Annoyingly seems I've just missed a sale on the game but I can wait. While checking the steam store page I noticed a lot of recent negative reviews about various failure to start issues, is this a common issue? Even at the £3 sale price that's money I can't afford to throw away and I'd rather not spend the 2hr refund period failing to get the game to start.

Track pads are a game changer, but only in some games. Usually mouse based ones. Old point and clicks / cRPGs. Grand strategy or 4X. If you put hours into these games then this controller enables you to play them sat back on a sofa or reclined in a chair. I use a mouse at work all day and sometimes feel some wrist strain if I’m using it to play games all night on top - this controller, or just the trackpads, solve that.
