I Decided to Build My Own Analytics, This Is How It Went5h ago# Hey all, this is not AI written so you can keep on reading :) So I needed analytics for my side projects. My first instinct was to connect **PostHog**, and it was great, I use it to this day, however it's just too complicated for the simple analytics that I wanted: Country, Origin, some UTMs, per user attribution, entry page, pages, and revenue. Later I discovered that PostHog events are immutable, and I couldn't remove my test fake data from their analytics. In order to do so I'd need to write manual SQL filters all over the place, so I started looking for an alternative. The first one I found was **Plausible**, installed it - all great, but it did not have per user att... Selling my AirPods Pro (2nd generation) - fairly used5h agoHi everyone, Selling my Apple AirPods Pro (2nd generation) for **₹12,000**. **Reason for selling:** Upgrading. The AirPods are in really good condition and work perfectly. The outer case has a few light surface scratches from an old cover, but nothing major. Happy to answer any questions or share additional photos/videos if needed. **Includes:** Original case + earbuds, comes with the original box but I lost the cable. Location: around Malleshwaram Serious buyers only please. Thanks! So... Need help testing a new AR feature: Custom Avatars + Spatial Ad Placements for small businesses!5h agoHi everyone, I’m currently adding a new layer to **TwitGo** and I could use some expert eyes. I’m building a system where users can choose **Custom Avatars** and drop them at physical locations along with **Promotional Text/Ads**. The goal is to help those 400M+ small businesses I mentioned before to have a "digital representative" (an avatar) standing right in front of their shops, offering deals in AR. **If you are an iPhone user, I’d love for you to test the current build and help me with:** 1. **Avatar UX:** How does the selection and placement feel? 2. **Visual Stability:** Do the text bubbles and avatars feel "pinned" to the world, or do they drift too muc... Winking Owl Shiraz5h agoI live in the Kissimmee Orlando area and have for the past month been looking to get my favorite wine Shiraz at Aldi and they no longer appear to be available. I’m hoping this is temporary and question why it would be taken removed from the stores as it’s the best Winking owl wine available and sells so well. I’ve gone to several locations and cannot find it. Can someone please tell me if they will bring this back to the store soon? A small announcement from your local librarian. Be excited for early copies, but don't post bookstore locations.5h agoGood evening, Crawlers! I see that a lot of you have discovered early copies of the newest book hitting the shelves before the release date. Be excited! Post pictures of your early copies! However, don't draw attention to the exploit by listing bookstore locations if at all possible. We would **** for the admins or AI to notice and patch out the glitch. In more serious terms, as someone that handles pre-release materials of books we sign contracts with our suppliers that we won't put out books before the release date. It's a simple, easy mistake to accidentally do so, though. That being said, if a publisher or supplier figures out we've messed up many can and will refus... Synchronicity5h agoI grew up reading a lot of ancient Indian stories like many Indians. I decided to compare those stories with other mythologies. I was thinking about Samudra Manthan where gods and demons churned the ocean. For some reason, I began to visualize (I can kind of visualize things) gods and demons churning the ocean inside the Egyptian Pyramid. I became curious and began to search Egyptian mythology for something similar. I came across Aqen, and was able to make the comparison. Gods and demons pulled the Rope of Time as outlined in the Egyptian tomb. Gods and demons pulled Vasuki, the serpent king as rope. Vasuki's elder brother Shesha is a symbol of time. When Sheshanaga uncoils, time ... I built a recipe sharing community app. Would love some feedback!5h agoHey r/iOSProgramming! I wanted to share something I've been building for a year now: Cravin'. The problem: finding good recipes usually means digging through blogs packed with ads and paragraphs of backstory before you even see the ingredients. And if you want to share your own cooking, there's not really a place that feels like a community. Cravin' is a recipe-sharing app centered around two things: accessible recipes and building a community. You can browse a home feed of dishes from home cooks, no account needed. If you want to post your own, people can vote "Sweet" (like) or "Sour" (dislike) on it and you can see how it stacks up on the Leaderboa... Contract law5h ago*Edit* *Mod requested condensation* Quick back story: Roughly a year ago I discovered mold in multiple places of my previous apartment. It had also affected an item and we had not only gotten verbal confirmation that remediation would be performed on the item, as well as multiple emails stating they were either working on finding vendors or didn't know where the item was when we told them for safety it couldn't be stored anywhere other than the contaminated apartment. Could the multiple emails be used against them in court for breach of contract? I have verifiable evidence showing they agreed to perform those services at their cost but haven't yet. Also: Can I take the... Miller bobbleheads at select Cox locations ⚾️🔥5h ago(Hypothetical situation) You are about to fight 1000 average players. I created an app that doesn't, it works without internet and even signal. SkyLocation uses your iPhone's GPS chip to show where you are: city, country, altitude, speed. Even in airplane mode. Just tap your phone on the window glass in the plane and fetch coordinates via GPS and the app does the rest. I also added the feature called Horizon which shows you the sunrise, sunset, golden hour, moon phase, and a compass that always points home. Anywhere on Earth. No login. No ads. No tracking. No subscriptions. Private & offline. App is already being loved in 115+ countries. Would love to get your all feedback on what mo... Home Video Club is now live on the App Store5h agoA small milestone: Home Video Club is officially live on the App Store. Home Video Club is an iPhone/iPad app for people who use Plex and want their library to feel more like a personal video store: shelves, Staff Picks, member profiles, title requests, curated walls, and a store you can share with friends or family. It started as a personal project because I missed the feeling of browsing a real video store instead of scrolling through another flat grid. The app now has two themes: \- Classic Video Store \- Streaming-style storefront It’s free to download, with an optional one-time Video Store Owner unlock for people who want to build out a fuller shared store. **App Store:** [App... [OS] OpenASO — automate ASO research to get more App Store downloads5h agoI built OpenASO, a free and open-source ASO tool for developers who want more App Store installs: [https://openaso.thirdtechapps.com](https://openaso.thirdtechapps.com) ASO research is incredibly manual, and most existing tools are expensive. OpenASO helps automate competitor/keyword research using real App Store data. Features include: * keyword tracking by storefront/country * competitor research * screenshot analysis + bulk downloads * localized metadata comparison * App Store review export/analysis * review translation + replies * review velocity/sentiment tracking It supports iPhone, iPad, and macOS apps. OpenASO also supports MCP, so AI agents can use it as a real App Store data ... [Update] GroceryTap v1.3.0 — shared lists, brand notes, and cloud backup5h agoHey, I posted here a while back when I first launched GroceryTap (https://grocerytap.app). Wanted to share what's changed since then. * The biggest addition is shared lists. You can now invite a partner or housemate via an invite code, no accounts needed, and the list syncs in real time between devices. You both get push notifications when items are added or removed. Been the most requested thing since launch. * Also added in recent updates: optional brand notes on items (so "Milk" can remember "Kirkland" or "Organic" and pass that to Instacart), cloud backup as an opt-in toggle, and a bunch of reliability fixes under the hood. * Still the same core idea ...
