I have a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a Pentastar 3.6 engine. It has 102,000 miles. Back in December, I had a p301 code. Since I had just bought the car 2 months prior, and it was shy of 100,000 miles my first step was to change all of the spark plugs. I changed the spark plugs and checked the coil in cylinder 1 and it a bad coil. I went ahead and replaced the coil as well. Everything ran fine until 2 weeks ago when I had that same code again. I checked the coil and determined the coil I purchased was defective since I got it at Autozone and those tend to be defective. I replaced it, cleared the code, and everything was fine until today. Hello! I am currently at a loss. I’ve worked for autozone for almost 3 years. And as of recently my store got a new hire that was a manager from a different store for less than a year. He only transferred to the store im currently at to become a ASM. And for the last month he’s been having nonstop complaints about me. second check engine light in a month lol drove down the street to the store and then went to their gas station, filled up tank and right upon starting i noticed a super rough idle. hers isn’t the best to start but this was notificably different right away. ran an obd and codes p0420 and p0302 pending sat for 30 ish mins same idling upon startup check engine light turned on came home didn’t feel absolutely horrible driving but didn’t go above 30 and was literally only a minute. came back home and ran obd again p0302 was confirmed while p0420 is still pending. checked ignition coil and nothing, no visible spark plug damage but will get a ride to replace them tm in case. i’ve been...

Last week he said lights were coming on the dash and we took it to Autozone to have them check the alternator and battery. When they popped the hood, the battery was cracked and leaking acid. Hello all! I’d like to introduce everyone to Roscoe the veiled chameleon. I found him in the wild(an Autozone parking lot) this January and decided to adopt him. I live in Midwest Florida and wild veileds aren’t terribly uncommon here. Today I’d like some feedback on his care and enclosure since this is my first chameleon(not my first reptile). The weather here is ideal for him most of the year but my rule is to bring him inside anytime the low is under 50. About a week ago I made a post about my car voltage dropping on idle and causing it to shut off, it would ho from 14 to 12-11v (on the dash) when shutting off and even stay at 12v when driving. I did a couple tests that people told me to do. Use a multi meter on battery (14 volts was showing, but not when it was dropping on the dash) Take the car to an advance and autozone store to get tested (initially passed 2 times with advance testers and 1 with autozone tester) Take the alternator itself to get tested (tho was at orielys and it passed holding voltage at 14) Check for loose ground on battery (was loose but I changed corroded terminal connection and tighten it) After all this I w...

Just installed a serpentine belt tensioner on our Toyota 2008 Sienna -- not an easy job due to limited access. The kit that took a week to arrive from Autozone (Gates Complete Serpentine Belt Drive Component Kit 90K-38410A), ordered online, and was missing one of a pair of idlers. Since this weekend was our only chance to do the work, we went ahead and did the hard part. Then we called our local Autozone -- assuming they would help us get the missing part. They sent us to a national center (Memphis?), and they told us that we had to return the whole kit in order to get our idler. Hi ! I bought this car off of someone that didnt really seem to know much about these cars unfortunately and he filled the coolant up with whatever he had (its orange but not sure if its dexcool or just universal) and i bought this pink peak before i did some research but im getting so many mixed reviews and was wondering if anyone else had some insight on it. I know either way the safest thing to do is drain/ flush whatever is in there but what are your options 😁

As the title says. I am having trouble finding the rubber cupholder inserts for a Golf Mark 7.5. Everywhere I see them online have ridiculous shipping or are not available. Does anyone know if any stores might carry these? Like Autozone or other types of auto shops?

my impreza was hit by a flying rock on a highway that left a golf ball size scratch on my door. i tried to fix it with those paint pens you find at an autozone or other stores, but it looks terrible. the paint is uneven and blotchy. i’m not sure how to fix it now and im not in the financial situation to get a paint job done, but it’s looking like that’s what i’m gonna have to do - i care too much about how my car looks. any tips or advice is appreciated!

I've had it with the big box chains ripping people off like this when they just needed help getting home. Context: 2013 Nissan Sentra. This is the daughter of a customer of mine. College age.
