So, last year I started my end tipping journey, and now only seldomly tip at a locally owned coffee shop, for example. Once in a while I still feel pressured at other places and leave a $1 tip but never at fast food anymore (yay!), and never for delivery services or taxis. (I already paid the delivery fee, I am not going to pay a second one, when delivery drivers in my area have a guaranteed wage) Since I stopped tipping, I avoided going to sit-down restaurants since a tip is very expected in that atmosphere. I'm autistic and really germy so I have sworn to myself to never work in fast food/ handling food at all. im in a relatively small town and all we have is a local walmart, which i currently work at.
