Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Fast Foods Latest Community Discussions About Fast Foods in USMy friends who are parents have lost their minds2h agoMy (29F) friends, Hannah (30F) and Nate (32M) have a toddler-aged kid together. Hannah works one day a week and Nate works full time from home. I used babysit once a week for them when Hannah had to go to her job. She would only be gone for a couple of hours, she originally offered me $20 each time I babysat, to which I agreed. Well, I was never paid. They would always invite me to stay for dinner and cook for me which I thought was nice of them. One time they got take-out for dinner, and I thought maybe they could just buy me dinner since I still haven’t been paid for any babysitting. Nope, got a Venmo request from them anyways. After about 8 weeks I got a new job and I wouldn’t be avai... Beer doesn’t count for wheat trigger?? And add back 4 food groups at a time??2h agoI went on 6FED in early November, lasted until last week I had follow up with GI to discuss results of EGD. \*\* EoE is now in full cellular level remission because I didn’t have soy, wheat, dairy, seeds/sesame, egg, nuts (—- note, I did have 2 bars in the 2 months that had almonds and cashews, but I didn’t realize at the time). I was so strict! I was so miserable! Doc says because I responded fully by food elimination and PPI, I’m not a candidate for any other medicines. That I’ll need to follow diet limitations indefinitely if I want EOE to stay in remission. He seems surprised by my sadness and didn’t understand that restricting food groups is unpleasant. He asked ... I went to the vet today and I have some worrying news...2h agoI have posted a while ago in here: https://www.reddit.com/r/ferrets/s/PVP4GZj6SE It was about my ferret (he is 4 years and 10 months old now) and some issues that we had. He started pooping in the upper floor corner of his cage where his bed is, even though I never had issues with him pooping outside of dedicated places. Some of you suggested he might have joint issues. That day I ordered a new cage, salmon oil, and a toilet with lower walls. I coated the new cage floor and beds with salmon oil, except for the lower floor where the toilet is. I don’t know which of these helped (or if it was a combination), but the pooping issue eventually resolved itself. Unfortunately, another — muc... AITAH for putting my childs needs above that of a friend?2h agoHello! First time posting here! This is about to get long so buckle up for the ride! So a bit of backstory is needed, but this is regarding a situation regarding my child and how my 'friend' thinks they should rank above them. Spoiler alert: They dont. There are a few recurring people, who we will call, Damon (my partner and my childs father), Charity (One of my best friends), Sasha (another of my best friends), Karen (The nightmare) and my child Indigo. Early 2024, i started doing a bunch of local free courses, to try and get out more after a serious battle with my mental health, and learn some new crafting skills etc. It was during one of these courses that i met Karen. at th... For crops and bombs: fertilizers and their role in the Russian economy and military2h agoFertilizers for others. Explosives for itself 💥 Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia has ramped up large-scale production of raw materials for weapons — hiding behind so‑called “humanitarian needs.” This is easy to do when you are one of the world’s largest exporters of mineral fertilizers. If you have any insights into the 3PL/Logistics industry, I'd love to hear from you. Let's get into it. # U.S. and India reach trade deal, tariffs drop immediately In a move that sent trade policy watchers scrambling for their calculators, President Trump announced a trade deal with India that takes effect *immediately*. **The details:** Following a call with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Trump announced that reciprocal tariffs on India will drop from 25% to 18%. India will move to reduce their tariffs and non-tariff barriers to zero. Modi also agreed to buy American products *"at a much higher... Blood work LDL & liver enzymes2h ago26F, normal bodyweight, had regular blood work done and respected all prep indications (fasted, no exercise). I need some advice on my abnornal blood work results, and I will only list the abnornal values. I have had high LDL for 2-3 years (since I began having regular blodd tests) that keeps increasing over time. Total cholesterol 226 mg/dl, LDL 159, total lipids 715. I went to my general doctor for advice, to my surprise they were more worried about my liver enzymes, which are slightly above the reference interval: ALT 37, AST 36. My values were smaller previously, both around 15. I will meet with a gastroenterologist, but until my appointment I am wondering if my liver enzymes are someh... Roadtrip to Oshkosh WI and Iowa City IA, seeking suggestions!2h agoHi all! I’ll be traveling from Lancaster PA to Oshkosh WI for EAA Airventure in late July. I’ll have my four year old with me. After spending time at Airventure we’ll head to Iowa City, where we have someone to visit and a place to stay. We also have family sprinkled throughout NE Ohio so we have some free lodging I could utilize there as well. I am seeking suggestions of worthwhile stops and detours to help break up the drive, as well as recommendations for places to stay in between Iowa City and Akron OH in case I am overcome by bad weather, heavy traffic, or tiredness. I love regional fast food and would like to stop at a Kewpee Hamburgers location in Lima, OH. I especially apprec... Vacuum Mop Recommendations2h agoI’m looking at getting a new vacuum mop combo device. I see a lot of posts asking for recommendations and most folks (rightfully so) don’t recommend them. I already have a great system in place for actually cleaning my floors - housekeeper comes in 1x per week to do a deep clean with a regular mop and her amazing cleaner combo. However, I have 2 dogs and a baby who throws food all over the floor for 3 meals + snacks every day. I currently use a Tineco iFloor 2 after each mealtime to basically spot clean and tidy up the kitchen floor. I like that it’s fast. Unfortunately, it gets super gross after a week of use and I spend hours on weekends trying to clean it so it doesn’t smell. I se... Breaking the Chains International Charity Scammers2h agoBreaking the Chains International went into hiding a year ago. Dai Thomas Seaton Norton, Tom S\_N , Lily Bluck and TJ, Tom Nicholson have all stolen donations and are somewhere spending it all. His US Charity run by Jeff Prekopp has never paid any funds out for the animals. This money has all gone into their pockets too. Where are they all? They raised millions of £, €, $ stealing the money meant for stray animals to be rescued, neutered and fed. They abandoned animals they had claimed to rescue, leaving them to a certain death. Tom and his team are responsible for the death of hundreds if not thousands of animals over in Ukraine. They fund raised in Turkey, Romania and Gaza, some... Hit a big milestone today!2h agoF, 26, 5’2 My highest weight was 298lbs back in 2018 due to overeating and being on an antidepressant. After getting off the medication I went down to around 245lbs without trying. After that I worked out multiple times a week for years but my weight didn’t change due to binging habits. In October 2024 I realized that I needed to get it together and lose the weight because I wanted to be healthy and potentially have kids one day. I bought a food scale, began tracking my food, and continued going to the gym. Not only did this help me lose weight but it also helped me recover from my binging eating disorder. Fast forward to April 2025, I was down to 195lbs and then I met my partner :) ... College has been draining on my mental health, should I look at other avenues?2h agoI have been at my school for two years now which is why I'm very hesitant to switch avenues- a lot of money and time burned on top of my immigrant family putting much stress on pursuing higher education has made me try to "thug it out". However I am not fulfilled neither am I happy here, the time away from loved ones and me simply not being a smart guy has made me reconsider it all. I wanted to look into community college first however my major (actuarial science) isn't offered at my local CCs. I have done blue collar work in the summer (construction) and despite it being hard work, I liked it a lot. Don't get me wrong, it ****** waking up so early and coming home ti... Recovery is possible, it just takes time2h agoAfter my psychosis I felt like I had been ripped from my life and dropped into purgatory. It was the lowest I have ever felt in my life, like a depression but much, much worse. I want to give some words of advice for anyone dealing with the recovery process. **GOLDEN RULE** PLEASE stay away from any mind-altering substances. It will halt your recovery process and bring you back into how you felt during psychosis, and sometimes it doesn’t go away when you sober up. Even alcohol makes me feel super anxious now especially in excessive amounts. People wonder why anyone would try drugs again after experiencing psychosis and honestly it’s pretty simple. Life is so dull, pointless, and borin... Restaurants not trying to be fine dining2h agoI don't like fine dining - the sequence of many foam-decorated small dishes that try harder to get on your instagram than to fill your belly, all while costing you 50 euros. I prefer the main dish to be enough, with an optional appetiser if I'm too hungry to wait. But I find such restaurants to be too far and between in Utrecht (we're not talking pizza/ramen places). One such restaurant is Kounosuke. I also like Veldkeuken in Amelisweerd, and Meet and More. Any other ones? Where can I get a proper plate of good food for 25-30 euros in a nice restaurant setting, that won't leave me hungry if I don't order two appetisers before the main dish? ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
