Hi everyone. In need of some dice for a game earlier this year, I tested out a few of the Dice apps. None of them covered all of the functionality I was after, so I’ve been working on my own for the last few months. Released version 1 yesterday and it covers dice collections, custom dice, roll modifiers (per dice / per roll modifiers, advantage, dropped dice, etc), colours, a re-orderable grid layout and a full history of your rolls. I built it solo with React Native + Skia for the dice rendering. The hardest part was making the dice physics feel good and I spent an embarrassing amount of time tuning the wobble. For my last two larger projects, I used source control while developing as a backup in case I did anything ******. I’ve been building this top-down zombie shooter in Godot over the past \~6 months as my first serious indie game project. It also makes a lot of event firings trivial -- seriously one event I got was "you got into an argument with your tanist. Do you want to kill him and lose 50 stability(!) or back down and lose *10 prestige?* It's like "man I've got 14 prestige, it can't go lower than 0, and all it's doing is giving me like +0.75% market attraction. You could have made it 100 prestige vs. 5 stab and the choice would still be easy." I’m trying to find a childhood mobile game I played around 2015-2016 on Android and maybe iPad. It was a peaceful 2D side-scrolling forest platformer with NO enemies. Hey all! I'm looking to join (or help start?) an in-person Daggerheart or DnD group in the Houston, TX area. I'm especially interested in the story-driven elements and duality dice of Daggerheart and have been wanting to try it out for over a year now. Hey everyone So I finally managed to make the jump from console to PC after months and months of saving up. It was a pretty long process but I finally got all the parts together.
