Few of my friends work at one of the globally renowned restaurant chain in qatar. But there are few questionable and immoral rules that they have 1. ⁠They deduct 1% of every sale from the waiter/waitress in anticipation of tips from the customer. eg. If you had a bill of QAR 500 and did not tip, the waiter/waitress have pay QR 5 in cash from their already very low salary. 2. ⁠The company is not providing health insurance and are very strict on sick leaves. 3. ⁠There are few other issues like no home appliances in their company accommodation, not providing NOC for company change, etc. I just want to know if these rules are legal according to qatar labor law?
