Recently wrapped up a stay at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth in Montreal booked through Chase’s "The Edit" and wanted to share a few quick takeaways: The Perks: Got a solid upgrade to a room with a great view. Why has it become impossible to order a simple burger? Everything now is smash burgers, burnt as ****, somehow always WET and slimy?! Chips are never included, but you can add them on for only £5!!! Don't forget the 10% service charge too!! I want a BURGER. I don't care if it's a cheap patty from the corner shop. Throw on some decent toppings, and include chips. I am sick of smash burgers EVERYWHERE, and all these new restaurants opening up always have them ffs. Spoons burgers are wank, and every other restaurant is jumping on the trendy street food hype. I spend 30 to 40 minutes per chargeback carefully documenting everything. Timestamps, delivery photos, email chains, terms of service screenshots, IP logs showing they accessed their account after delivery. Upload it all in organized PDF packets. Then the bank makes a decision in what I assume is 30 seconds of review because the turnaround is so fast. Lost three disputes this week where I know they didn't actually look at half of what I submitted. The inefficiency is maddening. I'm basically doing paralegal work that gets ignored while an AI somewhere probably makes the decision based on keywords. Has anyone found a way to game what banks actually look for in these responses?

I’ve been working as a CNC mill operator in CA, US for a while now with $22/h. I work hard, I learn fast, I try to level up. If everything goes well, maybe one day I can hit $50–55 an hour.
