I am a student currently and I speak fluently when talking to friends or family most of the time but near unknown people,ordering food at a restaurant and teachers I have a stutter like the words don’t come out even sometimes during attendance as well. growing up, i was always a picky eater. so was my dad, just less severe. when i hit around 12 I branched out a bit and started eating a better range, my dad did not and still lives on meat, potato and microwave meals. I don’t care about that, if he loves his steak and chips then he loves his steak and chips. but, he’s a very fast eater. like, plate of steak gone in 5 minutes, going for seconds. i am not. so often there’s arguments about how slowly i eat ‘god, do you even like that?!’ when I spend more than 15 minutes on a bowl, and arguments because he feels the need to point out how disgusting my food is. ‘that’s bland and disgusting’. why?? 💔

My dwarf dumbo girl Tuk is 2 years 10 months old. she woke me up this morning around 6 AM making unusual noise around the cage. Just wanted to share a positive experience with this place, which is located on NJ 17 south jn Paramus (just north of Shake Shack). It’s one of a handful of places I can walk to from my job. I’ve been in there maybe five times so far and enjoyed everything I tried (mostly soup and sandwiches) but the people are also really nice. It’s not a restaurant per se but they do have limited seating and when I dined in the chef/owner brought me my food when it was ready and later checked in on me again.
