Heard it a few times this year from more than 1 person and from multiple different sped room personnel. Also the term "brat" was directed at different nonverbal children I am not even in the special ed room, nor do I spend any significant amount of time near or in these people's presence. This leads me to believe that it is a school wide problem. I want to report it - but am afraid that I will endure repercussions as I am way down on the food chain, do not have a union protected job, and likely would be the one to not be renewed if I "cause" a problem.

So things are just ******* lately. Long story short, my wife, kids and I moved to Asheville nc back in November 2024. Reason for our move, my wife and I were working for a company that was trying to expand their footprint. I had a creative class I signed up for that’s scheduled weekly. I’m only able to go for it a few times a month because I have work most days. I’ve used air fryers for years and honestly, I don’t think they fully replace a traditional stove for most people. They replace part of it really well, but not the whole thing. For quick meals, reheating leftovers, frozen food, roasting veggies, chicken, potatoes, and even some baking, air fryers are amazing. They heat fast, use less electricity, and don’t make the kitchen feel like an oven in the middle of summer. I use mine almost every day because it’s just convenient. I'm 28 years old. Back around mid February I went in for routine labs with my primary care. I got a call a few hours later telling me to go to urgent care immediately because I had a blood glucose reading of 448mg/dL. I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and ended up staying at the hospital for multiple days to treat my DKA. This really confused me because diabetes does not run in my family and back then I always assumed that diabetes was only from sweets and I'm not very into them at all.
