Took the wife for a valentines/birthday brunch at Le Jardinier on the 14th. Here's my assessment if it's helpful for anyone else: Cost: $350 all in for x2 ppl (valentines brunch with NO wine pairing). Food: 8/10 Service: 8/10 Ambiance: 9/10 We did the annual Valentine's day brunch- which i'm happy we did as opposed to the dinner. They validate parking at the indoor garage which is pretty sweet- could just roll in on a crummy day and go from car to restaurant completely covered. For the past week, I have been doing OMAD and I wanted to share and see if others have done similar fasting routines. For me, the hardest part of a calorie deficit is splitting it up into 3 low calorie meals (I eat in a college dining hall full of tempting foods). Now that I have switched to one meal a day, I can eat whatever I want and I am for sure going to stay in a deficit, which has been freeing for me as someone who has been worrying about eating only healthy foods for my entire life! This year so far has been the worst depression wise, but enough about that.I use food to cope, which isn't a really healthy thing to do but I have to keep myself sane somehow. I’m hearing a lot about the Haleem situation in Hyderabad. The price, the quality, even the elite restaurants offering **** for premium prices. I came to the USA in 2022 as a student and living in a college town meant no access to Haleem during the season and we had to travel almost 100km to taste. I just got back from Mirabel, I wouldn't say it was that bad. It is definitely a work in progress compared to other Secrets, lots of stairs. And for some odd reason people would wake up at 4am and reserve chairs by the pool, meanwhile at other Secrets that was never the case and a chair was always available... so odd, something to note. The property has ton of stairs, and they started to do construction which blocked one of the main entrances, that was annoying. Service is great overall, but for dinner it takes a while (here and at every secrets property I've been to) expect to be at dinner for over 2 hours wait time included. It’s on my bucket list to ski at Dolomites and watching the Olympics has gotten me more motivated to make it happen! Has anyone gone there during the week leading up to Christmas (Dec 20-26)?
