We got HomePods at my work for music, everyone on staff has iPhones so it is easy for everyone to set the station. I’m the person who set them on on my apple account ( I’m a management). My first apple cider! I squeezed and pasteurised(63C) apple juice, added yeast and let it ferment. After sitting in primary for four months(I was too lazy to take it out) I crack open the bucket and i am greeted with the most thick and luscious layer of pellicle/kahm yeast I have ever seen. Very powdery, almost chunky or sandy beige colored coat. I took a sample out, and it smells and tastes.... interesting, and the color is rather pale. On the nose it's solvent-y, ethereal and oddly like chicken instant noodles(Huh?!). The base notes are pleasantly apple and delicious.
