I’m fairly new to the concept of fasting. I want to do longer fasts of about 5-7 days for health reasons. I’ve been struggling with brain fog and achy joints for the better part of this decade, and hopefully prolonged fasting Will help rejuvenate me. My body fat is about 15% (lower estimate for safety reasons). I could probably stil be healthy losing 5% body fat. So at 145lbs, that means I could technically lose about 7lbs of body fat. That would convert to about 30.000 excess calories in my body (roughly speaking of course). So if my math is correct, I should be able to do a 7 Day fast without many issues.
