Finding a job that works for me is a CHORE. My current job is part time reception. On a good week I get 20/hrs. Definitely not enough to pay bills fortunately i live at home still but in 6 months im moving in with a friend and want to go to college. Where I work currently I was offered a fulltime position but had to turn it down because its Monday-Friday and I wouldnt be able to go dr appointments and its a lot on my body in general. Got a giant lunch order from a restaurant. Would have been around $30 for 30 minutes. Accepted like usual. Drove across town to get to the store. The food was already gone and delivered. I canceled the order on my end to go about my day. Called Uber Eats to try to recoup something and got stiffed. "Nothing I can do." I said, "So, **** me then?" So this is my first week on campus as a commuter. I have a job off campus close to my house but they keep scheduling me either during class or literally 45 minutes after my last class ends which ends at 2:15 and is in EPIC so I have to take the bus to my car since I park closest to my morning classes. It’s already getting old for me having to bust my butt to make it to work on time everyday so I just would rather work on campus. I’m wondering what are my chances of being hired?
