It can be good to have these people as they exercise our social muscle. But there's a guy I know now at work who's almost constantly joking, and he's pushing the limits of what's appropriate sometimes. Whenever I go to the drive-thru at McDonalds they tell me to pull around and wait. This kind of defeats the convenience of the drive-thru and dispells the Fast Food part. They will do this for a cup of coffee, or a single order of French fries. WTF?

What operator and food do you need to use?

Couples queueing up to get into a packed restaurant ... with 90 minute time slots coz there's another couple waiting for your table and another couple behind them ... and paying over the odds for a 2nd rate dining experience because the restaurant puts a wee flower on your table. We stay home, swap cards, cook great food, have a few (but not too many) drinks and enjoy the peace and quiet together. That's our thing and we're very happy with it.
