Saw a Papa John’s Pizza Semi the other day and the Freightliner pulling the trailer had a sleeper which got me wondering - for food delivery companies that run sleepers do the trucks make a number of stops across a certain part of the state before returning back to the warehouse to reload which might find drivers needing to sleep in the truck while making deliveries?

I'm an 18 year old girl and all I even am trying to do is get a part time serving job but even that has been impossible so I've turned to fast food back of house work and they won't even hire me. Like what am I even supposed to do, I've applied to 20+ jobs since my last job and if I don't get one soon I won't be able to move out when planned and I will have to take a gap year which personally just is not the move. I am a newer assistant manager. I worked for papa John's as a driver 7 yrs ago. The store I work at is like walking into a continuous frat party. The GM is new and has been there since August. Starting from the top, employees are continously smoking pot on the clock. The office is a break room that the employees hang out at on their phones on the clock and it smells like a dispensary. They make whatever food they want without paying for it because at the end of the quarter they skimp on cheese for customers orders to make up for the food costs of employees eating food on every shift they work. Like the other day I saw that Papa John’s offers 50% offers the day after the lightnings win. I did it and it’s legit! Then today I saw that Wendy’s give a free burger for scoring 4 goals and now I saw that Culver’s give free cheese curds for scoring in the third period. So, do you use them? I’m trying to figure out what caused a full-body rash I developed this week. I went to urgent care, but even the doctor wasn’t sure whether it was food-related or environmental, so I’m hoping someone here might have experience with something similar. Here’s what happened. Last Saturday, I ate ice cream on a date, and nothing happened that night. No rash, no itching, so I don’t think the ice cream caused anything. Is anyone experiencing an uptick, like MAJOR uptick in your Amazon and other deliveries going to the wrong buildings? Or even being stolen by drivers? It seems like every week, my packages get left at the wrong apartment or something happens in transit, etc. I have the instructions for building entry/keypad info clearly listed but the drivers never read it. My guess is it’s a combo of English comprehension, pressure to deliver as fast as possible to maximize profits and a lack of common sense. I’m sure they’re pressured to move as quickly as possible and probably don’t make much from deliveries but wouldn’t it benefit them to do their diligence so I’m more inclined to tip more? ...

Yesterday I hadn’t eat in 24 hours and made a poor impulse purchase of a papa johns pizza, well after finishing it my stomach immediately felt funny so my roommate suggested I take baking soda and mix it in water. They offered to do it for me and they put in 2 teaspoons in a half a glass of water. Not all of the baking soda dissolved in the water and I only drank about 90% of it. At first it calmed my stomach but since the first time I urinated it was cloudy, apparently because it alkalized it. Hi all, I’ve been in the ER all day. Currently getting diagnosed with bertolottis syndrome and it’s quite the miserable process. Having trouble working and waiting on benefits (hopefully soon). I also plan on visiting the food banks tomorrow if I can make it out but there is nothing open now and I, regrettably, have no food in the house and no bones in the bank. I have been here for a few months and…. The job market is terrible. My car won’t make it off the island long enough to commit to a job too far away. I’ve applied to everywhere entry level I can think of, got a small handful of interviews, a couple follow-up’s and ultimately nothing. Im really struggling with recovery right now. I’ve been experiencing extreme hunger and have been constantly eating + gaining. My roommate just got home to me laying on the floor recovering from eating a ton of cookies. He knows about my eating disorder, we talked about it 2 weeks ago.
