Hello, I arrived in the Netherlands around 10 days ago from India to pursue my Master's. Since all my chargers and appliances have Type D plugs, I've brought along a travel adapter to use in my dorm room. While appliances such as my electric kettle operate fine, I've noticed an issue with my laptop and mobile chargers. While they charge normally, sparks are emitted from the sockets in my room when I insert the travel adapter. This has made me scared of getting a shock at any random time.
