Recently did my first AC repair on my 2018 Subaru Forrester. The old compressor had seized. I replaced it with a new compressor and condenser I bought at Autozone. Because I was concerned of metallic debris, getting trapped in the condenser and destroying my new compressor. I’m pretty sure I did everything correctly. I bought the gauges and vacuum pump from Harbor freight. Installed the new compressor and condenser and let the vacuum pump draw it down for 20 minutes. I used one of the polar air, self service refrigerant cans from Autozone and refilled the system with the proper amount of refrigerant. And it has worked great for about two weeks. Autozone isn’t it for a Mini, let alone our Kia soul either now. What’s a good brick and mortar store in the Midwest for getting parts (parts that actually fit and are not for another body style mini) because I’m now 4 for 4 on parts that weren’t meant for the r61 and my other.

I work at AutoZone and while I do work in a singular location most of the time, I sometimes go to other locations to either help out and cover a shift or because there's an inventory and I'm the person sent from my store. I know you can do it by wifi, but AutoZone doesn't have a WiFi we can connect to and I don't want to add a ton of AutoZones I *might* go to one day or have been to before so I was curious if anyone who might be in a similar situation might have a suggestion? I'm buying this set from Autozone for my 2022 Honda Civic Sport. I'm not worried about getting scammed by Autozone or Powerstop as they're reputable brands, but at that price point, and for everything it includes, I mean, $186 has to be super low right? Just got flagged and suspended by LP for some reason and was wondering if anyone had any experience with this. For context, it wasn’t stealing or anything like that. Ive heard of this before years ago but since it didnt apply to me I never truly paid attention. So my Altima had the driver side rear control arm break while driving on the highway (fun!) and Nissan wouldn’t cover it (known problem for Altimas with an official recall on the 2013 model year, but no luck getting them to replace mine without a large bill). I was able to replace it on my own, but in addition to being a big hassle it was a little scary without a proper spring compressor. The Autozone one for rear coils was too large, and I was able to get a couple strut spring compressors on there but they were in the way and didn’t help much. The TSB calls out a Nissan specific spring compressor so that’s not much help. So now I want to do the other side as preventive maintenance! ...

My hours have been cut to 10. The store manager has only been apart of the business for 6 months and it shows. 3 people have already quit. I’ve been with the company for 2 years, left for 7 months and came back because my other job had me very stressed out. I’ve only been back since last December. 1990 ford f350 7.3 idi I have this core plug that popped last winter when I bought a 7.3 idi that the guy ran natures coolant through (note to self: ALWAYS check coolant). Anyway, I looked online before I took off the oil cooler and it said I needed a 1 49/64 plug, all I could find was a pack of 6 on ebay for 25 bucks, wrong ones.
