I live in a typical American suburb, and for years now, even before Covid, I've wondered how certain local business manage to make a profit, let alone survive. The pizza, bagel, and sushi places definitely make money. Those foods are popularly liked and always in demand. But what about little family restaurants in odd locations that are really slow on weekdays, serve mid-tier food, and don't get much busier on the weekends? Or small clothing stores that get very little foot traffic and sell a rather limited selection of clothing. Or even coffee shops that only sell maybe 50 drinks a day. I have gained 16 kg in the last two years due to stress and my insulin levels are on the edge and I'm using a pill for that for some time and I was told maybe it could make me lose my appetite but I'm the same lol and as soon as I wake up I'm hungry and if I can't eat something fast I feel horrible. I know you all **** Burger King fries but II think it’s only because they have the easiest fries to mess up. You only get a good batch about 1/4 of the time, depending on the location. However, when you get the perfect batch they pair better with a hamburger than any chain out there. They have the best “cut.” They are thicker than most places and they actually taste like potatoes. They don’t rely on fancy seasoning and they don’t have to change recipes every few years like their red head competitors.
