First off, I enjoy this game a lot. The aesthetics are beautiful, there are some refreshing twists to the genre staples in terms of gameplay, and I actually like that some basic mechanics seem 'unnecessarily' complicated, like the payment system and how to organise my day around the opening hours of different stores. It makes it more challenging to figure out a solid rags-to-riches strategy and slows down the pacing. Many newer titles are way too easy for genre veterans (and I mean, since the Harvest Moon days). That goal being to get me to download their game. Ok great I click the ad because I like what I see and I download the game. But does it stop the ad? No. You still have to wait 30 seconds for the ****** ad to hit a certain time and hit a tiny button to open the store even though I already downloaded it then wait another 10 seconds to click a tiny x button.
