I own 3 waxing studio franchises. Corporate requires us to handle cosmetology license verification ourselves. Last month the health department showed up and one esthetician’s license had lapsed 2 weeks prior. They wrote up the whole location and corporate threatened to pull my franchise rights. I’m not in the stores daily. I trusted my managers to track it, but they’re busy too. How do you keep locations compliant when you can’t be everywhere? I need a system that doesn’t rely on people remembering.

I built Avoid mobile app to help me track and slowly break out of bad habits in a well managed fashion. I mostly didn't like either the strong UX/UI visuals of the existing top apps or the market, or they seemed too strong/convoluted in their daily app flow and features or had very restrictive free tiers with ads. In September 2025 I've released an outdoor navigation app called Mapeak. I recently released a new version that supports dynamic contour lines based on the unit the user chooses. It also has the ability to upload images to wikidata and update geographic information on openstreetmap (points of interest). This app has a monthly or yearly subscription of \~30$ to allow offline maps, offline route planning and much more, but has a very large free tier, it even has heatmaps for free.
