I’ve probably ranted a million times on this subreddit about GW dining, but I’ve kind of had it with them this time around and year. Today, Shenkman advertised “hush puppies” for their already limited weekend selections. Knowing the state of GW dining, I took the risk and used a swipe, only to find out after biting into them that the “hush puppies” were actually frozen fish sticks. The menu did not list fish as one of the ingredients, and this legitimately could be hazardous to some people and those who do not eat seafood. I've posted here under another username in the past about a trip we did to Corpus Christi and it was well-received here, so I'm bringing this most recent one. We took a roadtrip from Austin to Alpine to see the Big Bend region and the Davis Mountains. I am at UH five days a week, and have been on this schedule for quite a long time. It's a hassle to meal prep 24/7, so I'll sometimes spend a week scrounging on campus. I don't really like meat, so one of the things I like to get is the Burger Joint queso fries as it's vegetarian. However, I've been noticing an inconsistency with their queso.
