Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Fast Foods Latest Community Discussions About Fast Foods in USOffering: English | Seeking: Spanish1h agoHello! I am a 27 year old man from the USA. I am learning Spanish and am in the intermediate range. I believe having a speaking partner would help me get closer to fluency. Happy to help with your English in exchange. Looking to make a friend in the process as well! Interests: travel, sports (mostly American sports), music, movies, books, and food/cooking to name a few. If this sounds good to you I would love to connect. Restaurant owners: Two BOP add-ons that could save your inventory (and revenue)1h agoWe talk to a lot of restaurant owners who assume their standard [Business Owner’s Policy (BOP)](https://www.simplybusiness.com/business-insurance/business-owners-policy-insurance/) covers everything. Although BOP covers a lot (like general liability and property damage from fire or theft), it typically has gaps when it comes to specific risks of running a kitchen. If you rely on refrigeration or specialized cooking equipment, there are two specific endorsements (add-ons) you should check for (or add on) in your policy. Here is a breakdown of what they are and why they matter: [**1. Food Spoilage Coverage**](http://www.simplybusiness.com/resource/understanding-food-spoilage-coverage-for-... Rate my first item list1h agoHi, I am currently working on a jump for a storm of swords by by a certain dyslexic writer on ff, and is a crossover between fate stay night and Hitman Reborn series Enjoy this item list, let me know if there is anything I should critique at all. For the general items section you get one discount per point bracket. Let me know if you would add anything else or if you think something is a bit too overpowered General Pocket money (Free) No matter what you have pocket money, around 10000 yen to start off! I LET A GUY STAY AT MY GF'S HOUSE AND IT WAS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE! (EXTENDED EDITED VERSION)1h agoFirst off I had this whole story written out and than my phone died so now I had to rewrite everything smh. Me and my gf have been in a relationship for 3+ years. She found me on TikTok and we fell in love. I live in Central Jersey, she lives in South Jersey about an hour and change away from me. Throughout our relationship about 98% of the time I would just drive to her house. She is afraid of driving long distances and never drove to my house once. I'd say I have driven over 25k + miles to her house in the span of 3 years. If she came to my house, I would have to go and pick her up and than drive back to mine. Recently for the past 6 months she has been upset with me because I have... However, according to increasing numbers of independent, non-chain restaurant owners, there is a growing crisis of business sustainability, driven by a perfect storm of high labor costs, soaring rents, and escalating food prices (all of which has been much discussed in our beloved sub). These pressures are forcing restaurant owners into increasingly precarious positions, making it difficult for many establishments to remain financially viable. As a result, the food service industry is facing challenges that will - almost certainly, IMHO - dramatically reshape it. Labor costs are a signifi... Stranded in Montreal1h agoAs you might have guessed, I didn't make it to my connecting flight to Barcelona. Like me, many others have fallen victim to the scheduling incompetence of a company that can't seem to crack the complexity of winter holidays for the past 60 years. I get rescheduled for a flight 24 hours from my original connection and booked to a nearby hotel. As I wait for the shuttle to bring me to my nice american sized hotel room, paid by the airline nonetheless, I finally get to do what I love: sit and observe. It is -10 °C, and as I enjoy the night breeze, my attention is caught by the passing of a smaller version of the traditional American yellow bus. This is the white quebecois shuttle... what would you do in my situation?1h agoim 18m and currently work at a fast food place, i graduated my sophomore year online and was way ahead of everyone i knew, working at a restaurant as a host and raking in a ton of money for my age at the time. I ended up quitting to pursue my goal of going to the coast guard (for benefits etc) but was rejected due to a medical waiver and fell into a depression where i felt lost. i searched for jobs for months till i ended up running out of savings and got a job at the fast food place mentioned above, my parents are poor and I’ve always wanted to be successful but i feel im at a standstill. i don’t want to make a bad career decision and be stuck poor and miserable my whole life but at the... I tested the Braun PowerBlend 9 for Hummus. Here’s the texture result + what mattered1h agoHey Hummus lovers, I ran Sir Hummus in Amsterdam for about a decade and recently made a free masterclass on the method. One thing I kept hearing (and also hit myself) is: even when you do everything right, home equipment can still hold texture back. So I made a short follow-up video testing a home blender for one question: can it actually get that airy, ultra-smooth “restaurant” texture at home? I go through: * what I look for in a machine (including RPM and why it matters) * why blenders often disappoint for Hummus * the exact blending sequence: chickpeas first, then lemon/tahini, then aquafaba to finish * final result + plating Video link: [https://youtu.be/FST88K0d5C4](https:/... Silly Tourist Questions (apologies for being in English)1h agoFolks, My partner and I will be visiting Rouen in late May and I wonder if anyone can recommend a "Food Walk" or "Food Tour" for the city? Lacking that, I'd love some restaurant/coffee recommendations. Local dishes and food quality preferred over a luxurious, fancy environment. I will also consult a few previous posts I see about restaurants in this subreddit. We will be staying fairly close to the Palais de Justice. We're also going to visit Thomas Dambo's troll at Canteleu. Secondly, we will be traveling to Pontorson (for an overnight at Mt. St. Michel) from Rouen and it appears a TER train is the way to do this. That make sense to you all? It ... I was wrong about Recluse, she's not as good as I thought.1h agoDid a D2-D5 run with random trios, currently sitting on 7000. Feels like the weakest caster now compared to Duchess and Revenant. Duchess has access to more weapon options and better ability that doesn't require micromanagement, and Revenant is basically the full package on first camp with starting seals. On top of that, Duchess and Revenant both can rez 3 bars with their ult unlike Recluse. The carry potential is a lot lower when you are paired with sleepy teammates. Stars of ruin is a win condition. But I've had more than half my games where glintstone pebble was my go to. Not knocking on glintstone pebble though. It's amazing for how fast it casts, you can easily get 1000... Craving potato chips1h agoSo, for a few days I was craving potato chips. This is not surprising, in the long view, because I called it "potato crack" at least 10 years ago. So I got some bbq chips, grabbed a handful and, yes, weighed it on the kitchen scale - 25g. Ate the first couple slowly, tasted good, and they were gone pretty fast. Got another handful, weighed it, of course, cuz I'm logging everything on MFP both for tracking and learning, and this wasn't as satisfying. There was nothing to chew! It melted away in my mouth. Of course I know it's designed to be this way, but what was new is that it ruined the food experience with me. In the past I was very amused by a comment by Vaclav ... Gestational Diabetes test this weekend and I'm spiraling about all the junk i've been eating, what are the fac...1h agoThe messaging around this test really perplexes me and I feel really guilty about how bad my diet has been for entire pregnancy. Yes I do eat fiber and lots of protein, but I've also been regularly eating a buttload of processed foods, sugar, and ice cream... especially during lunch time when i'm working. In the first trimester I gave myself some leeway because I only wanted soup, so I lived off salty beef pho for about a month, and apples, which was a positive thing to crave. Second trimester I went to Italy which was probably fine in all honesty because alongside all the carbs I was walking a crapload for 2.5 weeks and actually felt really good coming home. But now that the s... Wtf is this?1h agoIs this a rip off of “mehfil” ? Butt creams1h agoWhat creams? Butt creams. Here are some I used. My favorite was to mix the 4% lidocaine with aquaphor. Sometimes the silvadene on burnt skin. Your cancer center should have a radiation nurse who will have samples. I went on Amazon and ordered everything that looked good. (No affiliation, just trying to help). Ok… I was stressing and didn’t use some of these but(t) better safe… the silvadene requires a prescription. Ask for it. Never Living With a Roommate Again1h agoI (22M) live in a shared apartment with an older roommate(s) (\~32+M). I’m honestly at the end of my rope and I want an outside opinion from people who’ve dealt with roommates. Context: He’s unemployed (or at least never leaves), and is home 24/7 in the common area playing video games / on Discord. He has basically occupied the living room since I moved in, and he’s the only one out the room and in the living room/ kitchen for the past 2 years. Main issues: 1. He’s a hoarder in the common area The living room looks like an unorganized storage unit: junk, random unused items, large furniture, “scrap” stuff, clutter everywhere. The kitchen also has a bunch of unnecessary i... These are the weaknesses that secretly destroy men: a guide to spotting & fixing them early1h agoIt’s wild how many people, especially men, are unknowingly trapped by invisible traps. Not because they’re lazy or **** or broken, but because the advice they’re getting—mostly from TikTok, IG, and YouTube ‘gurus’—is either surface-level or flat-out toxic. Scrolling through clips like Courtney Ryan’s “Weaknesses That Destroy Men,” you’ll see the *what* but not the *why*. So let’s fix that. This post pulls from real sources. Not just viral opinions, but actual psychology, neuroscience, and behavioral research. The point is not to shame but to *decode* these patterns and offer tools that actually work. Because good news: these weaknesses are not hardwired. They can be ... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
