My cat Luke was diagnosed about 2 months ago. First we switched to the food the vet recommended and measured it out by his weight. Over the next 2 weeks he already began showing to be more food aggressive before we got to the point of starting him on insulin. Fast forward to now, he is up to 4.5 units twice a day of insulin and 2 meals of 1/3 cup but the food aggression had began to get out of control. My child and their eating habits are driving me up the wall. When she was a baby, she would eat everything, broccoli, carrots, you name it. I remember 15+ years ago people making a big deal about Wendy’s chili possibly being made with “leftover” burger patties. Even if they did or still do… I never understood why that would be a bad thing?
