We built a car rental app — try it out and tell us what you think

6h ago

Hey Devs, Been working on something for a while and finally ready to share — FLYTS, a peer-to-peer car rental app. You know how finding a car rentals means endless TikTok numbers that never pick up? This fixes that. Rent directly from a verified local owner, self-drive or with a driver. Or list your idle car and earn from it. What's in the app: 🔍 Search cars by location, type and price 🚗 Self-drive and with-driver bookings 🧾 In-app wallet + direct payments 📋 Host dashboard to list and manage your car 🔔 Real-time trip and booking notifications Would genuinely love brutal feedback from this community — what's broken, what's confusing, what you'd ...

Hello! I had a 3 star review from a user who praised my product but claimed my pricing was misleading. My paywall specifies prices in USD (written exactly as USD, not just $). One click after, when the the App Store widget comes out for the actual payment, the equivalent of the USD amount is specified in the currency of the storefront when asking for the confirmation to pay. In his review, this ***** swears that the initial price was stated in his local currency (Australian Dollars) and that at the moment of paying, the price went up in a sneaky way. Of course a number price initially stated as USD will go up once turned into AUD since 1 AUD is worth less than a USD (e.g. a 50 USD yea...

[iOS] I built an app to read voice messages

6h ago

I built this because I thought it could be useful for me. Sometimes I get voice messages somewhere I can’t listen, or some of my friends send me really long voice messages that I don’t want to listen to all the way through. It works with WhatsApp, Telegram, KakaoTalk, and LINE. Right now, there is a free usage credit + the first week is free. I am open to feedback as the app is really new and I think it still needs to get better. Thank you all. AppStore : [Audio Transcriber - Voicely AI](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/audio-transcriber-voicely-ai/id6761912065) Important note: If you start the free trial just to test the app, don’t forget to cancel it from AppStore > Profil...

I built an app that turns garage and paddock photos into high-end renders. Let's see what it can do with your sport...

6h ago

I've been hanging around the Reddit vehicle communities for years, and I wanted to share a project I officially launched today called Ocular Studio. Sportbikes look their absolute best when they are out in the twisties or sitting in pit lane, but let's be honest, most of the photos we snap are just of the bike sitting in the garage, parked in a driveway, or stopped at a gas station. I built this app to fix exactly that by taking your standard, everyday photos and transforming them into cinematic, professional-level renders. The app features a built-in vault of 100+ locations. You just upload your baseline shot, and you can instantly drop your bike into a completely new envi...

I built a daily planner that structures your day from your brain dump — not just another to-do list [Free]

6h ago

Most planning apps give you a blank canvas and call it flexibility. DayBe does the opposite. You write down everything that’s in your head. Tasks, appointments, random thoughts and DayBe builds your actual day around it. What to do, when, and a short reason why. Fresh every single day. If a task window passes and you didn’t get to it, one tap moves it to a “later” bucket. No guilt. It shows up as a suggestion tomorrow, ready to roll over instantly. Free to get started. Would love feedback from this community! App Store: https://apps.apple.com/de/app/daybe-ki-tagesplanner/id6756941382

Brimhaven Refreshed

6h ago

# Brimhaven Refreshed Karamja has always had character, but it has never fully reached its potential, especially in Leagues, where it often feels like an afterthought. The other day, while running through Brimhaven to pay 1m to get my League's task complete, I found myself wondering... W*hy wasn’t Brimhaven lightly reworked alongside Sailing to make it feel like a proper pirate town?* Brimhaven could be transformed into a more immersive pirate township by introducing: * **Reinforced perimeter fencing with Pirate‑manned watchtowers** overlooking the jungle and coastline (reuse the watchtowers on the East/West Ardy gate. * **New farming facilities** * **New shops** * **New lo...

Hi all, Im Aristides, I go by [Aristides.lab on instagram.](https://www.instagram.com/aristides.lab/) # Someone tried to Steal my app. Recently I released an app that lets users take their iPhones Lidar output and send it to touchdesigner to create cool effects. The app has been moderatly successful, However someone in the community saw that and decided to take it for themselves. They created a copycat app. I wont mention it by name. This app is a carbon copy of my app and took features from other touchdesigner apps I had published. Theres several tells that he has copied me, But I think the biggest kicker is that he started his changelogs THE DAY, I put up my original instagram video - [...

Buying iPhone in Japan – is hotel delivery reliable?

6h ago

Hey all, I’m planning to buy an iPhone from the Apple Japan store while someone I know is visiting Tokyo. The issue is that the model I want isn’t available for Apple Store pickup right now—only delivery is showing. So I’m considering delivering it directly to their hotel in Tokyo. Has anyone here done this before? * Is delivery to hotels in Japan reliable? * Do hotels usually accept and hold packages for guests? * Anything specific I should watch out for (name format, phone number, timing, etc.)? Trying to avoid complications since they’ll be traveling and I don’t want to create hassle for them. Appreciate any advice or experiences—thanks!

I built an app for enthusiasts to give their builds the cinematic shots they deserve.

6h ago

I've been hanging around the Reddit car communities for years, and I wanted to share a project I officially launched today called Ocular Studio. We all pour so much time, money, and passion into our cars, and nothing beats the actual driving experience. But when it comes to taking photos, a lot of our shots end up being quick snaps in the garage on jack stands, or parked in a standard driveway. I built this app to take those everyday photos and transform them into professional-level, cinematic renders. The app features a built-in vault of 100+ locations. You just upload your baseline shot, and you can instantly drop your car into a completely new environment—like a legendary m...

What actually moved the needle after 4 days on the App Store (vocabulary app, solo dev)

6h ago

Solo dev here. [Plume is a word-of-the-day app](https://apps.apple.com/app/id6762819388) for iPhone - one word a day with etymology, pronunciation, and context. Serif typography, no gamification, no account required. Launched on April 25th. Here's what I've learned in the first few days, and what I shipped in v1.0.2 based on early feedback: **What users actually asked for (and what I shipped fast):** * French and German vocabulary - the #1 request from day one. Added 1,000+ words per language with native pronunciation and English translations. Gated behind Pro. * Colour palettes - five options (Vellum, Paper, Dusk, Sage, Rose) with light/dark variants. Free for everyone. *...

Harleen Kaur let the Minister finish before she looked up at the screen. That was the first thing people always misunderstood about her. They mistook stillness for submission. On the wall behind Arvind Menon, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam smiled his mild, impossible smile down at the room, as if this too were only another technical problem waiting for the right mind. The air-conditioning was turned too low. It made the china cups sweat and the tea skin over faster than anyone could drink it. Menon’s cup had been refilled twice. He had not taken a sip. Vikram Sethi had finished his first and asked for another without looking at the tray. Raghav Bedi had not touched his at all. On the screen, Minister...

The new tomodachi life is so boring - am I missing the point?

6h ago

Idk maybe I just don't get it but it's, for me, way worse than the 3DS game. After 8 hours of gameplay I can confidently say that I've seen everything the game has to offer. Every single joke is based on your creations and slang, which means that every joke is basically pulling from a list of templates. At some point, it's just not funny anymore to see a character reference something that you typed. The game always reminds me of the computer saying it's alive meme, where someone tells the computer to say "I'm alive", which it does, to which the user responds in shock. It's always "Hey, what do you think of (object)?" "Oh I like ...

Surf Tracking for Apple Watch: BreakFinder Now on watchOS

6h ago

# Surf Tracking for Apple Watch: BreakFinder Is Now on watchOS A surfer in Japan sent me a message a few months ago. He was already using BreakFinder on his phone to check forecasts, but he wanted the swell and wind on his wrist — specifically when he was standing in the car park before paddling out, phone still in the bag. Not a session tracker. Just the forecast, right there as a watch face complication. That request is now shipping. BreakFinder for Apple Watch launched in April 2026, and the forecast complication is part of it. So is automatic wave detection, GPS session tracking, heart rate, and a ride/paddle/wait breakdown — the full session analytics that have been running on Gar...

I’m a young man working for a Walgreens in the state of NJ , I just started a week ago been super smooth at my location can handle the register of course , and every function needed like financial services , refunds and etc. I also can handle the Photo Booth , run the floor though they always seem to have just be register slave boy bit anyways that’s besides the point. I know I have to be charismatic and what not (charisma maxxing) not even joking but also what other opportunities are there in the store they offer the most pay even if it’s $2-$3 increase I am interested in learning what positions / roles and how to possibly go about it or enter it and try to speed run my way there. I built an app that makes your first car look like a million bucks. Let’s see your rides!

6h ago

I've been hanging around the Reddit car communities for years, and I wanted to share a project I officially launched today called Ocular Studio. There is nothing quite like the pride of getting your first car, but snapping a picture of it sitting in the driveway or a crowded parking lot doesn't always capture how special it feels to you. I built this app to fix exactly that by taking your standard, everyday photos and transforming them into cinematic, professional-level renders. The app features a built-in vault of 100+ locations. You just upload your baseline shot, and you can instantly drop your first car into a completely new environment, dial in the lighting, and make i...

I built a quiet focus timer because productivity apps kept becoming the distraction

6h ago

I kept quitting productivity apps because the setup became a second job: dashboards, streaks, settings, analytics, systems to maintain. So I built Pith as the opposite: one quiet focus block that feels alive. The core loop: \- pick a focus duration \- start a session \- an animal grows while you stay focused \- if you quit early, it gets hurt \- ambient sounds if you want them \- no ads \- core focus features are free It is iOS-only for now. It is not an app blocker and not a giant productivity system. The point is to make starting easier, not to give you another place to procrastinate. Hey, I built an app that helps you put outfits together using color theory. You take a photo of something you own and it shows you combinations that actually work, based on 348 curated palettes. Very niche, I know. Today I shipped v1.4.0. The main new thing is a virtual wardrobe where you take photos of your actual clothes, cut them out, and try combinations before getting dressed. Here are my numbers after about a month (screenshot in Spanish, sorry, the numbers are what matter): https://preview.redd.it/3b8wji...

I built an app that turns everyday driveway photos into high-end renders. Let's see what it can do with your Audi!

6h ago

I've been hanging around the Reddit car communities for years, and I wanted to share a project I officially launched today called Ocular Studio. Audi is my favorite car brand, and in my opinion are some of the most beautiful, tech savvy vehicles on the road, but let's be honest, taking a quick photo of your car parked at a gas station or in a cluttered driveway just doesn't do that engineering any justice. I built this app to fix exactly that by taking your standard, everyday photos and transforming them into cinematic, professional-level renders. The app features a built-in vault of 100+ locations. You just upload your baseline shot, and you can instantly drop you...
