Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Airtel Stores Latest Community Discussions About Airtel StoreCell service expiration2d agoIt looks like a foreign tourist in India is required to apply for a new SIM card if he/she intends to stay longer than 90 days in India. For some reason the message has 1 January 2026, my service activation date, as the service termination date. Per the calendar, the termination date will be 31 March, meaning that I will apply for a Jio SIM card on 25 March when my current recharge expires. Samsung Galaxy S25 incoming/SMS issues23d agoHi, I have a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra from India. I've been facing the following issues in last 5 days 1. Bank SMS OTP not coming/coming late or only coming after airplane mode is turned on/off 2. Anyone trying to call me is getting number not reachable/switched off frequently. This is happening 9 out of 10 times, again this issue gets resolved once I put phone on airplane mode and return back to normal Outgoing calls and 5G internet working perfectly alright Have tried all normal processes of turning phone off/on, resetting networking etc. I even visited Airtel Store, but they were like this is a Samsung S Series issue. Phone doesn't accept phone calls on 2G or something like t... My Airtel SIM is Suddenly showing “No Signal”and The Store is Saying It’s Registered to Someone , is there Any W...27d agoHi everyone, About 2–3 days ago, my Airtel SIM suddenly started showing “No Signal”, even though it was recharged and still had around 20 days left before expiry. I’ve been using this SIM for the last 4–5 years. It was originally an extra SIM in my household, which I later started using as my primary number. Around a year ago, my brother checked how many SIMs were linked to our family’s Aadhaar using some government website/app (he doesn’t remember which one now). At that time, this number was correctly showing under either my mother’s Aadhaar or mine (not sure exactly whose). Fast forward to today , I visited an Airtel store, and they told me that this SIM is apparently r... Airtel deactivated NRI's number after MNP, now at risk of losing 16 years old number.70d agoI ported my number from Reliance Jio (postpaid) to Airtel (prepaid). During porting, the Airtel representative explicitly told me that porting only happens once all outstanding bills are cleared. Based on that, I believed everything was settled. Later, Airtel claimed there was an overdue amount of around INR 300 with Jio. This appears to be the postpaid bill for a few days after porting. Once the number was ported, Jio could no longer fetch my bill using the mobile number. Payment was possible only via the Jio account number, which I was not aware of at the time. As soon as I learned this, I paid the amount in full. There are no pending dues now, and I have the transaction ID and proof. D... Need Help: Airtel Returned Number – Postpaid to Prepaid/Porting Questions94d agoHi, I’m an NRI living outside India. My Indian number was a Jio prepaid SIM that I had originally ported from Airtel years ago. About 6 months ago, my wife (who lives in India) forgot to recharge it, and the number was released by Jio and returned to Airtel. When she visited the Airtel store, they told her that I can get the same number back only as a postpaid connection. What I need to know is: Once I take the postpaid connection, is there any minimum waiting period before I can port the number to another service provider? Is there a minimum waiting period before I can convert that postpaid SIM back to prepaid within Airtel? I'm travelling to india for a 2 months vacation next w... Worst IR experience99d agoHi all, I stay out of india. Long story short : its been more than a month, my IR is so shiitty. 4g data works but call/sms , nope. Yesterday it worked for 30 min. I generated otp as well, then again it stopped today. One of my relatives went to the airtel store back in India, and the customer support executive said “ take sim on her behalf “ . I mean wtf? Data is clearly working so its not a sim issue. I have tried everything this ****** helpline chatbot suggests. I have also tried placing sim in different phone. I have also recharged ( normal prepaid local + IR more + IR sms rs. 98 pack + talktime 99 pack) Non of it works. Should I switch to jio? Please help. How to get my old airtel sim number back - lost due to a missed recharge110d agoI've been in the US for about 10 years now. I forgot to recharge my mobile number this year and unfortunately lost the number. This number is attached to all my bank accounts in India. I've asked my father to reach out to the nearest Airtel store to get this fixed. Being remote residents (in districts, instead of metropolitan), they asked us to get this resolved in Hyderabad (this being our nearest city). Fortunately, it's not assigned to anyone else. I need to get this number back at any cost. I would like to know how to reclaim my old sim number. You have to visit an Airtel store in India.” 😩 Not exactly helpful when you’re on another continent. After a lot of trial and error, I finally figured out a process that **actually works** — no Airtel store visit required, even if you’re on international roaming. # ✅ What you’ll need: * An **active Airtel eSIM** on your old phone * Your **registered email ID** linked ... 📱 Airtel eSIM to eSIM Transfer for NRIs (Android → Android) — Finally Found a Working Process!114d agohttps://preview.redd.it/ovzgcj8boc0g1.png?width=806&format=png&auto=webp&s=e2f61b2ee646eeda77e56f6e8a6897e25acdfc2a If you’re an NRI living abroad (like in the US) and trying to move your Airtel eSIM from one Android phone to another, you’ve probably hit this screen: >“Contact your service provider” And when you contact Airtel support, they’ll likely tell you: >“There’s no process for that. Need help finding Marathahalli bus boarding point (Near airtel showroom)155d agoHi all, I booked a bus ticket from Marathahalli to Mangalore for my mom, and the boarding point on the ticket says “Marathahalli, near Airtel showroom”. I’m a bit confused, is this the one opposite Kalamandir? If anyone here has taken a Mangalore/Udupi bus from Marathahalli, could you please confirm the exact spot? Even better if you could share a Google Maps location/pin of where the buses usually stop. Would be super helpful 🙏 Google Pixel 9 - Airtel Sim not working155d agoHello. So I got a Google pixel 9 for my dad in the UAE and now he is in India. Airtel SIM card doesn’t work on the device but the Jio sim works just fine. He went to the Airtel store and they told him that he needs to go to the Google service centre to unlock the device for Airtel, and he needs an invoice for the device. Here’s the problem, we don’t have an official invoice as the device was purchased through an unofficial channel, though authentic and proper official sealed device, hence no official invoice or purchase receipt available. What can I now do to help unlock the Airtel sim to work on the phone? I want a eSIM for this prepaid number. I have been attempting converting physical sim to esim for almost 14 days but of no success. The Airtel Stores inform that there is a "Network Issue" only for "Prepaid Cards" and they are not aware as to when the issue will be sorted out. Are there any one facing this type of issue and the steps they have taken to convert to eSIM. I took up with Apple India for eSIMs only iPhones and they cagegorically informed that the Carrier Airtel is at fault and there are Pan India Complaints since 15 to 20 days and they are yet to be resolved by Airtel. Jio on the other hand works seemles... Suffering due to Airtel prepaid connection184d agoAbout 14 years ago, I was in Bengal for my studies and bought a prepaid Airtel number. It worked fine all these years. Last month, however, my mobile suddenly stopped receiving any signal. When I contacted customer care, they informed me that the issue is due to pending KYC requirements and that I need to visit an Airtel Store to resolve it. Here’s the problem: I now live outside India, and my family is in Haryana. The Airtel Store in Haryana says they cannot process KYC for SIMs that were originally purchased in West Bengal. Can someone please suggest a solution? I am willing to give a decent treat if somebody can go to Airtel Store on my behalf. Need help: Converting Airtel SIM to eSIM from Canada — anyone done this recently?185d agoI’m currently in Canada and my Airtel physical SIM got damaged. My wife in India managed to get a replacement SIM for me. Now I want to convert this SIM into an eSIM while I’m in Canada. When she checked with the Airtel store manager, they told her that Airtel stopped using the QR code process for eSIM activation about a year ago, so it’s not possible anymore. However, I’ve seen people mention recently that they were still able to complete the eSIM conversion using the QR code method. Can anyone confirm if Airtel’s eSIM QR code process is still working as of now? Has anyone here successfully converted their physical SIM to eSIM in the last few months? If yes, could you please sh... Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
