I’m thinking that this could be a great compact computer for when my MacBook Pro would be unneeded. Keyboard and trackpad quality is decent, nothing like a MacBook of course but it gets the job done. The arrangement and size of the keys will take getting used to for sure. By default, each and every iPad app can run on an Apple Silicon Mac. Unless the developers unlist manually the app, preventing it from being installed on a Mac. After getting my hands on an Apple Silicon Mac, I just checked that I’m not allowed to download and install the iPad version of Obsidian from the App Store… the only way to run a sandboxed instance of Obsidian on macOS… Why have you unchecked the iPad version from being able to be installed on a Mac? Why do you refuse, so adamantly, the sandboxing system which prevents the apps from accessing other parts of the system? I'm starting to see a rise in interest in the MacBook Neo for school districts, and with that I am starting to look into the fan-less design of the Neo. I have seen an interesting article and multiple tests that show that 2 1mm pieces of thermal padding on the CPU actually increases performance at around 10-20%. Thermal throttling with the CPU is nothing that Apple hasn't had before in their fan-less models, but with the Neo being so small, I am wondering if this mod is something you would consider. I’ve steered clear of using over the ear headphones for years due to not liking the feeling of my head being ’clamped’ but i tried a set on at the apple store a few weeks ago and i found them really comfortable, not too heavy and the clamp force wasn’t too tight.
