I purchased a second hand Skil compound miter saw 3800. Most of the screws/bolts were quite rusty and I’ve replaced all of them except 4 of these, which hold the plastic kerf insert onto the metal base. I need an exact match for the threading. Diameter is the same as all the standard M4s, but I haven’t found the correct threading at the big box US stores, or online, or searching through the collection of a friend’s friend who used to do a bunch of machining work or something. I’m located in the US. Please save me from having to duct tape the kerf plate back on.

This has been disappointing and shocking for most of us especially since our store last year underwent a renovation that cost over a million dollars.
