This year Harris Teeter has all the beer specials. $14.99/12 on Corona, Modelo, Heineken and most other mid tiers. Way cheaper on 'mercan ****, Food Dog is still @$16.99/ plus on most of their mids. HT is probably better than hitting Costco once you factor in Costco beer is not cold and you have to spend an hour getting in and out of Costco on a weeken. Enjoy your beer

For reference, I've accepted that Prime looks more like, or even less than Choice from about 10 years ago. So if you want a Choice Steak from a decade ago, you have to get Prime today. I've gotten used to Prime not really being Prime and how standards have lowered overall but I ran across these just yesterday. Either itngot worse recently or this is the norm? For comparison, I bought steaks from Harris Teeter in Fairfax, under their brand, "Rancher" (image shown with the Rancher sticker) which is not graded but apparently are supposedly Select and or Choice level. It was half the price, better marbling and VERY delicious.

Does anyone know why Harris Teeter, at least the ones in Northern Virginia, only carry peeled red onions and not the unpeeled kind? Every other grocery store in the area (Safeway, Giant, TJs, Whole Foods, etc.) carries unpeeled red onions and sometimes the peeled kind too. But the only option for red onions at Harris Teeter is to get them peeled. Why is that?

I applied to my local food lion as a Cashier. Called the next day and talked to the Assistant customer service manager. She claimed she liked my app credentials so much if it was up to her I would be hired on the spot. Yesterday I go in for an interview. Same woman takes me to back. I'm looking for some recommendations on how to better maximize my credit cards with the ultimate goal of significantly increasing my travel (and being able to use points, etc. to help facilitate that). I mostly only shop 2 store chains. They are nearby and shopping them is easy. I've seen plenty of another store's batches pop up frequently, Weis. The pay is usually good enough but I hesitate to shop it because I've never been inside one. As I was driving back to my normal area, a Weis batch showed up. About $40, a single order in the batch, 30-40 items, 2.5 miles travel, it was at most 5 minutes out the way and the delivery destination was at most 5 minutes from where I wanted to go originally. I told my daughter in this time and age when people talk about monopolies they don't understand the NWO where there are no monopolies because of geopolitical systems.
