My friend lives in USA and she has asked me if I need anything from there. What are some things that I can ask her to buy for me? I am not into phones or devices so please stick food and vanity items.

Female Veiltail, I've had her for about a month. 10 gallon tank with lots of live plants. We usually feed twice a day and fast on Mondays, she just fasted yesterday but she is still looking a bit round to me. She got frozen brine shrimp for the first time on Saturday and then Top fin betta pellets the next day. I think maybe it was too much? Water tested fine but nitrites were slightly elevated (I think due to overfeeding and then being unable to get the lost food out) and one of my nerites officially died yesterday (got it out of the tank when I noticed a lack of activity). I'm planning a water change today but what else should I do? she is acting fine otherwise.

Question for back of the house. First off, I generally tip generously and I prefer to leave cash tips. I’ve recently have had a few experiences where the service has been poor but the food has been very good. In these cases I’ve still left a 20% or greater tip hoping that the kitchen staff is getting a portion of the tip I’m leaving. My question is do the tips make it to the cooks and dishwashers? Would it be better to leave the tip on my card? I don’t slam restaurants on social media or complain to management… that’s not my style. I just don’t like rewarding bad service but don’t like shorting the kitchen staff.
