There’s an item I want desperately, but it’s out of stock online in my size (and it’s final sale so I doubt it’ll come back). I noticed an interesting trend in the App Store, specifically in the self-education section. With the advent of AI, there has been a boom in app creation unlike anything seen before so much so that Apple changed their policies to no longer boost free apps. Sure, the majority of these new AI apps are slop, but a good number, specifically education apps like LearnStreak and YouLearn are dramatically useful, particularly for the future I believe we're heading toward. A future where adaptability will matter more than credentials. In that world, an app like LearnStreak which lets you convert any document into a structured, daily course could become one of the primary educators of the masses.

Herd an off noise pulling out of my work place parking lot but was on a phone call so thought it mite have been a call related noise. 40 min later home i get home, no computer! I called an Employee of mine who was nice enough to fish it out the road for me. Outside of the screen everything works, track pad is cracked but functioned. pretty amazing and apple confirmed its repairable and usually do repairs in-store. Since it’s in really rough shape and i have apple care they wanted to send it in as the repair center may deem it a replacement instead the quoted 1849 in repairs. ***** gonna burn 300 for being a dummy, still thought i should share just how ridiculous strong these chassis are.

The other day I had an order that was 2 different stores. About 3 miles apart. But the second customer store/order had more items so takes longer to shop. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving the other first order in the car in 85-90 degree florida heat and humidity in the middle of the day. Hi all, looking for advice on whether it’s worth pursuing this further or if I’m realistically stuck paying for the damage. This happened in Alexandria, Sydney (NSW). My car was parked on the street outside a construction site when a cement mixer truck appears to have clipped the rear wheel arch while turning a tight corner. The damage is cosmetic (wheel guard / arch area) but the repair quote is likely to be well over my $1000 excess, which I don't really want to pay.
