Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Imperfect Foods Latest Community Discussions About IKEACooking healthy is more difficult for some than others1h agoIve been traveling a lot over the years and only when i started cooking myself i realized how difficult it is to cook healthy in some countries. In Germany you can buy all sorts of food basically everywhere, fresh and unprocessed. When i went to other countries like spain, USA, france and GB i realized how many Groceries have some sort of wierd stuff in them. Basically everything in the US or in Spain contains sugar. Even when its just something like passata which is just blended Tomatoes. its crazy how difficult it is to find stuff that has no added sugars, is unprocessed and fresh in some countries. Keep this in mind when you read about that stuff online. Some countries have it more ... I stopped trying to fix myself and focused on fixing the plan1h agoFor a long time I believed the problem was me I thought I lacked discipline I thought I was too emotional with food I thought I just was not strong enough Every time I slipped I promised I would be stricter next time I would track perfectly eat clean follow the plan exactly And every time I burned out It was not because I did not care It was because the plan only worked when life was calm and my life is not calm There are stressful days busy weeks low energy moments and sometimes I just do not have 100 percent to give What used to happen was simple If I could not do it perfectly I would stop completely That was the real pattern Recently I read something that explained this in a way that made... potential legal dispute over cats2h agolocation: massachusetts, usa hi there, and i was hoping to get some advice on this matter. i know nothing about civil/property law and google can only tell me so much. i have two 4 year old cats. they were originally bought as family pets, but when i moved into my grandmother’s house 3 years ago, my mom agreed that i should take them with me. my partner (now ex - but we are still great friends) and i have financially supported them and cared for them for the last three years. we paid for their food, their vet bills, etc. i moved to a different part of the state a couple weeks ago and my grandma agreed that i should take the cats with me. i had them both registered as my emotional suppo... Diet Questions!2h agoI've had my little fellas for a while, but due to annoying tariff stuff (I live in canada), some bird food I've otherwise used is unavailable. I've been mixing pellets (Zupreem Natural for small birds) with the Wild Harvest Advanced Nutrition (I'll add a photo above). Ive been going back and forth on making chop; do I really have to also make chop if I'm also giving them raw veggies straight up? (ie, carrot slices, spinach, broccoli, etc) Mardi Gras Travel Guide 20263h agoMardi Gras (Fat Tuesday) is one of the world’s biggest and most exciting festivals. It marks the last day of celebration before Lent and is famous for parades, costumes, music, street parties, and amazing food. Mardi Gras 2026 falls on February 17, but celebrations start weeks before the main day. The best place to experience Mardi Gras is New Orleans, USA. This is the classic, bucket-list destination where the festival feels nonstop. Expect huge parades, beads flying through the air, jazz music, and packed streets in the French Quarter. Bourbon Street becomes the heart of the party at night, while the Garden District is better for families and daytime parades. Don’t miss trying beignet... Fidget isn’t feeling good4h agoThis is Fidget and she’s a spayed 7 year old short hair tabby who is very opinionated/talkative and lives in northeast USA. She started an abnormal bout of vomiting after coming inside from my enclosed backyard on Saturday morning. At first the vomit was mostly food. Then it became clear/foam after there was nothing else to throw up. At one point I saw a grass blade in one of her puke piles. She regularly chews on the grass in my backyard and has done this since she was young so this didn’t seem abnormal. The vomiting persisted and she was eating less so I took her to the emergency vet on Sunday after I came home from the store to 4 new puke piles and saw some diarrhea in the litter bo... Travel Tier List by country4h agoPreface this that I am a surfer and lived in the USA and China. Also this isn’t a rating of how nice the country is just if it is worth going to as travel is expensive, and maybe it is unique but I don’t just travel just to see a place so I rank these countries quite pragmatically skewed towards my own personal reasons to travel which are surfing, lived experiences, and experiencing new and unique ecosystems and urban environments Barbados-Pretty awesome, it was really clean and the surf was quite good, without all the surf tourism bs that often appears in these types of places. It was very easy to drive and convenient to get around but the road network can be quite confusing. It’s qu... Why does my cat w dementia loudly meow after getting his medicine?6h agoIMPORTANT: this video was taken in my room, he's in the cat room on the other side of the house where all the lights are on and we have night lights in the hall way! I promise he's not in darkness like I am! Wanted to note that bc I know darkness can be upsetting for dementia cats Fluffy (male 15, turning 16 in June, neutered) was diagnosed with cognitive decline comparable to dementia a few years ago. He takes gabapentin twice a day to help with it and he has no problems taking it (gets it with food)! However everytime after he takes it he meows loudly afterwards, you can hear him no matter where you are in the house. Doesn't matter what time he gets it or how far apart he g... Rachel Ray Nutrish Food Issue (Dogs and Cats)6h agoBeen feeding Rachel Ray kibble to my cats for a few years now and they usually love it. I usually get real chicken and brown rice (sometimes chicken with lentils and salmon but not since what my post is about) in the 14lbs bag. In the last year or so we have gotten one bag off Chewy and one bag off of Amazon that my cats absolutely did not want to eat and I feel terrible that I made them. I give them wet food too so they were not stuck with only this but it took at least 3 times longer to go through because they were eating half or a third what they usually do and I ended up throwing it out early both times. In retrospect I feel like the kibble may have been darker than usual too but I am ... Top 10 Blockchain App Development Companies in USA 20267h agoBlockchain adoption has moved beyond proof-of-concept experiments and into production infrastructure. Financial institutions are deploying tokenized asset platforms, enterprises are integrating distributed ledgers into supply chain visibility systems, and Web3-native startups are building entirely new economic models on programmable smart contracts. As the stakes rise, so do expectations. Organizations are no longer hiring developers to “build on blockchain.” They are evaluating engineering partners who understand architecture design, regulatory exposure, security audits, scalability constraints, and long-term protocol sustainability. The United States remains a central hub for this ev... Parking tips for Great Britain vs USA at Minute Maid Park (Houston 03/07)7h agofiguring i'd share some parking tips for the great britain vs usa game on 03/07. parking around minute maid park is always a mess especially on a saturday night when everyone is heading downtown for an event. honestly your best bet is to check out Prked first. it is an app where you can rent driveways or private garage spots right next to minute maid park. it is usually way cheaper than the official lots and you get to skip the massive traffic lines after the game since you are not stuck in a stadium garage. it is just a short walk and much more chill than the usual options. if you do not use Prked then the official stadium lots like lots a, b, and c are right there but ... Skin allergy (looks like it) need help8h agoSkin allergy (lines forming after scratching) Hello. I moved from India to US 3 months back. While i was in India, I had some itching issue in my legs like 6 months back, specially at night. I met the doctor and he gave some mild medicines saying this might be due to winter. When I searched in internet, I can see similar images like mine and they have mentioned dermatographia. Sometimes it become unbearable and very difficult to control. Gondor Calls for Aid.8h ago27 F, Posting from USA Hello. I am posting here as a last resort. Rest assured, this gremlin is not in danger of being rehomed, but he's about to be placed under severe house-arrest if things don't take a 180 and fast. Butterbean is a 8mo NM DSH Sonic parking-lot model that was bestowed to me at work as a fresh out of the oven newborn. He was bottle-fed by yours truly while under the supervision of veteran bottle-feeders and an army of vets who also became sentimentally attached to his wellbeing (I work as an overnight ER Vet nurse at a specialty hospital). He is now in his psychotic internet-troll teenager phase. This is shown through his willingness and ability to eat /everyth... Are EBDGs ok for first time owners?8h agoHi! I'm looking into getting one of these cool little guys, thinking a male. But I haven't owned a gecko, or any other reptiles besides a tortoise, so I wanted to ask if this specific type of gecko is too much for a first-time owner. I researched their environment/food needs, and it doesn't seem like a lot or terribly difficult. I saw they don't like much handling, which I'm happy with as long as he's happy in his tank. The one concern I have is that he might escape his enclosure. (My understanding is EBDGs are more flighty than something like a Crested Gecko.) Are they escape artists? Are there specific tanks you recommend that don't have any little openin... Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
