Old personal iPod with account already on iPod. I didn’t use it for years because I needed to update iOS and left it in storage but still was able to get into it. I tried using it again to download music but starts with restoring iPod now. I’ve already checked to see if my account id there there and it is. Can see my stuff on iCloud. Called costumer service and they couldn’t do anything but said to try and go into an Apple Store to see if they could help but I don’t live by one close. Hi everyone, recently my computer has been glitching and going black. It’s only a 2024 year model, and I don’t use it for anything besides school and watching shows. For over a month now, this has been on my screen and will not go away. I’ve tried everything. I can’t even restart my Mac to get it to be less glitchy because of this systems setting thing. I wanted to add a terminal interface to my macOS menu bar app so you could pipe things through it in scripts. Seemed simple. Turned out to be the most annoying part of the whole project. The problem is sandboxing. The CLI binary and the main app can't just talk to each other normally. You can't write to shared temp files, you can't use localhost sockets cleanly, and XPC felt like overkill for what I needed. What actually worked was App Groups. The CLI writes the job input to a file in the shared container, fires a URL scheme to wake the app, then polls for an output file. The main app reads the input, runs the tool, writes the result back.
