Hello I have a 20 pound jack Russell papplions mix. Hes a healthy weight. However hes on 1/2 a cup of dog chow a day and irs only 200 calories he's getting. He's had bloodwork and nothing is wrong he just gaines very early. Even if I was to give him 1 cup a day he would gain weight. My question is. What other food would be better for him ? I was looking at a few things but I am limited as I dont get chewy here and petsmart is far from me. Im a groomer for petsmart and I found out recently that I am pregnant. Immediately after I found out I went to my doctor to get a 20 lb weight restriction which I brought into work the same day. Maybe some of you can shine some light on this. Got a dumbo and a turquoise from PetSmart. They were from two different tanks. Got them home and floated the bag in the tank, came back 15 minutes later and both are dead. Brought them back and got two replacements. Floated the bag and they were still swimming fine. Netted them into the tank, which already has guppies in it by the way, and within a few minutes both are dead at the bottom of the tank. I'm confused as **** here. part rant part question The only pet store near me that sells dubia roaches is kind of shady… the dubias look healthy, the owner feeds them pretty well and i dont get a lot of ones that die. I need to replace my guys UVB bulb and I found out the ones I was using aren't great- I was going to use the Thrive 5.0 13w but I heard that they don't have much output of UVB, and the one I was just using was too strong I think- the Exo Terra UVB 150 26w. I don't really have any reptile stores near me- just the basic pet stores like Paulmacs and Petsmart. His current set up is with a double dome light, which is why I was using the coiled bulbs. His basking area is the Penn-Plax Reptology basking area that sits on top of the tank. Does anyone have an suggestions on (preferably) a good, compact/coiled UVB bulb I can get him? Our four year old daughter has been asking for a fish for the past few months. My husband and I have been casually researching supplies and so on, as we both had fish when we were younger but it’s been a little while. We decided to go “price it out” today… aaaand decided to save this little girl! (At least, the cup said female lol) Our daughter picked her out, and the employee at the store helped up pick out all of the things he recommended for getting started. And before we’d even left the store, our daughter decided her name would be Strawberry. So, here she is! I hope she has a long and happy life with us. And hey, anything is better than a life in a tiny cup at Petsmart.

the closest pet store to me is petsmart, and they dont have a (in my opinion) good selection of live plants that are beneficial to bettas. where do you guys buy your plants? also on a different note, what's the best way to change a filter? I do not own a dog, but I do have fish and other pets. Because of that, I am bombarded with Petco, PetSmart, and other pet store ads that feature dogs and their food. And whenever a dog food commercial pops up, I have to prepare to mute the volume or click off the ad because they will play the dog eating, slobbering, and gross munching on kibble. I **** the sounds dogs make when they eat, it's so wet and sloppy. But I must be in the minority because every pet food commercial has these nasty sounds + The dog panting. OK, so someone explained the logic to me. PetSmart in our area gets aquatic shipments today. Went a couple towns over because it’s generally a bigger store, but their shipment today only had one bag of 12 guppies that she was literally taking out of the box when I arrived. I asked if I could buy the entire bag, she checked that there were none dead, or looking like they would die, and I bought all 12 still in the shipment bag.
