Been trying to get some stuff from the US that doesn't ship to SG directly (mostly clothing brands and some electronics that I can't find here). We all know how weird it is to work a new store, figure out their routines, how they do stuff. I worked at a 24 hour store for Christmas, figured it would be chill. There would be intense rushes in a short period of time, lobby and online rolling in, but nothing I haven't dealt with. Then the store manager walked in. Idk if it’s literally just some Walmarts or not.. but basically all associates/team leads and some coaches from most other departments, go over to grocery every day to zone/pull stock in one aisle every single day. Usually around 1-3pm. Regardless of your notes or how busy the store is, it’s mandatory to run over to grocery and do wave (idk why it’s called wave tbh).. and every few days you gotta scan top stock.
