Short girl jeans from teens sections - some recommendations from me :)

5h ago

Recommending some jeans / trousers from the teens section if anyone else has shorter legs. A I am a size 8, 5'3". With a fairly flat *** and slim hips. I looked at the size guides and just ordered a bunch to try on. And they all have the adjustors in the waistband which I feel give you a size up / down. Hey everyone, I’m the developer of **ListnPlan**. After hitting 200k users and a 4.6-star rating, I heard the feedback loud and clear: people are over "subscription fatigue." I’ve decided to move away from the sub model. To celebrate the update, I’m dropping the Lifetime Pro price from **$39.99 to $2.99** until the 20th of this month. **What the app does (it’s an all-in-one lifestyle tool):** * **Smart Shopping:** List with a built-in price calculator and tracking. * **Kitchen Management:** A pantry tracker so you stop rebuying stuff you already have. * **Health & Wellness:** Meal planner (with calorie tracker), water tracking, and weight/BMI insights. * *...

ETB online drops

1d ago

Hey I’m a bit new to this so any insight would be helpful! I’ve seen a few mentions of stores restocking online on Friday what are my chances of grabbing an etb this way (especially given all the canceled orders) Alternatively, if I was able to go in person how early would I need to be and which store is recommended? I’ve got a Big W and Kmart (opening at 8) and a Target (opening at 9) all in one place. Any advice is much appreciated!! 😊

I've been obese most of my life, and big enough to not fit on anything from regular shops since I was a teen. For the longest time I've had to go to big and tall men's stores to get clothing for me. Particularly once I ballooned up to 8XL. Looking back, even they were probably not big enough at times, but I could barely stomach trying anything bigger. I'm a regular here so I won't rehash my while story here but I just wanted to share this part of it as while I'm not a particularly emotional guy, this was a massive turning point for me. Being sequestered to big and tall shops is a very "othering" experience. It made me feel less than if I'm per...

*(Author's Note: I know I'm a bit late to the party with this one. Based on the MeatCanyon video about retail stores giving up on Halloween. Any constructive criticism is appreciated).* Isaac couldn’t believe how much his life had changed since moving to the big city… and all for the better! For the first time in his young life he had friends who weren’t just sitting on the other side of a computer screen somewhere. Real, flesh-and-blood friends he could see and speak to… and touch! Friends to whom he could whisper confidences and explore boundaries. Finally, he could walk through life being wholly and unapologetically *himself* and all for one simple reason – anonymit...

Hello everyone, I'm just here to share my descent into insanity about travel shoes that completely negates the whole ‘it saves time’ justification for onebagging haha. Please enjoy! I’m going to Europe for 2 months in June and July, and will be doing a LOT of walking, including day hikes, multi-day hikes and long walks exploring cities on foot. The shoes I was choosing needed to work for the following scenarios: * Overnight hikes in Scotland and Switzerland * Day hikes in Greece and Italy * Long touristy city days, possibly in very hot weather * Beach, hostel showers * Dressy...ish And if you're just here for what I decided, the winners are: * Merrell Moab 3 hiking shoes ...

part five

3d ago

I listened as the Trans Am’s engine roared, the sound fading as he sped out of the parking lot. Once I felt certain he was gone, I cautiously went downstairs and called 911, my voice trembling as I explained what had happened. Within minutes, four police cars pulled up to my house. Two officers remained outside while the other two entered to make sure RPA was no longer inside and to hear my account of the incident. I recounted the fight and how the gun had come into play, my eyes drawn repeatedly to the bullet hole in the drywall. The officers asked whether RPA had left on foot or by car, and I described the make and model of the Trans Am. They questioned whether he still had the gun and ...

Kmart is a joke

3d ago

My store got 21 tech sticker packs today. Managed to arrive just on 8am after getting the kids to daycare. There were like 10 people waiting outside for the store to open so I thought I'd definitely be able to get something. We line up, a couple goes to the counter and the Kmart employee says they can only get 5 because they are together. Another lady says they weren't, then all 3 of them buy 5 each. The next guy gets 5 so now there's only 1 left. I'm about 5 people away from the counter so there's no chance of me getting one. I walk out and all 3 of the first people are getting into the same car.

Not receiving refunds for online purchases

3d ago

Hi everyone, Is anyone having trouble with receiving their refunds from Kmart? A couple of months ago I bought something as a click and collect and it didn’t fit, so I went to return it in store and was told it would take a few days to go back into my bank account as I paid with PayPal. Well it took me weeks of chasing them up with emails for them to finally refund me to my bank, and if I hadn’t followed it up then I would’ve probably never gotten my money back. Last week I placed another click and collect for 4 items (again paid with PayPal) but two of those items were “refunded” for being out of stock. I have received the refund for one of those items back in my bank account ...

Going the night before a drop

Hi, I heard that retail stores such as Kmart, target etc start selling the night before the drop because they set everything up the night before. Just wondering if people have tried this and whether it is true or not

Aussies - which cereal box holders fit filament

4d ago

I’ve seen the most common way of storing unused filament is in cereal boxes with the silicone things. Do any fellow Aussies know which fit a standard 1kg roll? Kmart, ikea, reject shop etc. preferably cheap because I need to buy 11. Just wanna know if anyone knows any that fit before I buy some to try and possibly have to return them. THANKSSSS
