Had two very different interviews and unsure if either were successful

4m ago

Hi all, I am fairly new to interviewing as most of my previous jobs were either grocery/fast food or temp where the interview process was none or non-existent. I just had two interviews yesterday for positions that almost 1 for 1 skill transferable from my previous job. Both interviews went extremely different. Interview 1: 3 different meetings with 5 different people, in person. First was with two managers, second was with two senior team members who I would work with, and third was with the Director of the department. Overall I think I did okay. They asked both standard interview questions and behavioral questions. After they showed me where I would work. This interview was an hour long...

How to get 1000 TikTok followers quickly?

4m ago

Getting to 1,000 followers on TikTok is the "holy grail" for new creators because it unlocks the ability to put a link in your bio and, most importantly, **go Live**. In 2026, the algorithm has shifted to prioritize "Search Intent" and "Watch Time" over raw hashtags, making the climb feel steeper than ever. If you want to hit that 1k mark this week, here is the updated Reddit-approved blueprint for rapid growth. # 1. The "Search First" Strategy (TikTok SEO) TikTok is effectively a search engine now. To get discovered, you need to stop guessing what people want and start answering what they are searching for. * **Keyword-Rich Captions:** Don't ...

The ACTUAL Science Behind Living Longer: what longevity research reveals (no BS)

6m ago

Started diving into longevity research after watching my grandparents struggle with aging. Spent months reading studies, listening to podcasts, watching lectures from actual scientists. Not the wellness influencer stuff, the real research. And honestly? Most of what we think about aging is completely wrong. Here's what blew my mind: aging isn't inevitable. It's actually a disease we can treat. Harvard geneticist David Sinclair has been screaming this for years and most people still don't get it. We're out here buying anti-aging creams while ignoring the actual levers that control how fast we age at the cellular level. The stuff that actually matters is surprisingly...

Anti Anxiety to fix stutter or not??

7m ago

I am a student currently and I speak fluently when talking to friends or family most of the time but near unknown people, ordering food at a restaurant and teachers I have a stutter like the words don’t come out even sometimes during attendance as well. Was thinking of taking Citalopram or other anti anxiety(suggest please). Do anyone have any experience taking these and does it really work fixing the stutter.

You know? I remember seeing one study that seemed to estimate the population size necessary for the measles persistence ...

Growing up, there was never a question that everyone goes to college. Curious for those that didn’t go to college, if you grew up knowing you likely would end up working fast food at 18?

Why Does the Game Look Like … This? | Some Background on Our Art Direction

9m ago

Hello everyone – and welcome to this week’s Steam post! A few weeks ago, PirateSoftware played our game on stream (full video [here](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2656237336?filter=highlights&sort=time)) and, at some point, said that “this is probably \[…\] one of the most interesting directions I’ve seen of a shooter game”. So today, we’ll be talking a little more about just that! From the very beginning, we were drawn to strange, unsettling universes where things don’t fully explain themselves – SCP, backrooms, this kind of stuff. Spaces that feel familiar at first glance, but wrong once you spend a little more time in them. Visually, we wanted that anomaly to f...

my father keeps commenting on how i eat

10m ago

growing up, i was always a picky eater. so was my dad, just less severe. when i hit around 12 I branched out a bit and started eating a better range, my dad did not and still lives on meat, potato and microwave meals. I don’t care about that, if he loves his steak and chips then he loves his steak and chips. but, he’s a very fast eater. like, plate of steak gone in 5 minutes, going for seconds. i am not. so often there’s arguments about how slowly i eat ‘god, do you even like that?!’ when I spend more than 15 minutes on a bowl, and arguments because he feels the need to point out how disgusting my food is. ‘that’s bland and disgusting’. why?? 💔

Elderly rat choking — need advice

11m ago

First things first— I have a vet appointment today for her (earliest i could get in was 3:40pm.) My dwarf dumbo girl Tuk is 2 years 10 months old. she woke me up this morning around 6 AM making unusual noise around the cage. Turns out she was choking and trying desperately to dislodge food, i think it’s carrot. she got out a really big hunk of orange food around 6:30Am, and another much smaller chuck around 9:30am. She’s still breathing very hard and wheezing, but she is breathing. Her lip isn’t blue, her feet are not blue, but she’s losing steam fast. she’s just so old that i think she doesn’t have the energy to dislodge the rest of it quickly. My plan is to monitor and not b...

Super Bowl weekend in Vegas — looking to switch it up (staying at Harrah’s)

12m ago

Hey everyone! Coming to Vegas for Super Bowl weekend with my husband (30s) and my parents (70s). We’ve been to Vegas many times, so we’re trying to switch it up with more unique/fun recs. We all gamble and drink, love good food, and we’re into shows (comedy, magic, live music, etc.). Since pools won’t really be the move, what are your favorite: • fun/unique bars or lounges (bonus for a great vibe / people-watching) • restaurants that feel “Vegas” but not the same old spots • happy hours worth going to • shows that are actually worth it • other things to do that work for a mixed-age group We’re staying at Harrah’s and totally fine with short rideshare trips. ...

Best IPTV Service for USA, Canada & Worldwide – Honest Review of TiviPortal IPTV (2026)

I’ve tested many IPTV services over the years, and honestly, most of them ended the same way: ❌ buffering during live sports ❌ missing or dead channels ❌ poor customer support ❌ services shutting down without notice After weeks of daily use, **TiviPortal** **IPTV** is one of the few services that has remained **stable, smooth, and reliable** across the USA, Canada, and worldwide. Everything Bagel, gluten-free bakery in Paramus

14m ago

Just wanted to share a positive experience with this place, which is located on NJ 17 south jn Paramus (just north of Shake Shack). It’s one of a handful of places I can walk to from my job. I’ve been in there maybe five times so far and enjoyed everything I tried (mostly soup and sandwiches) but the people are also really nice. It’s not a restaurant per se but they do have limited seating and when I dined in the chef/owner brought me my food when it was ready and later checked in on me again. Not your typical bagel shop treatment. The other thing I mention only because it is a little harder to find, I noticed yesterday they make a variety of gluten free desserts on site. I only trie...

Today we're having Japanese-style Chinese food!

こんにちは! I’m Taka, a taxi driver in Osaka 🚕 It’s been a week since my last Reddit post. I was busy working on my Instagram and X (Twitter)! If you’re curious about what I’ve been up to, feel free to check my profile. From now on, I’ll be using multiple social media platforms. Today I want to introduce a very popular restaurant:Gyoza no Ohsho 🥟 It’s a Chinese-style restaurant chain with over 700 locations in Japan. The food is adapted to Japanese taste. Here’s what I ordered today: ◯ Extra Garlic Gyoza More garlic than usual. Perfect with a cold beer 🍺 ◯ Fried Noodles (Age-soba) Crispy noodles with thick, hot soup. You get both crunchy and soft texture...
