When building an RPG with AI-driven characters, how do you prevent them from forgetting past interactions? We hit this problem early in Altworld and built a persistent state engine to solve it. Instead of relying on the AI's limited context window, we store the world state in a database (PostgreSQL) so NPCs, inventory, and factions persist between sessions. The game adjudicates player actions against this state before generating narrative, which adds consistency and prevents contradictions. Just got this email from Microsoft. Asked the AI Assistant if it includes any in-game context. Apparently not. I’d buy if it did. FH5 controller had a Forza Edition car, emote and clothing. Missed opportunity. (I do appreciate them not locking content behind accessories but I like that stuff.) If anyone knows otherwise please share. 🙌

We're trying to have a friend host an Arma 3 server using the in-game menu, running a collection of mods based around Antistasi Ultimate. Short version: \- Friend hosting (Doesn't own DLC, has compatability packs from Workshop) \- Me trying to join (Owns the DLC and has it installed as DLC) \- I'm getting an error that the game is trying to "loading additional compatability" I was able to join by turning off the DLC on my end and the error went away (even though it was initially including some RHS stuff) Does he also have to buy the DLC for me to be able to join while keeping mine?
