LULU has been this oversold 3 other times in the last 2 years. None of those worked out. A person could try bottom fishing but it didn't work out in the past. $75 in-store gift card no longer works. They’ve upped the ante to $50 increments so either purchase $50 or $100 and front $25 to commit to Lululemon. Or just buy in-store items with plat. Anybody else around nyc experience this or not?

I was browsing through poshmark and there are some new buttercream items with very inflated prices. I’m aware the buttercream drop was limited, but just curious if resellers are an issue with lulu? Should I be paying attention to trying to grab new drops every Tuesday? Are there certain colors like buttercream that sell out fast and/or get resold?

I came across a local thrift store that is offering $4 average COG on their leftover unsold inventory from current styles. See brands below. This thrift store has about 500 - 2,000 items/month. The apparel items are a mix of categories for both men and women. They want me to buy all or nothing, without reviewing the items individually. Currently, I'm doing all of my sourcing at the Goodwill bins. The average COG is $2 and I can hand pick everything, but it takes a lot of time and styles are always outdated. I've been looking at a lot of Shopify 7-figure DTC product pages lately and noticed a pattern. The stores that actually move AOV don't use pop-up upsells. They don't use slide-ins.
