I have been absent from the sub after the update. The new map basically suffocated my harden Battledad lungs due the limited breathing room during a round of rush. Had to take a week or so break. Solo dev here, working on a 2D action sandbox called Hold & Advance. The idea that drives the whole game: when you craft, enemies attack. You find abandoned stations underground, start an upgrade - and immediately have to defend it alongside your modular turrets. If you survive, you get an upgrade that actually changes how you play. Not +2% damage - a new module that turns a turret from a machine gun into a laser. I got tired of crafting systems that feel like homework. Tanchjim RITA is a $89 Bluetooth headphone that comes with a 12 band Parametric EQ. As someone who is into EQing, this is exactly the kind of feature I have always wanted in a wireless set. I really **** to say it because I do enjoy this game, but the mission editor is one of the most primitive, frustrating, and tedious experiences I have ever seen and this is coming from someone who has spent countless hours in the DCS mission generator. What is the point of giving commands to AI if they straight up ignore them? What is the point of even including a stores editor if the ships still spawn in with weapons. Yikes.
