I got hired in diy at autozone they tried forcing me into driving and i told them i wasn’t interested in it all and now its got to the point where they will have me fill in when a driver doesn’t come in till later but then the drivers will make me do there runs as well while they set in the back also they have 3 drivers but they dont like one of them cause his slow and they dont like him so they automatically make me do it and i have to run sales counter in between runs can they force me into doing commercial driving when i was hired as diy im struggling here im constantly put in as a driver and they dont even ask they just bring me keys and a phone and tell me to sign in i don’t know ...

My daughter’s 2013 Mazda cx 5 started not starting on occasion. She is away at college so took it to a local auto parts store, not sure which. They tested and said the alternator is bad. I took on the mission of doing the swap out myself and it was definitely not a walk in the park but I got it done. Afterwards, it fired right up and I took it to my house. Next morning, same old issues. Sometimes fires right up. The struts I removed were Mercedes Benz branded, I dont know if they were original or not but they were OEM. The stud at the bottom going into the control arm measured .49" and was completely round. The ones I got from rock auto were round with 2 flat sides. The flats were .49 and the rounded part was .54. Went to Autozone and got a pair that looked round in the store and I measured .49 but they turned out to be oval shaped and are basically the same as the rock auto ones. Its sunday afternoon so I cant even call the Mercedes dealer but they are likely way out of my price range. Has anyone ever had this issue with these before? OK, I have two problems so I’m trying to figure out. I just bought this car with 65,000 miles on it so far I’m loving it for me and my family. However, yesterday when I got into the car after starting it with the fob, it did not detect the key so I went to AutoZone bought a new fob battery came back. The car started up just fine. I drove it to the convenience store and then it stopped detecting the key again until I just kept moving around and moving around till it finally detected it. Second problem that I having is that the parking sensor assist button won’t turn on for me at all. If anyone can help me with these two issues that be more than helpful thank you.

Bought a 1996 eclipse with the 420s engine, crankshaft sensor broke so removed it and bought a new one from autozone It doesn’t fit, way too long. Searched multiple stores and whenever I look it up online the same one that doesn’t fit pops up. I have the original still, but need help finding a possible solution.

Context: I work for Autozone. I'm a manager. I do some mechanic work on the side. Plugs, sensors, belts, alternators, starters, fans, filters, oil changes, valve covers. Maybe some other stuff. OK I'll explain this the way I am thinking about it/understand it. I totally get that you guys are probably gonna tell me I'm wrong. That's no problem. I am trying to learn. So I've got a winch and a deep cycle battery. I'm moving some heavy stuff from a stationary point . The winch drains the battery fairly quickly so I can only do a bit at a time. Someone explain to me how AutoZone does the raises thing. The store gets a certain amount of money for all zoners and the store manager gives them out as they see fit? I think my store manager has been stiffing all of us on our raises to give a female employee more every year she’s up to $19.15 an hour and doesn’t even know how to open the safe and she’s a manager

As a PSM, I started off at $15.45/hr. Other coworker worked for AutoZone for 3 years and making the same as me. Top paid PSM at my store was making $15.62/hr and worked for AutoZone for 4 years. Red shirts are all over the place. Red shirt who is making $11.00/hr and then the next red shirt who is newer is making $13.50/hr. He mad asf when he found out the new guy was making more. Store manager is salary but makes $50,000/yr. So of course AutoZone has a company *****/ slave ready to go.

My 2018 CX5 is due for a new battery, I got the car used in 2021/2022 Recently it’s been taking a LITTLE bit longer to start and I brought it in for a mechanic to take a look and apparently it still has the ORIGINAL 2018 battery in it. That being said this is my first time changing the battery in this car, any suggestions on one that is more reliable for this model of car , if not anything that’s compatible at autozone (or similar) stores should be fine?? Like everyone, ive ***** the ridiculous prices for the knife blade replacements. Even the very few off brands aren't as cheap as they should be. I cut leather quite often in my line of work and blades dull faster than usual. So after quite a bit of measuring and looking for suitable replacements, i figured it out. Snap off utility blades for retractable box cutters are the answer. Specifically 9mm wide X 30° angle. Those can be had from Amazon for about 5 bucks for a pack of 10, which gives you about 50 blades. I only had the more common type of 60° on hand for writing this, but they work just as good. 2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid Problem: Just after turning into and driving slowly in a parking lot the warning lights for power steering, traction control, and ABS lit up. I noticeably lost power steering for about 5-10 seconds. Then the lights went off and vehicle returned to driving normally.
