I have posted on here previously, but now im after some more specific and detailed info The TL;DR version of my post is that I am looking for recommendations for real estate agents, or business's or services who I can view rental properties with, when I come to KL in the next month and a half. I/We have earmarked KL and Penang as possible destinations. This trip will just be focused on KL. Will head to Penang the following Month. I have looked online, and that tells half the story. I would like the opportunity to view a few properties with my partner, see the... Trauma bond.2h agoI went through a trauma bond when i was a teenager with my supervisor from work. It was my first fast food job. He was he 19 and I was 17. It has haunted me for many years and caused me many many problems in my adolescent life and teen years. It happened in 2020 to 2021, and I went and begun college right after wards. It really haunts me how bad it was and how little support i actually had and little I asked for help. He was just a **** guy; but that’s what made the damage worse, it made no sense for so long because I had no label, and I didn’t know what I was losing my mind over my supervisor and felt deathly sick after I quit and left that job and stopped seeing him at work. It was... Families just wanted good food and a peaceful day at an Italian restaurant. That didn’t last long.2h agoBorrowed Skin2h agoI don’t know when or even if this will ever be posted, let alone read, but my therapist says I have to get this out of my system in some way and journaling has always helped. I hope that maybe someone can learn from the signs that I neglected. I’d lived there for four years. A shabby apartment complex, the type with questionable stains in inexplicable places, funky smells that lacked a source, and maddening dripping that couldn’t be resolved. Regardless, rent was cheap and considering my situation it was a more than ample home. Far superior when compared to abandoned compounds in combat zones and the gaunt tents Uncle Sam offered us. While my time in Afghanistan left me with frequen... Any thoughts in the New Mexican restaurant in 34 ave ? Worried about my pup2h agoI have a 6 F year old golden retriever (spayed) who is the best dog ever. Near thanksgiving she developed diarrhea that was \~2 days cured with chicken and rice and probiotics. A week later it came back and went in about a day with the same protocol. Fast forward to January 9th, she was acting strange and ended up vomiting in the middle of the night. She vomited undigested food until it ultimately became bile. I withheld food until we went to the vet, she had an unremarkable X-ray series and perfect blood work. This time we did Purina proplan EN low fat and she seemed to get better. I incorporated her kibble and again Tuesday Jan 15th she vomited through the night after dinnner. The same ... At 29 years old I am making a change and going back to school. What do I do moving forward?2h agoHi all! As the title above states, I am 29 years old and looking for a change. I am a former college dropout who has worked in several different industries since I left school. After dropping out at 20 I did a year of Water well drilling for mining and tech companies. Pivoted to an electrical apprenticeship and did that for two years before COVID. Afterwards I worked for a custom pool and spa builder as a construction superintendent for about two years.. From then on I wandered into the semiconductor manufacturing world as a traveling customer engineer and worked in that role for 3 1/2 years before being laid off due to a market slowdown in the spring of ‘25. I exercise and weight train often and do cook and eat healthy often. I am happy to exchange pictures if you'd prefer one that isn't a LinkedIn headshot, haha. I have a light beard and have a serious look despite being light hearted, I blame the German side of me. **Personality:** I have a very even keel, cool tempered personality and really like to make others laugh. I have a great relationship with most of my family, and I've been training my dad barbecue skills for years -- you won't be disappointed. I am inclined more toward introversion and... Career transition into commercial real estate — feedback on realistic entry points?2h agoHey, posting to this sub because I genuinely think I am approaching this wrong. I understand not knowing anyone in this field and the job market being what it is, I know it's tough.. but there has to be a way! haha. About me: I just **moved to Seattle from Los Angels** with my life in the car and looking to start my life here with the intention of being in the CRE space. I was previously an **operations leader** for a food & beverage company that was growing really fast. I opened 10 locations nationwide working side by side with the COO. I lead multiple teams across all locations, done 1000+ hirings, created systems and training programs etc. I left because I was tired ... Recommendations similar to Trullo but easy to book within a couple days???2h agoAs title states, looking to book a restaurant similar to Trullo (in both food and atmosphere), but I have sadly left very little time to do so, and it feels like every place I find is booked up in advance. North West/North London ideally, but would venture in to central. Any recommendations? Thanks! In the USA and Canada, you need a balance of insulation, waterproofing, and tech. Here are the 8 "Holy Grail" pairs that actually survive the freeze. **1. This encompasses your fancier tacos with a million ingredients thrown in, and usually cost something like four to six dollars per taco. They are often fusions of different cultures (more than just Mexican or Tex-Mex), sometimes bearing little resemblance to an actual street taco, and are often aimed at the more affluent market looking something different.
