I have been dealing with chronic hive outbreaks that last everyday for months on end. It first happened when I was in middle school and i went to an allergist and they did the skin prick test and found nothing. They gave me Zyrtec back when it was prescription and after a few weeks or months it went away. I barely remember that time because I was so young. Fast forward about 16 years later and in 2021 the hives came back and felt like they were worse than in middle school. All over my body and SO itchy I wanted to just scream all day long, everyday for the 2 or 3 months I had it. I had to take off work because I could not stop scratching and screaming from the frustration of how itchy I felt...

Hii! first time solo female traveler. Booked a last minute very short trip for 2 weeks from now, mid week. I’m staying in St Lawrence Gap per recommendations on here. A lot of the restaurants I’m seeing on social media that look delicious and beautiful are on the west coast. Are these worth traveling to? I stopped drinking 40 days ago and with it went all the associated habits of eating, snacking when drunk and greasy food the day after. It has done wonders for my resting HR, and I don’t get hungry like I used to. This is probably a reduction of something like 20,000 calories a month. But I’m also eating better, higher protein meals with much less junk food. As a result, weight loss has been pretty steep - about 20lb in 40 days. I’m sure some is water and inflammation. I feel great and I’m not starving myself. But I worry in the back of my head that this might be too fast. Was hoping for some wisdom from this sub.

A couple of weeks ago it looked like he had an injury on his paw and we took him to the vet. They prescribed chlorhexidine spray for it and we've been using that. It looked like the paw was healing up pretty well, but this past week he started in on scratching his face as well. At this point both sides of his snout are raw and red and the hair is missing. And he's also started in on chewing two more of his paws. We took him back to the vet and they told us to put him on Zyrtec and gave him an antibiotic.
