So I went and played at the spiritforged pre-release and had a great time. Pulled the Aphelios 224 and placed top 3, so I was expecting to get some packs, as described in the prizing rules. LGS owner decided that the booster box would NOT be used for prizing, and capped the event at 8 people instead of the 16 for the # of kits that’s came with the box. I did see the box, there were 16 kits and 1 booster box. How would you handle this as the player??

Hey hi, recent getting into TCG and riftbound specifically. Been trying to get some product for about a little over a week now. I went to my local nexus night and everyone was super chill and great! I really wanna go to a pre-rift event as a way to get some product as a starting off point given that origins product seems very hard to come by right now. (I’ve gone to basically every store within 15 miles of me looking ha!) However I am a little worried about going given I don’t really know enough about the game yet to be able to confidently build a deck to be able to play with. What do you guys suggest? A few days ago, someone in one of my Discord servers posted this game. It's a unique hidden object game where you use a sniper rifle as your sole tool to complete a bunch of menial tasks from afar across town. Based on what I'm looking for, an handheld with good power + screen + ecosystem flexibility + price; z1e is the only good and reliable product i believe. It has a good hardw mdg potential. Getting an brand new one under 40K or an used one, in good condition, under 30K (please correct me if I'm being delusional here) is a crazy value IF YOU KNOW HOW THE DEVICE WILL SERVE YOU. So, this happened around 10 years ago, give or take, I'm not sure if any regulations have changed since then. My question is, do the employees who start pre orders get a ding on their service if a game is cancelled? Or the ones who have to cancel it at the time? I've always been curious of this, mainly because, I went to my local GS frequently, almost weekly, the seasoned employees knew me at least. So the scenario was, I pre ordered 3 games coming out around the same time, well, money got super tight fast and I had to cancel them a few weeks later.
