I recently moved to Germany from the US (and loving it so far!). I also been on a weight loss journey for the last 8 months or so. About a month before leaving the states, I stocked up on my favorite clothes in my new size, thinking it would last me a while. However, after just a few weeks of being here, between all the extra walking and better quality food, the weight has been melting off me even faster and now I’m swimming in all my new clothes. I roll my eyes every-time someone recommends Uniqlo for petites. Their sizing in Australia runs too big. The only good thing about them is that they offer in-store alterations. Even then, the waist size is still way too big. I was shocked when i tried on their pants that were supposedly an “xs” but my friend who is a size 10 could fit into it. Their coats are huge too. Maybe it’s just vanity sizing but they are not petite friendly at all. I feel frustrated every time i try their clothes. Other than tank tops, everything else is oversized. If you’re actually petite, forever new, basque and kookai are far better alternatives.

Happy weekend! I am transferring to store #271 next month, and was wondering if anyone here works there! How do you like it? What's the customer base like? Anything else I should know? Most importantly, what's expected clothing-wise? My current captain lets us tie-dye our shirts, but if I can't wear those in Salmon Creek I'll plan to give away the tie-dyed ones before I move.
