Location: Ohio. Unfortunately I have to be a little vague in order to protect a person close to me. This is a throwaway for obvious reasons. This person works the night shift at a local location of a nationwide fast food restaurant. After around 10-11 PM the dining room closes, the doors are locked, and they only serve drive thru orders. OK, so recently my dog of one year old she’s a multipoo got Gastroenteritis. The vet didn’t tell us from what but her stomach is a bit achy and her GI tract. So she’s on the boiled chicken and rice diet but the only problem is she does not like chicken whatsoever. One thing I don’t see talked about enough is that fasting is just a tool, not a cure. It can simplify eating and reduce mindless snacking, but it doesn’t automatically fix how you *think* about food. If you go into IF with an “I’ll suffer now so I can eat later” mindset, that tension usually shows up eventually. Binges, guilt, or swinging between extremes. I’ve been there.
