Has anyone recognized this street stairway from the game cover?

You can see it twice while finding your way back to the Chizuruya General Store and while looking for Shu and Rinko on the way to school. I thought it's cool to see stuff like this!

AITAH for avoiding the disabled guy in my class?

1h ago

There is a guy in my uni class that has been trying to make friends with everyone in our class for months, he will dm everyone about the most random stuff and respond to stories to make conversation. It's not like he is alone during lectures or breaks, but he doesn't seem to have a solid friendgroup to always be with, just kinda floating around between people. I have never spoken to this guy, he sent me a facebook friend request but I just ignored it. I was talking to my friend about how he is kind of weird and comes off very strong. She told me that the first week of classes he told her and a bunch of other people how he has (or had?) an intellectual disability. She told me that h...

iPad Air Gen 4 with Wacom Bamboo Fineline Go

1h ago

Disclaimer up top: I am not an Apple ecosystem guy. My only experience with the products besides school computers and old iPods, I've only ever used old iPhones when I'm between other models. No ****, just never really gotten into it. I only say that to say go easy on me please if any of this is basic or common knowledge. I draw a lot for work as a contractor. Think take a pic, then draw a handrail on it to quote a customer. My tattoo artist friend is like "Get an old iPad and Procreate. Its great, all my tattoo friends use it." So I got an Air Gen 2 and the Fineline Go from the used electronic store in town. Salesman said it would work, but the Air Gen 2 can't run ...

Need some support/advice please!!

1h ago

For context, I have been made aware of the company policy for cell phone usage. At my location, it's pretty bad and we need to take action immediately per instructions of my DM. So I politely told Person A(I won't use any names ofc) this word for word "Hey I don't mind if you need to check your phone for important texts or anything I totally understand, just make sure to check them either in the breakroom, office or bathroom if needed. Also, we can't be sitting here on our phone all day. It's a bad look for customers and our DM has been seeing that at this location and wants us to just make sure we are following the cell phone policy, and that also includes wear...

Question for the Jersey Mike fellas

1h ago

So I work at a Jimmy John’s so obviously rivalry and different ways of doing things but I come in peace and otta curiosity. So I was seeing a tt of a jersey mikes guy and god it looked busy asf and my first question how much does it slow you guys down to have to slice things individually and do you guys just slice a lot of one thing sometimes or ? Also how do you guys portion I realize if your slicing in front of customer your never gonna be weighing it so you just eye out everything I’m guessing. Also what would you guys do if someone has a specific meat or dairy/cheese allergy I ask because I know you guys don’t clean the slicer after slicing every individual meat. 2nd question why i...

Built and released my app, what now?

1h ago

I know a common thread in this channel is “I’ve built my app and here are all of my users,” but I want to know what the best next steps are. I built an app and released it on the App Store, and here’s what I did and what I’m doing now: \- set up Apple ads \- post in channels related to the problem I’ve solved \- made short form videos So far my users are slow to non existent. I did NOT expect users to just flock to my app now that it exists, but I’m curious what the best way of gaining users is. I know it’s a grind, but please provide your experience. I’m looking mostly for: 1. How did you actually get users to download the app 2. How did you get users to pay for yo...

Built a grocery app that now works with ANY store and still saves us $200/month (Plateful 7 month update)

1h ago

Seven months ago I shared my app [Plateful](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/plateful-grocery-list-budget/id6743173309), a (solo or collaborative) grocery list app with real-time pricing and how it helped my wife and me stop blowing our grocery budget. Back then it was limited to about 12 supported stores and focused on shared lists, live totals, and basic meal-planning. Since that post, the biggest change is this: **The big update: any store, one app** Before: Plateful only worked with a fixed set of stores (Walmart, Target, ALDI, Costco, etc.). Now: you can shop basically any grocery store that has a website: * Open an in-app browser * Go to your store’s site (big chain or local) * Tap...

For Shoppers and Customers -

1h ago

Shipt shoppers are primarily affected by whether they receive a **5-star rating or anything lower**. Ratings below five stars can make it harder for a shopper to receive future orders, and a one-star rating usually prevents that shopper from being assigned to you again. A top-rated shopper typically introduces themselves through a message, communicates about substitutions or out-of-stock items, delivers within the scheduled window, and leaves the order neatly at the requested drop-off location. Orders are often bundled with another order which could be larger or smaller than the other order and could be a far distance from the first delivery location. **Customers can reduce the number of me...

Need chunky engagement ring inspo!!

1h ago

My partner and I started looking at engagement rings and I don’t love the settings the jewelry stores showcase. I know I want a solitaire oval diamond on a thicker shiny tapered band. I just think it would look so pretty with a skinny eternity wedding band. I’ve attached pictures of settings I’ve found online close to what I have in mind. The taper and rounded edges kind of gives it that touch of softness/femininity I’m looking for while the thickness of the band adds comfort. I haven’t had any luck locating a jeweler that has chunkier band engagement rings available to try on. The trends seems to be skinny band settings and I feel like it’s squeezing the life outta my lil sausa...

The app is now fully translated into: French, German, Japanese, Korean, Spanish and Russian. **What’s New in 1.4:** * **Native Mac App:** Built specifically for macOS. 2014 Nissan Altima repair help

1h ago

Hello everyone, I’m new to the group here Needing some advice suggestions for DIY service on my 2014 Nissan Altima 2.5 L SV supposedly from the research I have done but I’ve got mixed reviews. The images of this sensor is a map sensor. It is bolted directly on the side of the intake manifold towards back between the firewall and the manifold. It is held on by two T25 Torx head screws. I have no problem getting to the top screw the bottom screw literally has about a pinky fingers with a space to access the head of the screw. Has anybody ever replaced this on their vehicle I also sent pictures of the engine the red arrow points to the sensor. I bought this car used in December of 25 no...

Looks Like Making WhistlinDiesel The Poster Boy For Tax Evasion is Working

1h ago

Rich People Have Been Dodging Car Taxes for Years Using Montana. California Has Had Enough. 14 people charged. 56 counts. Over $20 million in exotic cars. A Ferrari that burned in a cornfield. And a YouTuber with 10 million subscribers who may have been exactly the poster boy the authorities were looking for. Outside of the United States, buying a car is fairly straightforward. You pay the purchase price, you pay whatever tax your government applies, you register the car, you drive it. In the US it is more complicated, because tax and registration rules operate at state level rather than federally, and that patchwork of rules created a loophole that the wealthy have been exploiting for dec...

Broadway road collapse

1h ago

At around 4:25 today a sewer on Broadway, between Grand and Broom, started spouting out waste water. Not even 2 minutes later, after a bus drove over, the road began to collapse. In the next few minutes more holes began to appear in the road causing further collapse. 911 & 311 were called and they shut down the street and surrounding stores near the flood. The street flood then made its way down into the basement of the store located next to the sewer.

Closed Testers Needed — 80 Knots

1h ago

App Description: I've been building a new app that's lingered on my mind for a while now - what if you could board VATSIM flights virtually, and fly across the world in a digital map, collecting prestige, destinations and airports as you go along? Enter 80 Knots. Select a starting airport, and virtually board VATSIM pilots' aircrafts to hop across the globe. The time scale, delays and everything is 1:1 - a 12 hour London to Hong Kong flight will also last 12 hours in-game. I've been wondering if 80 Knots has potential as a real app. I see it as a quite niche project, but would love some thoughts on it - what does it lack, what could be better and what does it not need?...

I’ve been living in the National Radio Quiet Zone. Last night, my cell phone rang.

1h ago

I’ve been living deep in the National Radio Quiet Zone for almost a year now. For those unfamiliar, the NRQZ is a thirteen thousand mile cube of land in West Virginia where the usage of radio frequency is extremely limited to protect the sensitive equipment of the observatory and military intelligence facilities located within. Now I know what you’re probably thinking. This guy's a farmer right? Nope, I work in data analysis. Call center reporting specifically, and yes that is exactly as boring as it sounds. A common misconception is that the area is off the grid, but really it’s just a cellular dead zone. No signal or radio broadcasts for miles and miles. Most of the permanent re...

I couldn't find a lifting log that actually felt like an Apple app, so I built one (No subscriptions)

1h ago

I’ve tried almost every popular workout tracker on the market. Most of them get the job done, but as an iPhone user, they always felt a bit... off. They feel like cross-platform web wrappers stuffed into an app icon. Clunky, visually cluttered, and laggy. I wanted a pure digital logbook that looked and felt like Apple themselves had designed it. Something fast, beautiful, and completely native to iOS. Since I couldn't find it, I built it. It’s called **Plates: Weightlifting Log**. Instead of building a social network or an AI chatbot, I focused entirely on the user experience and the core fundamentals of lifting: * **Truly Native iOS Design:** This was the main goal. Plates is b...
