UPDATE: From the few comments I have gotten, here and elsewhere, seems that they probably have eaten their yolk and whatever else they were born with (never found any trace of anything in their tank). Seems that the consensus is they probably wont eat till their first shed and after that retry the blended fish pinky pate and possibly earth worms. seems like they probably will not be interested in the roaches, wax worms, or meal worms but if they do eat them that is fine too. Also going to add more clutter to their current terrarium. Just to be thorough with info I already knew from before i got the first 4 is; Stay away from fish with thiaminase or if there is no other option then give them ...

if its not the soill, then what could be P65, the tomato/aloe plant themselves? my thought was if anything, the STICKERs themselves but yea, they have to have stickers nowadays cuz Eco Alliance will go after them. this reminds me of the auditors going around to fine stores. although every HD or Lowes or Petsmart manager I asked about any fines for their playing music at their stores, said they never heard of getting any.. so far!

Customer here, just placed a same day order through PetSmart app. Wasn’t paying much attention honestly, ordered enzyme cleaner whilst cleaning up my dogs mess, otherwise i would have paid more attention. Place the order, no delivery fee so i just hit the highest tip option and sent the order through. I think it was only like $2 because it was a small order, is that the only pay my driver will receive? I don’t have cash aside from quarters or know how to contact them. Its 1.9 miles from the store to my house so its not like super far but i feel like i just unknowingly took advantage of someone. I don’t see an option to change the tip amount.
