I've reached my patience limit. Despite adding a 24% tip to an order from Penn station my driver decided to pick up 2 other orders after picking up mine, and deliver them first. My food arrived ice cold. The restaurant is 1.5 miles from my home. This happens 3 out 4 times I order food delivery. (From any local restaurant). I've gone as high as 35% tips and the outcome is the same. My first question - what is your average tip for short deliveries? Percentages are fine. \#2 - do you care if the food arrives warm or not? \#3 - Are you concerned with a bad rating if you take your time delivering to a client? I can only provide my experience, 6’4 from 250 to 210 in 9 or 10 months. 1. Break free from the idea you are going to have a full meal every night and for God’s sake, don’t think it’s mandatory. Eat small breakfast, bagel, yogurt and regular lunch. 2. Eat regular dinner 2-3 x per week. The other nights nibble on fruit, a bananas, oranges or grapefruit 1-2 each. 3. Take your weight every morning and make a competition with yourself to keep going lower. 4. If you eat a large dinner or pizza, fast food, feel what it’s like.
