Ever since I became a substitute teacher about 3 years ago, I've lost my voice at least 2-3 times a year. It's always when I have some sort of a cold/cough and it always lasts at least a week. Yesterday, my dog was mauled while walking beside me on a short leash. This occurred at the Mimico waterfront. I was able to stop the attack with multiple puncture wounds and minimize thrashing due to my knowledge of stopping dog attacks and defensive handling. With the assistance of a stronger bystander, I held the dog against the ground to stop the thrashing, while its owner put his hands around his dog's mouth, which contained my dog's tail, and was also bitten multiples times all over his hands by his own dog. I no longer enjoy selling on Ricardo. The issue is not that my items don’t sell, but that I consistently receive very aggressive discount requests on products that are already fairly priced according to their brand and condition. For example, when I list a dress in very good condition with a retail price of 250 CHF for 30 CHF, I receive messages asking if I would accept 15 CHF. Requesting 40–50% discounts on items that are already reasonably priced feels less like negotiation and more like extreme bargain hunting. I am fed up with store management. They have no compassion or understanding of the salon. I have been grooming for a couple months and they will cut hours a week before even though we book up a day to two days before. We have many days that become booked do to them limiting the people working and we then have to turn people away. They want us to be booked but don’t let us have a consistent schedule. I am looking to book a cruise with a DUOE deal. I noticed in the T&Cs it says the offer applies to cabin assignment & guarantee categories. Does this mean it only applies if I let Carnival assign me a cabin? When I try to book it gives me both options (pick my room vs assign) and it is more expensive to pick my room.
