Airtel Store Locations

Has anyone in Airtel Family plan ported out of it. I have a 699 ie 2 sim Family plan and I want to port out . I had asked thier Customer Care and they told me I have necessarily go to thier Airtel store which aren't even present in small cities . I am an office going person and I wouldn't have time to go to Airtel Store in a Working day that too something located more than 10kms from my residence that too in busy lane. The network here in Western and southern India of Airtel is **** . Can't depend on single network Provider.

I am an NRI and my Airtel number is almost 10 years old. I have been getting SMS for reverification and for some reason I didn't get OTP no matter how many times I tried. I have my phone number linked with everything, It's impossible for me to get a new number atm. I can't go back to India either atm, I don't know what to do at this point to enable my sim back, my number has been out of service for 2 days now. I asked my family for help, they went to Airtel store where they mentioned that I need to go there to activate my sim. Ridiculous.

My airtel SIM has been deactivated - because I moved overseas and the auto pay UPI mandate didn't work. I paid manually, immediately BEFORE the deactivation and got money deducted, then refunded, and airtel cancelled my SIM saying I didn't pay my bill. All the while i went back and forth with the customer care team - i WANTED to pay and was READY to pay, but nothing went through. Hi, I had an Airtel black connection which included my postpaid number as well as home internet. I had used Airtel thanks app to disconnect my home internet but in the process the postpaid number also got disconnected on 18th Feb 2025. The number is of KA circle and when my relative tried to visit an Airtel store in Delhi, they said that we need to go to KA to get it activated but in KA Airtel store they told me to come personally to get it activated as it is in my name. Is there any way I can get that number back ? as I can't travel to India as I am outside right now.

Folks, I'm an NRI and since the sim card was on my Dad's name in VI, in my last trip to India I moved the Airtel Sim on my name, however, this was only possible with postpaid. Now that I'm about to finish 90 days on postpaid and now that I'm not in India, would anyone know if I can move from postpaid to prepaid via the Airtel app. There used to be a "Transfer to prepaid" section in the Airtel app, which is not available at the moment. Even if I manage to move it to prepaid, some people say that the first recharge after move to prepaid needs to be done at the Airtel store ? Is this correct info, can't the first recharge be done online ?

I have an indian phone number from Airtel that is an esim and I want to move that esim to a new phone. How do you do that when physically not present in India and dont have an airtel store nearby? I am asking this because I did this for my dad's esim when I bought a new phone for him but we needed to go to Airtel store to transfer that esim from older iPhone to a new one. If I dont have an airtel store nearby, is there a way to do while overseas?

Greetings subreddit, I lost access to my eSIM while traveling abroad. I signed a NOC letter, emailed it to the Airtel store rep and my dad, back in India, was able to procure a physical SIM of the same number. Question is if I get my dad to send the `ESIMQR` SMS from a phone with the physical SIM inserted sitting in India, can I scan the QR while abroad to activate that number on my phone? The Airtel store rep claims that it won't be possible, but I'm trying to understand why that could be the case. Would the e-SIM transfer process be geographically locked? That is, if the request was initiated within India, the e-SIM needs to be activated within India? Thanks!

Hello, I'll be travelling to India soon by intl flight and I have around 10 hours of layover before I can take my domestic flight. I want to buy a SIM at the Airtel store at the airport, do I have to exit the airport for that, and is that possible? I have an OCI. I have bags checked in from my original destination. I don’t even stay in India, recently my phone number got logged out from all apps and bank app and i have to visit the Airtel store to get it all fixed, i am not able to do any payment in India. Not even my monthly Slice bill, they have already added some 100₹/day late fee since 7th. What happens if i am not able to pay for couple of months or if, i don’t pay at all(this one just for knowledge)
