Fantastic Sams Locations

I work at a fantastic Sam’s that seems to be dying out I’m trying to get clientele in but no one seems to grab on how can I market myself and the salon so I can get some clients in?

Looking for a budget friendly women’s haircut that’s $50 or less! Honestly just looking for something very basic that involves a trim and lots of layering (long hair) so it seems silly to pay $100+. I tried Fantastic Sams and had a terrible experience there because they don’t seem to understand how haircuts and layering works. TIA!

So I know when my sister left school in NC she stopped at 1200 hours and went to get her apprenticeship license and was an apprentice at Fantastic Sam’s for about 4 months after that. If you follow the degree track at a community college I would imagine you could hit 1500 hours before your semester is over if you don’t miss any days. If I have 1500 hours before the semester is over am I able to dip or do I have to finish the semester for those hours to count?

Sam Tyler - Life On Mars I watched LOM last year and dude, I adored it's enthralling premise and and cast, with Sam being no exception, I haven't seen Ashes to Ashes, which I hear clears up plot details, (again, no spoilers please??) but even with Life on Mar's controversial ending, I can't help but love it.

As the title says, I’m leaving tomorrow after work for vacation so I stopped in the local Fantastic Sam’s to get my hair trimmed Monday evening after work. I asked the (toddler) acting manager if she had time to put some dye on my hair to refresh the current icy blue. While apologetic, she said no due to it being too close to their closing time. Cool cool. I’ll live. She looked at me, smiled brightly and said “I just LOOOOOVE when women your age dye their hair fashion colors. It’s just awesome how yall step out of your comfort zone like that!” Listen, I may be 56 but I’m not old. I swear I’m not. Except when my knees hurt. GET OFF MY LAWN!

EDIT EMERGENCY: I start tomorrow and basically the owner showed us the ropes of the pos and we’re now in charge of everything. We schedule amongst ourselves. There’s 3 of us, 7 days, and I have no idea of availability/reliability. We have no product for styling men’s cuts or women’s. We have no color only bleach and toning and that’s only N line and some outliers (redken). We have all perming products I think but we didn’t go over that. My mom is looking to get a spiral perm done. She’s pretty frugal and normally gets it done at fantastic Sam’s (plenty where we moved from) but there’s only 1 up here in buffalo. So she’s looking for a place that can do the perm for less than 200, if anyone has any recommendations please let us know!

Good folks of nwa, we’re back for year 2 of our comedy fest in under a month. Last year 1700 people came out. We had three packed days of shows and parties all night. Join us this year? I've been going mostly to fantastic Sam's and the like, but recently wanted to try going to someplace that can do hair, beard and brows. I dont have a full beard, just thought that these places might cater to guys more? Anyone have any suggestions that won't break the bank and is gay friendly? I live between orlando and sanford, so would like to stay around this area, but willing to travel a bit further if it's worth it. Thanks!

It's on alpine, I always forget the name but the food ... The food is one thing I won't 😏😏 that chicken torta goes hard ASF. But they're not showing up on Google or anything any ATP I'm about to call Google myself and tell them to put them on the maps bc they deserve that recognition 😭😭

I know it rare and has value. eBay shows same obo sales for 80 and 90. The cards were almost perfect for those. I’m only a few months in so would love some input from more experienced collectors. Yes I know, buy what you like etc… but I like rare stuff that you can’t just walk into a shop and get. The car is cool and I feel like Fantastic Sam’s owes me some joy after all the ****** up haircuts they gave me as a kid. I’d like to know your thoughts

I was rewatching the fantastic Sam Raimi western The Quick and the Dead from 1995 and was surprised to see that Tobin Bell plays the first character we see on screen, who then goes on to be the first character that Sharon Stone’s character kills in a duel. Just before they draw, he tells her “you’re dead meat” and I couldn’t help but think of how much James and Chelsea would probably love that little tidbit, knowing how much they adore Tobin in the Saw movies.

Hi hello! So here is the problem I’m having. Historically I have only been able to afford to go to places like GreatClips or Fantastic Sam’s to get haircuts, but asking for anything outside of basic styles has lead me to a lot of Karen looks and having to doctor (butcher) it at home myself. Does anyone work at any of these places/somewhere that I can get a haircut for under $40 and also feels confident that they could do like less standard cuts? Girl mullets, weird styles with undercuts, etc. Is that too complicated and I’m asking too much for my price range? Totally understandable if so, I’d just like to know! Thank you for your time!!! 🥰

i just started working at fantastic sams and have absolutely no experience cutting mens hair. this guy came in for a mid taper fade today and me and the other girl working have like never done one. the guy called at 7:40, we closed at 8 tonight, and he said he’d get there at 7:50 so i took one for the team and did it in like 10 minutes and didn’t think it was the worst thing ever. UNTIL i started watching fading tutorials later tonight and realized it was awful when comparing it to pro barbering pics. i feel awfulll. i know its not the end of the world but does anyone have advice on getting better and getting over the **** ups. everytime i do a bad haircut i feel like i’m consumed by h...

So after YEARS of going to great clips to cut my hair (gasp, ik) and then thinking I was stepping up my game by going to fantastic sams only for them to give me the worst haircut of my life…I vowed to only go to professionals from now on. Apparently, all my friends go to professionals and I was crazy for not doing that lol. I just want a regular trim with long layers, nothing special. I asked one stylist and she charges $110, is that a lot? And dang it, why are women’s haircuts SO MUCH more than men’s?

Okay, Fantastic Sam's has given me one too many crappy haircuts. I'm desperate. Looking for a men's barber who can consistently give me a nice fade. Thanks!
