I used to be a college athlete but I have since let myself go pretty hard and got up to 287lbs. My big issue is I wasn’t eating a ton prior, I was just very inconsistent with my eating schedule and when I did eat it was usually fast food and soda. Now I am 2 weeks soda and fast food free, I have been active in the gym again, taking 1-2 days off a week but otherwise training hard. To be in a caloric deficit I am eating under 2,000 calories a day, and always prioritizing hitting over 240 grams of protein a day. I am also exhausted 24/7 because of my lack of carb or fat intake. (30M) Just wrapped up my second three-day water fast today at 12 noon CET. It had its ups and downs: Day two was definitely the toughest. But overall it’s been a really positive experience. A bit of fatigue crept in here and there, but otherwise I feel good, clear-headed, and surprisingly energized. Kept up my indoor cycling routine. Just wanted a share my experience with treating my skin condition (not sure exactly what it was since I never went to the doctor). I was battling inflamed , dry, flaky skin (on my face) that comes and goes in intervals. There was no rules to it and took me years to figure out how to get rid of it.
