My fiancé and I currently have a doctor fish in a tank with our betta and some tetra. When we initially purchased him, the fish store told us he’d be fine in a 20gal tank but we went back the other day and a different store associate told us he’d need 30gal minimum. I don’t want to rely on google to sort out the conflicting info so I thought I’d come here. While we love him a lot and would **** to have to surrender him, we’re just not in a position to upgrade to a 30gal at the moment. But we also don’t want to keep him in a tank that’s too small.
