Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Fast Foods Latest Community Discussions About Fast Foods in USStarting my fast day 138m ago This is an accountability post. I’m starting my fast today. I want to do it for 7 to 10 days, but I’ll be satisfied if I can do it for at least 3 days. My starting weight is 75 kg, and my height is 157 cm. I had fast food 4 hours ago. How are you guys increasing sales in your convenience store? Here’s what’s actually working for me39m agoI’ve been looking into ways to improve sales in a small convenience store, and honestly, it’s not as simple as “just get more customers.” Margins are tight, and most people come in, grab 1–2 things, and leave. So I started focusing on *how to get people to buy a little more each visit*—and a few things actually made a noticeable difference. **1. Store layout matters way more than I thought** I used to just place products wherever there was space. Big mistake. Now I keep high-demand items at eye level and put snacks/drinks near the checkout. People *definitely* pick up more impulse items when they’re right in front of them. **2. Impulse buying is basically everything** ... My husband started eating healthier after I started with my GLP-140m agoMy husband has eaten fast food 5x a week for a decade, which is really unhealthy and I’ve talked to him about it for a long time now. But suddenly, two weeks into my Mounjaro journey, he's been ordering salads and asking about meal prep. It’s just a small wonder that he’s actually taking the effort of doing what he can to be together with me on my journey, just the two of us making our lives better for each other and for our futures. So just a quick little aside for all of you with spouses or partners on these drugs but aren’t themselves, just do what you can to accompany them. It just goes a long way and shows that you really do care. I mean that’s how it’s been with my hus... Any food spots/restaurants with 4/20 specials today?40m agoPretty self explanatory based off the title, but I'm sure there will be some spots like Poes with some fun food specials today. Searching for the East Village of 'No Picnic' (Gift Article)41m ago*To get more culture coverage of NYC and to see all of the photos in this piece,* [*subscribe to **** Gate*](https://hellgatenyc.com/searching-for-the-east-village-of-no-picnic/)*.* You can't put your arm around a memory. In "No Picnic," newly restored and [opening Friday at Film Forum](https://filmforum.org/events/event/no-picnic-april-17?ref=hellgatenyc.com), nostalgia for the old East Village is rampant—even though the film premiered in 1986. It follows Mac (David Brisbin), who used to be in a post-punk band, and used to be in a relationship; now, he meanders through his old haunts working as a jukebox repairman, and searches for a woman—known only as "Stripe,&qu... BBQ spicy pork recipe without gochujang42m agoMy friend bought me korean bbq spicy pork takeaway once when I was in Sydney and it taste so good. But I'm no longer there and have no idea what restaurant it was from. The spicy pork is tender, a bit watery, the color is orange not red and I didn't taste any strong gochujang flavor in it, a little spicy which I assume from Gochugaru, not too sweet like bulgogi, but more savory, iirc they also use onion. When I search for recipe, most using gochujang and I've tried cooking multiple time using different recipes with gochujang but it doesn't taste like that takeaway, I feel like gochujang overpowered the dish and I don't particularly enjoy it. I like spicy food tho... NYC parents who needed a nanny who speaks your home language: how did you find them?43m agoMy wife left Ukraine right after the Soviet Union fell apart, so she speaks Russian at home. When we started looking for a nanny, we specifically wanted someone who could speak Russian with our kids. That search was brutal. Agencies didn't really understand what we were looking for. Facebook groups moved too fast and the good recommendations were gone by the next day. There was no real way to filter by language or cultural background on any of the platforms we tried. We eventually found someone, but it took months and felt way harder than it should have been. I'm curious how other NYC parents handled this, especially families where English isn't the only language at home. Di... Do thyroid hormones play a role in cholesterol levels?43m agoSeriously. I joined this sub thinking I'd find some "confort" about my results, but it scared me even more. First off, you guys seem to be going well... me? Not that much: Male, 37 years old, 85 kg ≈ 187.4 pounds (lbs), 1,85m (6 feet 0.8 inches) Workout 5 days / week Never smoked / no alchool (not even in social events) Bike every weekend I live in Italy so I eat very sane food (no fast food) Nevertheless: +---------------------------+------------+--------+----------------------+ | Test | Date | Value | Reference | +---------------------------+------------+--------+----------------------+ | Total Cholesterol ... What workflows are you hitting a ceiling on even with n8n + Claude Code + LLMs?47m agoNot talking about simple API chaining or "summarize this email and send a Slack message" stuff. I mean the multi-step workflows where you need the system to actually reason across data from different sources, plan what to do, handle exceptions differently depending on context, and then loop back and adjust based on what happened last time. Example from my world: I wanted to automate lifecycle campaign management. Sounds straightforward until you realize the agent needs to pull behavioral data from the CDP, cross-reference with purchase history in another system, decide which segment to target and why, generate the campaign in the ESP, wait for results, interpret what worked and wh... Food poisoning/gastro and shot day50m agoThis Sunday will mark my 3 months anniversary on the med and I’ve just experienced my first sickness while on the med! All I ate yesterday was some leftover from a Turkish restaurant around noon, very simple non greasy non spicy food but unfortunately it caused me horrible stomach aches in the evening, so bad that I couldn’t eat anything for the rest of the day. Then gastro symptoms started overnight and continuing today. Still haven’t eaten anything since yesterday but I’m focusing on hydration for now. My worry now is that tonight is shot day… I kind of want to give myself the injection as planned and not delay it but I wonder if that’s the smartest thing.. I’m thinking th... Worth adding 2 nights in Munich flying Paris → Munich → (train Sunday) Vienna? We love walking, shopping, eating &am...50m agoWe're planning a Europe trip and trying to decide if **2 nights in Munich** is worth it on our route. **Itinerary so far:** * Fly into Paris for the first part of our week there * Fly **Paris to Munich** * Spend **2 nights / about 2 days** in Munich * Take the train **Munich to Vienna on Sunday** (we read that pretty much everything is closed on Sundays in both Germany and Austria, so we want to avoid wasting a full shopping/wandering day) * Flight back to Vienna on Thursday * Fly back to Paris for the rest of our Paris time (total \~1 week split in Paris) We’re a couple who really enjoy **wandering aimlessly**, **people-watching**, **shopping** (nice streets, markets, little loc... Pink Big Arch51m agoI still ate it but this was a very pink burger for a fast food burger. Hi! Moving To LA Next Week. Pro-level on Avaya Legacy PBX’s. Looking for 1099 contract work.51m agoHi Low Voltage gang, I’ll try to keep this brief, but I have a pretty long history with communication systems which started in 1999. I started with a small business in Manhattan, hired to tag along with one of the owners and learn how to run cat3 and occasionally some cat5 in my mid-20s. Shortly, maybe even a month after I was learning how to program the Lucent PBX’s they had a leasing agreement with, mostly learning on the Partner language. Feature 00 gang. The owners were knowledgeable people, I leaned a lot there in the 5 years I stuck with it. Got to work in hundreds of different offices all over the tri-state area. Watched along with my boss at a safe enough distance to see one of... Kalshi Review 2026: Free $25 Bonus on the Only Legal Sports Betting Prediction Market in All 50 States53m ago# Hey everyone, # I’m pinning this Kalshi review because a lot of people have been asking about ways to get legal sports betting action in states that don’t have traditional sportsbooks yet. # Kalshi is a CFTC-regulated prediction market that lets you trade on sports outcomes — spreads, player props, game winners, totals, and more. # It’s structured as event contracts instead of traditional bets against the house. # You buy “Yes” or “No” contracts, prices move based on what other users think, and you can cash out early if you want. # The biggest advantage: Kalshi is currently legal and available in all 50 states. # That makes it one of the only platforms giving consi... I **** my family, and I need help coping with it.1h agoA situation occurred this time last year and since then I (24F) have been unsettled. I doubt I have healed from everything that happened in my past and feel some wounds may have been reopened. I don’t know how to deal with these feelings or stop thinking about them, if you have any advice that would be greatly appreciated. This is a long story involving my family so buckle up. As a child, my dad’s relatives were my favourite people to be around, they were so fun and I looked up to and admired them. My dad has four siblings, each with children of their own - a big family I know - but our large number would make hangouts super fun. We are asian so family ties are a core value for us. Th... Viral Vents: Some musings on this week's update (4/18/26)1h agoMachine updates: I'm underwhelmed and disappointed. "A great new machine" should not have been Brainrot Machine 1.75. Diluting odds of getting higher value rots by adding "groups/tiers" was not the right answer to "How can we improve the machine?". I was one of the few people hoping for a crafting-style machine, so maybe that ties into it. Walkouts are already RNG, the machine would have been nicer to be a bit more predictable and instead it went completely and way into the other direction. The sub getting shafted on the final machine level of 100m/s instead of 3-5% odds still irritates me every time I think of it. Goat bros and gorg have gotten odds bump e... Game is amazing1h agoGoing to gush a lil \-**Everyone's so kind and helpful, people actually interact:** Had some give pet food when I ran out, had others give tips and guides on where to train, ppl give free crafting for people that can't afford to lvl crafting. Everyone is generally a lot more patient to help out newbies \-**The tiniest upgrades feel so meaningful:** The upgrade in gear every 5 levels feels like a tiny chase to keep lvling. No more the days where you're only wearing a yellow umbrella, attack work glove, fish on a stick, sauna robe. Secondary stats actually matter for gear and not just main stat and attack. Also getting the SP to unlock a new skill feels so great! \-**Each c... Pubs and Restaurants: The home of food and conversation (and stat upgrades)1h agoThe pub is where most people come to relax, but you're here to try out new foods and upgrade your stats... oh and also relax. Eating meals costs meal tickets at a rate of 1 ticket per person, and you're not required to feed the whole party at one time. The name of the game is culinary exploration - characters only get the stat benefits from trying items they've never had before (don't worry about remembering that, the system won't allow you to give them things they've already tasted) Once everyone's happy with their orders, they will partake in 1 of 60 random short conversations, which will never repeat during a single playthrough. The bar will eve... I have come to terms with hating my family.1h agoA situation occurred this time last year and since then I (24F) have been unsettled.
