I’m trying to write a song in the style of the A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out era.

I want your opinion on this song. Is it too long, or are the words too much?

Obtaining Production Access on Google Play

7m ago

I'm developing a game for mobile phones. Now it turns out most of my friends and family use iphones, so getting access to production on app store connect was not that hard. Google play however requires 12 testers to participate (they probably check for different devices) and actively play the game. Ideally they all send feedback via the official google forms as well. Now I don't have 12 people available for testing on android devices. How do you deal with this hurdle? PS1: I know you can create 12 gmail accounts yourself and just do it that way, and I tried, but the good people at google aren't that ****. So my request for production got rejected. PS2: I'm not compl...

Healthy, but Not Losing Weight...

9m ago

Hi everyone! I came here to vent/ ask for advice about the title. Long story short, high school me(currently 22/F), had some pretty poor eating habits/ behaviors. I was 15 and 235lbs, but after pressure from my pediatrician and family I stopped eating entirely and relied on diet coke and cherry kickstarters to lose a TON of weight. At 16, I hit 180lbs, but it didn't last long. One long term relationship and 4 years of dining hall food later, I'm 310lbs. During my junior year of college, blood pressure was insanely high and I constantly felt terrible. Since then, I've completely cut sugar (snack cakes, pop, candy) from my daily diet, eat out less, and exercise more, but I'...

AITAH for burning his letter and being too scared to talk with my sister?

14m ago

To start off, this happened two years ago, 2023. At the time I was 13 going on 14, I’m 16 currently. Also, this is excruciatingly long, sorry. I used to be very close with my sister (27F) and her fiancé (29M). I had a complicated home life at the time, which led me to hang around my sister, we’ll call her Riley, and her fiancé, who we’ll call Adam. I’d know Adam for almost five years now and he had just recently proposed to my sister 5 months ago, at the time. I used to hang out with Adam and Riley consistently every day, even sometimes having ‘sleepovers’ at Adam’s house. (Which wasn’t really his considering he lived with his family at the time.) Even when my sister was...

My girlfriend lost her father

17m ago

Sorry for this not being the usual art post, but recently my girlfriend's father passed away, and her mother is struggling to support their family. They opened a gofundme and gave me permission to share it. If you're able and willing, even just a dollar or two helps. I'll try and get back to normal art posts soon, thank you in advance for your support. https://gofund.me/129db600

Do you commit a crime? nah I'm going to train the Avatar instead

Hey everyone. Have you guys ever been pressured into running a game faster then you would like?. Because I have. and now my player's are shocked that I'm burned out and don't want to run the game for them anymore. I'm going to call my friends. M, S, J, C, and J2, and me is me. So this all started months 3 ago. I was wanting to try one of my new TTRPG's I got from my local game store. I had a few ideas for how I would run them. One of these TTRPG's was a game I was very interested in running but was also a little scared of running. And Because God hates me, the TTRPG my friends chose for me to run was that very one. It was Avatar Legends. It's the TTRPG ...

Should I leave my partner (29M)?

24m ago

My partner (29M) and I (31F) have been together for 10 months. Due to circumstances out of our control, we needed to move in together around 4 months ago. I knew prior to this that he had taken out a $10k loan before our relationship, and he had told me he had paid off a few thousand dollars. Once we moved in, he was struggling with the budget that I had set up for us both which covered all of our expenses and included our salaries, even though he was also working overtime. This raised alarm bells and I asked about his debt again. I found out that his $10k loan was consolidated with another $10k loan, meaning he owed around $16k at 16% interest. When we started dating, I told him how import...

Desperately need money/a job but can't seem to find anything.

26m ago

I don't have much experience. I've worked babysitting/nanny jobs for family and friends and waitressed in my friends' restaurant, both under the table. I have an associates degree in general studies. I don't have reliable transportation which is a huge problem. I've tried looking a job locally, but there's nothing. All stores, restaurants, etc. that don't require any degree or experience are out of range for me. I've tried looking for an online/remote job but I don't really know what I'm doing. Everything I see either requires a degree/experience that I don't have or seems like a scam. I'm barely keeping my head above water. M...

I Discovered A Book In My Library That Seems To Predict The Deaths Of My Friends And Family. Every Single One Of Them Is...

28m ago

It was a rainy Saturday morning, and I could hear the rain tapping against my window. I looked up from my laptop and let out a soft sigh. The sound was somewhat annoying, yet also oddly soothing, and I thought it might help me focus on the history essay I needed to finish for school. As I kept typing away on my laptop, I suddenly heard yelling and shouting. I paused, my fingers hovering over the keyboard, and groaned quietly to myself. "Not again." I got up from my bed and walked out of my room, heading down the hall and downstairs, where the yelling grew louder. As I turned the corner, I spotted my Mom and older brother Mark in the living room, arguing about something. "...

Autistic kids and food

31m ago

After a little advice. I am the one doing the cooking in the house, I love it, I take pride in it and the family (DH, SS17 (100%) and SS11 (EOWE)) love my cooking. They thank me for meals, help clean up after….SS17 just bought me a deep dish pizza pan as I’d eyed off one in a store. We’ve been blending 6 years and I’m currently training to be a step families coach. I went through very rough times blending year 2 and 3. I did a lot of changing and took accountability for my actions. I have changed a lot. My 17 year old step son, had a large sit down chat with me last night. He’s very open with me and is getting used to having his opinions and suggestions heard, validated and tak...

Is this a thing? (Storing food in mouth and referring to myself as a separate person)

35m ago

When I was a child, I used to stuff my mouth with food when I eat. I mean stuff more into my mouth and store it in my cheeks, even before I swallow what's already in my mouth. I used to do this a lot especially with rice or grits. I never had an issue with food nor a food insecurity. This was just always a habit for me and I think I still kind of do it, but I don't pay much attention to it much now. Nobody in my family did this so I don't know where the habit came from. Does anyone else experience that and do you think it's a trait? The second thing is, when I'm alone by myself, I like to talk and think out loud. Everything happens in my head, so I will react to fu...

LOCATION: Camarillo, CA On the evening of 5/9/25, my BF and I were leaving the Camarillo Outlets (in Camarillo, CA) after only having been there for about 30 min. We spontaneously decided to stop by the Outlets while on our way home, not realizing the time was about 7:30 PM and most, if not all, stores were set to close at 8 PM. I only made it into one store for about 5 min. and then headed back to my car where my BF was waiting for me. Neither of us did anything shady nor were we acting sketchy or attracting unwanted attention to ourselves for any reason at all. We were literally doing nothing wrong. Anyways, my BF started driving (my car) and was making his way through the parking lot, ...

My late auntie lied to me for years about an inheritance and I **** her for it

39m ago

My great great auntie passed when she was 97 last year and she was fairly wealthy. She was on my bio mom’s side which is incredibly small (I only really personally knew her and few folks I could count on one hand). She had no children herself but adored me and showered me in gifts growing up but due to legal issues with my biological mother (my auntie’s great niece) off and on my entire life (I didn’t always live with her), we were separated officially when I was 11/12 and I didn’t reconnect with my auntie until my mid twenties. During this time she promised me the world, I mean her home and her heirlooms from her relatives and all these crazy wonderful treasures. I never asked for ...

I work at a grocery store that doesn't take cash (pt. 13)

40m ago

I tapped my fingers against the table, the soft rhythm filling the space between heartbeats. My thoughts spun fast, but I held onto the feeling—like I was circling something just out of reach. We didn’t need much. Just a crack in his focus. A sliver of time. Something that would draw his attention without setting off the alarm bells that lived behind his too-wide smile. I stared down at my coffee, watching the steam curl and dance, fragile and vanishing. Like a thought. Like a memory. Then it came to me. Sharp. Clean. Perfect. I looked up at Mabel, adrenaline rising like a tide under my skin. “You’re going to give him a memory,” I said, voice low, deliberate. She blinked. “...

My mom has a cognitive level the same as someone with early dementia

44m ago

I don't know if this is the right group, but I am writing this because I am confused, and I would like to understand more. The social worker did a test with my mom to know how her cognitive levels are, and it hit pretty low. She made her draw a clock, she drew in the same way that someone with Alzheimer's would do. She did simple questions like what year we are living, and my mom said 2013, then she fixed her answer, saying 2023, she was so confused. She did many others test and she failed in every single one. Now, growing up, everyone in the family knew that my mom was "slow" in understanding. She had multiple epileptic seizures as a kid, she never finished the primary...
