here is my tipping method. When I go to a sitdown restaurant, most of the time I will make sure I bring cash with me, before I go out to eat. So whether it be sit down restaurant, or fast food, I pay in cash. I will tip somebody who serves me the food, I will tip the people who wax my eyebrows, I will tip when I get my haircut. I will not tip at any fast food at all, I don’t eat a lot of fast food anyway, because I love to cook. I refuse to tip at fast food restaurants. They make a minimum wage, supposedly unlivable minimum wage, they don’t need to be tipped. I don’t believe any of that tip money, would go to the employees anyway. Would you support it? I am of the mind that when somebody provides you a service that you should tip them no matter what. You don’t HAVE to and you don’t even have to tip them the full 20% but I believe tipping in the US is customary and expected. Just give them SOMETHING for doing something that you had the option to do yourself. I know we wont get everyone to change their mind so i propose tipping and non-tipping sections in restaurants. You open up the bag that your food is in and you see a receipt...ok....napkins...ok...then dipping sauce on top of your fries. Am I the only one who thinks that's ******* gross?
