Hi, Just looking for some reassurance or advice mainly. I applied to multiple different locations in the past month, and normally whenever I get rejected I’ll get an email within two weeks. There’s like two locations that haven’t given me an update email yet and it’s been a month. Is this meant to happen? Also, they’ve taken down the application for the locations so I assume they’re responding? And if so, is it a silent rejection or is it the store managers being a bit slack?

Does anyone else have issues with the Franke machines? Our steam wands constantly don’t steam to temp, sensors go out often, there have been weeks I’ll have to call a tech out to service my machines 3x in a week because sensors go off and we can’t get the machine to work even with troubleshooting. Sharing to see if there are any holes in my plan I have a remote site (could be sibling, parent, dorm room etc) where I have a Rocky 9 Linux box. It is behind a NAT but I can ssh to it via BOTH wireguard to my network and via tailscale. I want to set up an 8TB store locally and an 8TB store at this remote location and rsync nightly. At the remote site, I would like to encrypt the drive using LUKS and keys. The keys will not reside on the remote machine, when I connect to the box, I will decrypt the storage using stdin from local box, mount, rsync, umount, then close the the luks device.
