I wanted nothing more than to breastfeed my son as long as possible due to all the wonderful benefits, but mostly because I have a ton of food allergies which is genetically linked and breastfeeding is a strong protector against them. Resurants don't want to pay a fair wage but they keep employees of rippers especially high tippers who want to boost about how much they gave. If we didn't tip then it would focus resurants to raise their wage. We don't tip fast food places like McDonalds and Wendy's. Those restaurants HAVE RAISED THEIR WAGES TO KEEP EMPLOYEES. So tipping is stopping the restaurants from paying a living wage.

You really cannot trust them. I work in fast food, my job is not partnered with door dash so the dasher has to order at the register, therefore they grab the drink. I WATCHED AS A DASHER TOOK A BIG LIPS TO CUP DRINK OF SOMEONE ELSES DRINK. He refilled it and put a lid on it, grab the straw and left like he didn't just drink out of a customer's cup. My managers told me it happens often and we can't even report them. Gross. Disgusting. Don't trust doordash. Its not all of them but you don't know which ones it is.

So this is my first Ramadan not fasting after doing it my whole life. I’ve slowly been letting go of Islam after realising I didn’t agree with a lot of what the Qur’an advocates (I’m a woman and LGBTQ+). I’ve slowly phased out halal food and praying but letting go of the communal rituals is the hardest part. Anyone know of how to deal with the anxiety/guilt? My brain is telling me to just pray/fast to get rid of the feeling but that’ll be going back to square one.
