Men fashion guide42d agoDear Indian men, it’s time we had ‘the talk’, not about feelings (relax... It's not like anyone understands us anyway), but about fashion. So over the course of the last few years I've put together a guide to help my fellow brethren. But remember this is a 'guide' not an absolute. This guide is divided into 6 parts: 1. What colours look good on you? 2. What fabric/material to wear? 3. What should be the fitting? 4. How do I coordinate outfits? 5. What should be in my wardrobe/what go shop for? 6. Where to go? --- ### Part 1: What colours look good on you? Bro, we’ve all been there. You see a model in a clean white tee and think, “Bas, yahi look chahi... Flipkart to Exit ABFRL with ₹600 Cr Deal48d agoFlipkart (owned by Walmart) is selling its remaining 6% stake in Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail (ABFRL) through a ₹600 crore block deal, managed by Goldman Sachs. Once complete, Flipkart will fully exit ABFRL. In 2020, Flipkart invested ₹1,500 crore to acquire 7.8% stake in ABFRL. The goal: strengthen its fashion play by expanding premium brand offerings and boosting ABFRL’s online reach through omnichannel integration. Why they Exit Now? 🤔 Sources say this was always a B2B partnership. Flipkart is now shifting focus and exiting as part of its strategy reset. Impact on ABFRL 🛑 ABFRL is India’s top fashion retailers, it owns Pantaloons, Van Heusen, and Allen Solly, and... List of things we don't need our lives108d agoRecently there has began a new trend of deinfluencers, who tell you the kind of things you don't need to buy. I love this kind of content because social media is full of ads, people trying to sell us stuff. So it's nice when you are reminded every now and then that you don't need that thing. So here is my list of things I want to deinfluence people: 1. Fancy Skincare - no need to buy expensive serums and creams. Very few people need those and it's for people with extreme skin conditions. If you have a normal skin just moisturize, use sunscreen and vaseline. That's it. And keep boronil for skin burns, cuts, cracks etc. You don't need more than that 2. Makeup- ... Are DCB / Infinia / Atlas worth it if I have no interest in luxury hotel & flight discounts?419d agoAs the title says, I see a lot of these luxury card posts, and while I do meet the eligibility criteria, at least for DCB, I could not find any benefit other than Marriot, Vistara, Taj, etc. or reward points for these same things. Mid/plus size women shopping in India529d agoI (24F) am a plus/mid size woman. I moved to Canada for studies six years ago and so it’s been a while that I have shopped for casual clothes in India. I usually wear a L-XL and 34-36 for pants in Canada. I am currently in India, visiting my parents and last week my mom and me went shopping at a mall and went to the usual stores Pantaloons, shoppers stop, H&M, Lifestyle. I think the sizing is different. The tops ran a bit small but I was still able to find some good tops but jeans were so hard to find. I tried the sizes that I wore in Canada but even 36 was sometimes tight. I am not sure if I’m shopping at the wrong places or this was just an isolated incident. Maybe next time ...
