Sorry , probably a silly question but through my employer I recently acquired a mylifestyle card which gives me a 7 percent discount at certain stores including Marks and Spencer’s however I have no idea how to use it at the self service checkout I went a couple of days ago and tried all the options including gift cards/ debit card etc but to no avail and to save myself further embarrassment and holding up the queue I ended up paying with my credit card. To save myself further embarrassment next time can someone possibly tell me what option I should select at the check out?

Hi all, sorry for my english in advance as its not my first language. 1 year ago (2nd of April 2025) my dad was diagnosed with a brain tumour.
