Dupe of Forest Essentials Amrita/ Nargis2d agoYes! This Fabessential perfume oil and FE Amrita smells identical. I recently tried some perfumes at the FE outlet near me. Amrita being their most popular offering, I tried it first. I couldn't help but connect both of these fragrances together upon smelling the tester strip. Same floral opening, same drydown. I don't know about the longevity of the FE one but the FabIndia roll on lasts decent amount of time. I apply it over clothes. Also, to those who are interested, I also tested Forest Essentials Chaandni Raatein. It's a luxurious smelling Indian floral perfume dominated by Jasmine. Y'all should check that one out. I'm looking for block-printed kurta store in KL24d agoHi there! I’m traveling from Tokyo to Kuala Lumpur in a few days and I’m hoping to buy a block-printed kurta from India while I’m there. Could anyone recommend a good place to shop? I’m looking for something simple and comfortable for everyday summer wear — not the bright, heavily embroidered party-style kurtas. I like kurtas like the one in the photo. I’m planning to check out Fabindia, but I’d love to visit some other shops too if you have any suggestions. Thanks in advance! Machine washable ethnic wear - Bengaluru or Online31d agoHi TwoXers of India! I’m a middle aged NRI woman visiting Bengaluru for the first time , looking to buy some ethnic wear locally and coming to the slow realization that an oxymoron like machine-washable + needs no ironing + good quality and elegant ethnic wear - likely does not exist . Prove me wrong, please! I have enough cotton and linen Kurtis already and I don’t have much occasions to wear and deal with the care of high quality cotton - so I’m not quite looking to shop in FabIndia type places. OTOH I’m not into the bedazzle and sequins and beads type stuff anymore so would like to avoid those as well. I’m ok with thick cotton blends, other rayon/ polyester stuff if the loop... Have the lefties lost it completely?57d agoIs it just me, or have the Leftists and the so-called progressives in this country completely lost the plot? We just saw two incredibly successful operation, Operation Sindoor, where our armed forces surgically wiped out terror camps across the border, and Operation Black Forest, where CRPF and local police dismantled an entire Maoist stronghold that’s been festering for decades. And what do these self-titled "champions of human rights" do? First, they’re foaming at the mouth over "lack of transparency" in Operation Sindoor. Seriously? It was a precision military strike on foreign soil. You want the government to hold a press conference with a casualty list and a d... Kitty companions, where are you buying sisal rope cat trees or hammocks from?82d agoI see a promising, well-priced, cute-looking "sisal" cat tree, but it's actually jute hiding in disguise. As a human, I have jute bags and jute clothes (I'm stanning here: been wearing the same jute kurti from FabIndia since 2013. Side note: you notice how they don't make long lasting clothes anymore?). **I'm not anti-jute.** But, my cats with a jute anything is money down the drain. Any jute scratching post gets worn out within months if not weeks. The only time I bought a genuine sisal cat tree hammock was via Flipkart and they've stopped selling it. I've had that one since 2018, and it's just now showing signs of distress despite multiple... any discount available on this FabIndia saree?130d agoHoli Special - Mrinmoy: Revisited | The Great Bengali Reset131d agoKolkata, **Sunday, 3:37 PM.** Mrinmoy, **30, exhausted, over-caffeinated**, sits across from a **potential bride** and her family at *Flurys*. Exploring Co-ops: What is your Recommendations for Regional Handloom and Crafts?206d agoI’ve been a long-time fan of shopping from co-operatives like Co-optex (from TN) and Khadi (pan-india). Over the years, I’ve grown to truly appreciate the quality, affordability, and cultural richness of the products I buy from these co-operatives. It feels great to know that my purchases support small-scale producers, which, to me, feels more wholesome compared to larger commercial outlets like FabIndia (just my perspective—no judgment toward others who shop elsewhere!). I’d love to expand my horizons and explore co-op products from other parts of India, like Boyanika, Jharcraft, or Tantuja (simply googled them, I've never shopped or visited any of them). If you’ve shopped f... Mojaris for men in Kochi.224d agoHi guys! Any idea where can I find such mojaris in Kochi? Looking for something to be styled with Kurta-Pyjama combo for a close friend’s wedding. The ones available on Myntra, Amazon, Flipkart will all take at-least 6 days for the delivery. The wedding is on Saturday. Don’t have the bandwidth to go to broadway (from Kakkanad) as I’m caught up with multiple things. Guess FabIndia is an option. Any other local vendor options would be really handy. Thanks in advance! Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
