Up front, I am no firewall expert so if there is something goofy, you aren't going to offend me by pointing it out. The router has three Vlans and is trunked to a smart switch where a hAP ax2 connects via ether1 which is also a trunk port. All the things work with the exception of when I connect a client to the AP. The client gets no internet access. In isolating this, it appears the Drop rules on the Input and Forward chains are the reason as I can disable them (and I have to disable both) and voila, internet access.
