I have a 7 year old lab with allergies. A few years ago our vet told us to freeze her dry food at least 48 hours and store it in an airtight container to kill any mites in the food. It has been the biggest win for her allergy! However, we’re now switching to Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin Salmon, and after reading the posts on this sub, I’m afraid if that particular brand is more likely to get mold if frozen? Should I still continue to freeze the new food? It’s a bit of a dilemma to me 🤷‍♂️
