Hi all! We adopted our rescue pup in July this year. She’s a mix of nine breeds according to embark, all about in equal proportion and she’s about a year old. She’s just under 20 pounds. She was a stray from the southern US and she’s come a long way with some things, but she’s still having trouble in the car and house when she’s startled. She’s never snapped or anything, but she will growl. The most concerning thing is that if my husband walks into the house/room with a tool bag or backpack, she’ll growl and is clearly scared. Once she realizes it’s him, she’s 100% fine. She LOVES him and is so excited when he gets home, cuddles him, plays with him, etc. but it’s like...

I see my hoggie trying to climb a cave that he has. It’s a tall, hollow “rock” cave. Standard from the pet store. He seems to really like smaller tighter spaces as he likes to wedge himself between the back of the rock enclosure and the glass. It seems like he’s climbing it looking to wedge himself in a smaller cave that doesn’t exist up there. I’m looking to home make him a hiding cave since I can’t find what I’m looking for online. Any suggestions for material? Or rather suggestions for materials to avoid? I’m looking to make a similar cave but with some other caves in it, like a rock cave bunk bed almost. Thanks!

So I went to a corporate pet store today and found a mid-large size parrot that had been in the store since last year. Small cage, nothing but seed in dish, no wood perches, etc. Worst part was food and other store items piled on top of her to the point where I thought the cage was for sale. I wouldn’t ever willingly buy a bird from a pet store as I know it does nothing but support the bird farm they came from, but in this case I’m torn. She was puffed up and didn’t look the best, but that’s hard to gauge from one time seeing them. What are my options?

I started importing both cheap and expensive flowers to sell in my gift shop, and I already have the shelf set up. Hello all - I want to offer a simple suggestion that might help make shipbuilding easier on the inventory. Admittedly, I am coming from the UIM perspective here, where shipbuilding seems to be nearly impossible without having to deathpile. While I fully understand that UIMs signed up for a restricted experience, the VAST majority of content in this game is totally doable with simple inventory management. Even with POHs, you can build a nice house with pretty much every addition without having to clear your inventory. However, with shipbuilding, that is not the case. This is a follow up to a post I made last week concerning what the hive mind's milk is. Perhaps it is a bit anticlimactic but I am pretty sure that what Carol saw under the tarp was either human bones or butchered corpses. I believe this because I think: The hive mind is recycling the dead through alkaline hydrolosis (also known as resomation or water cremation). This is a process which breaks down corpses, leaving only bones and a tea coloured oily liquid which contains sugars, amino acids, salt and peptides. Supporting evidence: 1.
