I’m looking at a Pit Boss Austin XL around $500 USD on sale at the store and I’m trying to decide whether to pull the trigger or wait for something better. For around $500 USD, are there better pellet smokers than the Austin XL (more stable temp control, better lasting quality, etc.), or is the Austin XL actually the best option in this price range? For context: I’m mainly using it for smoking big cuts (brisket, ribs, pork shoulder). I’m okay with a big, heavy unit as long as it’s reliable and gives good, even temps. Obligatory hard mode ***** post since I've hit 90 hours, S-ranked every mission except A New America, and feel like actually moving on to play something else. I do love this game, but I also recognize its flawed and AVOID will probably keep avoiding entertainment. I also want to add that I'm someone who tends to play tough and tight games, or otherwise has beaten a number of games on their hardest difficulty, which I actually found fun.
