Fantastic Sams Locations

Not sure if this is a good subreddit for this question, but figured I’d try. I’m looking for a hair salon in/around the Twin Cities that does women’s hair perms or wave perms. I used to get them at Fantastic Sam’s but they messed it up a couple times and once gave me a really bad haircut I ***** for months. Any recommendations? A reasonably priced salon would also be great.

Hi everyone I just got my cosmetology license and I’m planning on getting more experience at either Supercuts or Fantastic Sams. What are the pros and cons of both? How are the schedules? I’m also planning on being a junior stylist or assistant at a local salon. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!

This feels a lil bit like a silly question, but does SuperCuts (or any of the cheap salons like Fantastic Sams, etc) actually style hair?- I've only ever gone to Supercuts for hair cuts where they buzz the sides and back so that it's not on my ears/neck and trim the top so it isnt in my eyes. But with an event coming up that I'm gonna be getting my hair cut for anyways i was wondering if they would be able to style it for me or if that's something that I should know how to do before the hair cut It'd just be them braiding the hair on the top since I've been growing that out while keeping everything else short. I have been going to fantastic Sam’s for my haircuts and I love them but I have not 1000% loved my cut once I dry and style it. Looking for someone under $200 who can style and cut it customized to my curls

I have long layered hair and have been going to the same hairdresser for almost 20 years. Unfortunately I've been unemployed for almost 5 years, have no income and can no longer afford $60 haircuts. Should I explain the situation to my hairdresser and ask if she would be willing to cut my hair for $30 (even $30 will be a stretch for me), and if she's not, let her know I won't be able to continue being a client? Or would it be better to just ghost her? And should I start going to a cheap chain like fantastic Sam's instead or attempt cutting my hair myself? Has anyone here with long layered hair tried cutting their own hair before? What was the result?)

I'm looking for any recommendations for a salon in parker or near parker that anybody knows of that is able to do mens perms any good? I've tried going to places like Fantastic Sams and other commercial salons and they always seem to somehow mess it up no matter how many different people try.

I’m 24F looking to get a haircut & start the next year off with a fresh chop of my hair. Preferably a place that isn’t over priced for their services. I don’t need anything special, back home I’ve went to the same fantastic sams ladies since my first trims in middle school & when I’m back home to visit I’ll get a routine cut there. I have thick Polynesian hair down to my lower back & in dire need of a reset, I’m thinking shoulder length. Please comment recommendations!

I work at a fantastic Sam’s that seems to be dying out I’m trying to get clientele in but no one seems to grab on how can I market myself and the salon so I can get some clients in?

Looking for a budget friendly women’s haircut that’s $50 or less! Honestly just looking for something very basic that involves a trim and lots of layering (long hair) so it seems silly to pay $100+. I tried Fantastic Sams and had a terrible experience there because they don’t seem to understand how haircuts and layering works. TIA!

So I know when my sister left school in NC she stopped at 1200 hours and went to get her apprenticeship license and was an apprentice at Fantastic Sam’s for about 4 months after that. If you follow the degree track at a community college I would imagine you could hit 1500 hours before your semester is over if you don’t miss any days. If I have 1500 hours before the semester is over am I able to dip or do I have to finish the semester for those hours to count?

Sam Lowry - Brazil Brazil is one of my favourite films of all time, and Jonathan Pryce's performance as Sam is just fantastic. Sam Beckett - Quantum Leap Although I'm only on the second season thus far (no spoilers please?) Sam has been a joy to watch. Sam Tyler - Life On Mars I watched LOM last year and dude, I adored it's enthralling premise and and cast, with Sam being no exception, I haven't seen Ashes to Ashes, which I hear clears up plot details, (again, no spoilers please??) but even with Life on Mar's controversial ending, I can't help but love it.

As the title says, I’m leaving tomorrow after work for vacation so I stopped in the local Fantastic Sam’s to get my hair trimmed Monday evening after work. I asked the (toddler) acting manager if she had time to put some dye on my hair to refresh the current icy blue. While apologetic, she said no due to it being too close to their closing time. Cool cool. I’ll live. She looked at me, smiled brightly and said “I just LOOOOOVE when women your age dye their hair fashion colors. It’s just awesome how yall step out of your comfort zone like that!” Listen, I may be 56 but I’m not old. I swear I’m not. Except when my knees hurt. GET OFF MY LAWN!
