How to lube chain? PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION!!!

2h ago

I have specific questions. Before applying lube while cleaning bike, do i degrease and clean my cassette aside from the chain or not? Then should i do it fast and not do each individual link with “precision”? And last question do i change gears and if i don’t how much time after do i and isn’t that bad for the cassette? My cassette and chain has some rust already so not good thats why im concerned, i bought lube so it doesn’t spread. Thanks a lot, help is very much appreciated!

What are the most reliable AI agent frameworks in 2025?

2h ago

I’ve been testing pretty much every agent framework I can find over the last few months for real client work  not demo videos  and most of the “top 10 AI agent tools” lists floating around are clearly written by people who haven’t actually built anything beyond a chatbot. Here’s my honest breakdown from actual use: **1. LangChain:** Still the most flexible if you can code. You can build anything with it, but it turns into spaghetti fast once you start chaining multiple agents or anything with branching logic. Hidden state issues if you’re not super careful. **2. GraphBit:** This one surprised me. It behaves less like a typical Python agent library and more like a prope...

MCP Server Open Source AI Memory - Forgetful

2h ago

I've built an MCP for AI Agents that is kind of an opinionated view on how to encode... well everything for retrieval across sessions and I guess more importantly across systems/devices. It started out where I would get frustrated having to explain the same concepts to Claude or Chat GPT real time when I was out walking and ranting at them in Voice Mode. Having them respond to my tirades about the dangers of microservices by hallucinating what that my own AI framework was Langchain for the 22nd time I think finally made me act. I decided to take the only reasonable course of action in 2025, and spent the weekend vibe coding my way around the problem. Where I landed and after dog-foo...

A frozen world, collapsing cities, and survival through a deadly VR competition — “Subzero Quest: Legends Awaken” ...

2h ago

Hi everyone! I’m excited to share my debut sci-fantasy dystopian novel, Subzero Quest: Legends Awaken, which is out now. This isn’t a dystopia about laws or dictatorship—it's about a world that failed, and people trapped in the ruins trying to survive it. The story opens with a global geoengineering attempt that goes wrong and triggers a second ice age. Entire nations freeze, billions die, and the world fractures into small pockets of survivors. (Exactly described in the prologue: the nuclear atmospheric veil, the rapid cooling, and societal collapse.) Hannah, the protagonist, lives in what’s left of Chicago—a buried, starving city where: • buildings collapse under the w...

Tamarind Juice Cooperatives in Dakar, Senegal

2h ago

In Dakar, the aroma of tamarind drifts through the air like a signal flare, pulling travelers toward the city’s cooperative kitchens where the humble brown pod becomes something close to alchemy. These workshops hum with laughter, clattering pots, and the low percussion of wooden mortars, turning the process of making juice into something more ritual than recipe. Tamarind is cracked open, scraped clean, and simmered until its sweet-sour character blooms. Cloves release their smoky perfume, vanilla softens the edges, and the whole room fills with a scent that could tempt saints into indulgence. It becomes more than a drink. It’s a story brewed in steam and community, poured into glasses t...

First time visit Thailand had high expectations they were exceeded

2h ago

As title says just got back from Thailand trip first time visitor to the kingdom 20 days total (6 nights Bangkok, 14 nights Pattaya) My god all I can say was best vacation of my life. The people were so nice and friendly, could not believe I was paying around $100 a night at 5 star hotels. Local food and restaurants were phenomenal. Nightlife scene was amazing, and the women even more beautiful in person. Can't believe I had waited so long to take the trip. I already booked my flight for another 21 day trip to Thailand in April. All I have to say for anyone debating on going to Thailand is just book the trip you won't regret it.

Thanksgiving Post Mortem

2h ago

So to give some context - I’ve been in deficit since August. Usually in the neighborhood of 1300-1400kcal a day with macros around 180p/45f/45c. Starting weight was around 179 with goals set every 5lbs - when I hit one - I just adjusted to the next goal. During this time, I wove in a 3-5 day fast per month, went to the gym 5-7 days a week with a focus on weight training but also did yoga once or twice a week and ran 3-4 miles each Saturday in preparation for a Thanksgiving 10K. Up until Thursday morning, everything was great! I knew I was going to pig out, so I fasted Monday/Tuesday, refeed Wednesday, and preloaded some carbs for the 10K. I ran it in under an hour and was ready for my re...

The Most Reliable IPTV Streaming Experience in US CA France & Across Europe (2025) (Best IPTV Providers Ranking)

2h ago

After spending years testing IPTV services across US CA France, the UK, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, and the rest of Europe—and wasting money on providers that freeze the moment the action gets intense—I finally found the two that actually deliver: [**SmartiFlix.com**](https://smartiflix.com/) [**TrimixTriangles.com**](https://trimixtriangles.com/) I tested both during the biggest live events of the year—Champions League finals, NFL Sundays, Rugby events, UFC nights, Formula 1 races, Roland-Garros, El Clásico, Super Bowl, Wimbledon—and **not a single freeze or stutter**. These are the **most stable, consistent IPTV experiences I’ve found in all of Europe.** ...

**(This story is based on real incidents. Everything I'm about to write is 100% true. I'm not looking for karma, sympathy, or validation. Just need to let this out. I swear to God, none of this is exaggerated or made up.)** **Backstory** Back in October 2024, I met a girl, let’s call her *Mia*. We were both 18. I was leading a hackathon team, she was part of it. I did most of the work (not to flex — I’d just been coding longer), and we clicked a little. Knew each other from school, but barely spoke before this. We started going home together some days. It was chill. No sparks. Just teammates. **The First Hackathon** It was sweaty, chaotic, and had free food. Nothing r...
